Apparently Rogic is away to Qatar £4m.

philtim88

1.) 19 Aug 2020 15:03:30
Would probably be why we are back in for Turnbull.

2.) 19 Aug 2020 15:04:45
Hopefully.

3.) 19 Aug 2020 15:11:05
Use money for Turnbull and Duffy loan!

4.) 19 Aug 2020 15:21:54
Lennie seems to be learning out go players who are not playing regularly and in come comptition for the first teamers.

5.) 19 Aug 2020 15:26:48
Neilybhoy that is perfect idea my friend.

Enrico will be sad to see Tom go but his fitness and his matches played just isn’t there.

Been a great servant and wish him all the best he has played his part in helping the club towards 10.

But now is time to move on and getting young turnbull and Duffy over the line would be money well spent 🍀

My friends it is midweek time for some grape juice 🍷.

6.) 19 Aug 2020 15:28:31
My friends would also keep Ntcham and let Rogic go Enrico would be unhappy to see Ntcham go.

7.) 19 Aug 2020 16:06:00
He still only 27,what a pity his injuries have always held him back. Great Feet and he loved skelping. I suppose the money out there will secure his family’s future.
Good Luck to him.

8.) 19 Aug 2020 16:15:36
I am going to take pelters for this i know, and I am so glad nobody who knows me in real life can see this. but is Enrico the REAL Enrico? 🙉.

9.) 19 Aug 2020 16:18:45
He missed far too much football and the travelling back and forward with Australia Internationals didn't help. Some great goals along the way; but far too few matches for his time at Celtic. Good luck TR.

10.) 19 Aug 2020 16:44:31
I don't think he was ever back to form since he broke hand playing for Australia. Stuck out like a sore thumb playing after that.

11.) 19 Aug 2020 17:47:12
The goal to win the Invincible treble will always make him a club legend. Good luck to him if it happens.

12.) 19 Aug 2020 17:52:14
But is the story true.

13.) 19 Aug 2020 17:59:55
Would be happy for that amount for him. Luxury player but did have some memorable moments. Turnbull a bit of a gamble though given that injury. How about a loan with a clause to buy? We take away the risk and Motherwell get cash either way?

14.) 19 Aug 2020 18:37:39
Would be absolutely gutted to see him go he's a celtic legend and immortalised by the fans regardless if he's hardly played for the best part of 18 months.

He's still only 27 and if he manages to stay fit he's one hell of a player and probably the best technically gifted player we have, I think the travelling back and forth knocked it out him in the end but he will always be held in high regard and welcomed back with open arms if he does leave.

15.) 19 Aug 2020 19:01:13
Course he is Markie. Why wouldn't he be.

16.) 19 Aug 2020 19:15:47
Rogic is a great player but is always injured so we can't count on him for the whole season. We need players who are rarely injured and if the money being quoted is correct then I think its a good deal.

17.) 19 Aug 2020 20:03:44
Rogic is a good player but 25 goals in 125 games for us as a no:10 over 7 seasons is no way where near being classed as a legend.
Yes he scored some important goals in games but he didn't do it anywhere near enough for me.
The term "legend" gets thrown about far to easily these days.

18.) 19 Aug 2020 20:28:58
For the money payed Whell worth it 750 grand wee payed last minute belters goals in big qualifiers cup final winners crackers v the rangers thanks for the memories Tom cracking servant to the club 🍀.

19.) 19 Aug 2020 20:43:32
he is a good player but far from a legend. very seldom lasted more than an hour before he was blowing out his arse, that and been injury prone means he is no more than a bit part player and celtic are better of with whatever money they get.

20.) 19 Aug 2020 21:09:39
Correct jonbhoy look at commons for example over a hundred goals from a simialiar position need a player to be fit as possible .

21.) 19 Aug 2020 21:44:04
If he manages to stay fit?
Tom rogic has NEVER been fit while at celtic. Even when not injured he isn't fit enough to regularly play 90 minutes.

22.) 19 Aug 2020 23:02:28
Phlipphlop Markie my friend of course it is Enrico who else would it be?

God bless 🍀🍷.

23.) 19 Aug 2020 23:36:46
If Rogic could stay fit would be worth rubbish loads brillant player, good luck to him.

24.) 20 Aug 2020 08:47:23
Rogic a legend hahaha absolute belter. He had a good 6 months when brendan first took over apart from that he has been average barring a handful of decent games.

25.) 20 Aug 2020 08:53:20
Dont know wat u lose till its gone offers much more than ntcham who plays well once or twice a season yet people think he's a class above.

26.) 20 Aug 2020 08:58:07
Legend status McNeil McStay Johnstone brown I don’t think Rogic quite fits that category good servant though not a legend.

27.) 20 Aug 2020 10:13:27
Wouldnt say he's a legend but he's been involved in legendary moments.

28.) 20 Aug 2020 11:42:15
Big tam has been involved in some magical moments for us, and fit and on his game he’s a joy to watch! Problem is I can’t actually remember the last time he was fit and on his game! Like kev said, even when ‘fit’ he barely ever completed a 90 min! We play 50-60 games a season and the fact he’s managed just 100 odd games in 7 years says it all. if we get offered decent money we take and he’ll go with everyone’s best wishes 👍🏼🍀.

29.) 20 Aug 2020 11:54:06
Seen something online that says rogic going to Brighton in exchange for Duffy it makes sense if true.

30.) 20 Aug 2020 20:00:27
I was never that much bothered with the hype surrounding Rogic, apart from one or two spectacular, can't really see what he brought to the team, a much, much inferior player when compared to Ntcham.

23 Jun 2019 03:32:01
Media in London saying Tierney wants move apparently.

philtim88

1.) 23 Jun 2019 07:57:54
Huw would they know if he goes it should be for top dollar.

2.) 23 Jun 2019 10:15:35
I was in London last night guys and was speaking with an Arsenal board member. Didn’t give me any details at all but just said that if Tierney wasn’t an Arsenal player by the end of this week he would be very surprised. Only passing on what he said.

3.) 23 Jun 2019 10:18:55
If it’s true we should hold out for at least 25-30 million. when you got defenders like walker and stones going for 45 plus.

4.) 23 Jun 2019 11:35:19
30m, a sell on % and a couple of their young players as a sweetener. Bielik, Reiss Nelson, Smith Rowe and Saka look like very good young players. No way should we be looking for any less than this with the money being quoted in the EPl.

5.) 23 Jun 2019 12:13:54
He will be away for £20m plus sell on clause be end of week.

6.) 23 Jun 2019 13:32:43
20 million my arse. If the club sell him for that someone should get the door for it. McKenna is quoted at 10 million for God sake and Maguire 70 million! At least 25 to 30 min in the current market and add ons on top.

14 Jun 2019 23:05:24
Celtic have been known for as long as I can remember as having a strict policy of doing business behind closed doors.

Clubs negotiating with us will be well aware of that, so why did Motherwell go public?

I think Turnbull agents (same ones Stuart Armstrong has and look what happened there) have advised Motherwell to go public to induce an English team to come in with a higher bid and bigger salary for Turnbull which leads to bigger commission for Agents.

As much as I think Turnbull is a good player, I would rather see club pull the plug and not deal with these Agents again no matter who player is.

philtim88

1.) 15 Jun 2019 08:21:31
To be fair agents have to do what's right for their players, however I would honestly prefer the club move on and cut ties with the deal. If the player was demanding more game time or if it was money, I couldn’t care less. As far as I’m concerned the player has earned his move, he was offered a substantial wage rise, now if he wants more game time and more money, he has to earn that, once he's in the door. If not, he's not the kind of player I want to be at Celtic park. To be honest I liked Armstrong on the pitch but all the carry on with his contract meant he was purely at our club for the money, there was a coldness there, not criticising him, just stating how I felt. I want players who are here for the honour of playing for such a prestigious club and to be part of the family. Each to their own and good luck to the boy, just not for us.

2.) 15 Jun 2019 08:20:11
I don't remember anything untoward happening with Armstrong.

3.) 15 Jun 2019 09:25:51
Am with u on that one phil.

4.) 15 Jun 2019 11:34:36
Kevbhoy his agent messed about hawking him all over England. When they couldn't find a club he'd only extend his contract for a season.

5.) 15 Jun 2019 12:43:56
That's right enough Kev. I forgot about that.

6.) 15 Jun 2019 21:28:29
Whilst I said agents have to do what's right for their clients, I don’t believe Mr Gillis is, I think he’s enjoying the heights of the job, acting like Billy big baws, something he couldn’t achieve as a player. He done better than me as a player right enough, but I’m still grounded and am proud to earned everything I have. Something that appears to be lost here! Seen a pic of Ross McCormack sleeping off a hangover the other day, maybe young Turnbell fancies that sort of career, chasing the £’s rather than the medals. As I said earlier, move on, I don’t want to see loads of youngersters getting his name on their new strips, if that’s the way he is. Would certainly avoid Prolegal in the future!

26 Feb 2019 15:52:47
Anyone else heard mourinho?

philtim88

1.) 26 Feb 2019 15:57:47
What a turn around that would be 😂.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 15:59:12
Id take him.

3.) 26 Feb 2019 16:05:45
Bring the king home 🍀.

4.) 26 Feb 2019 16:19:48
More chance of Solskjaer if he doesn't get the Man U job at the end of the season?

5.) 26 Feb 2019 22:29:56
Not Mouruniho for me horrible watching his teams how they set up and play. Marco Rose would be amazing imo.

6.) 26 Feb 2019 23:04:58
Murinho after the UEFA cup final vs Porto? We wouldn't have been happy with that appointment at his prime.

Clarke has earned a crack at it the hard way.
Rafa is the European expert and available and why not?
Lennon will endear himself with us all within 6 weeks.
What about Ranieri? I think that's who I'd like most. Sort of in the Tommy Burns mode.

7.) 27 Feb 2019 07:18:50
Ranieri! Yes! Dilly ding dilly dong!

8.) 28 Feb 2019 11:33:27
Larsson Hartson Sutton oh and Kennedy lol dream team for ten in a row.

05 Jan 2019 20:39:53
There has been too many incidents over past few years involving Beaton. He is incompetent and a cheat. There is no way even an amature league referee would think even 1 of the incidents in question was legit.

Hearing rumours he used to have a season ticket at Castle grey skull. Hopefully he gets his wings clipped for game and sent down a few leagues.

philtim88

1.) 06 Jan 2019 12:18:40
Royjac the board post our finances at AGMs etc. Go read it for yourself. £45mil.

Also people saying rangers signings won't win them the league

Or AEK we should have had enough to beat them.

Why are rangers the benchmark? They are terrible. We have no choice but to aim higher now.

Higher than the likes or rangers and AEK. This whole happy to scrape by is exactly the problem.

About time we tried to match our potential as a club.

Really looking forward to next old firm. I reckon we will take at least a 4-0 win. They are rotten and wheels will fall off at weekend when they face a half decent Hibs side away and then face Motherwell away. They will definitely drop points 🤭🤭🤭.

philtim88

1.) 17 Sep 2020 15:53:22
Admire your confidence Phil but any win would do me.

2.) 17 Sep 2020 15:54:02
Don't think it will be an easy game. We haven't started well and arguably have had an easier fixture list so far. They are playing reasonably well and Kent is actually looking like a decent player this year. I certainly won't be going into the game fully confident.

3.) 17 Sep 2020 15:55:16
Phil
Have you seen the size of the plaster on Morelos knee?
It’s the size of a 10 pence piece.
It only took over 5 minutes to get him off the park.
Biggest Drama Queen About.

4.) 17 Sep 2020 16:45:11
If we were playing the Sevs tomorrow and I had to bet a fiver on who would win, I don't know if I'd be betting on us at the moment. Just sayin HH.

5.) 17 Sep 2020 16:53:34
The big difference with them is what we are lacking at present; continuity in selection and formation making a settled side.
The sooner NL gets that sorted, we will be back to our best.

6.) 17 Sep 2020 17:04:46
right now I wouldn't bet on us to win against them, not because I think they are that much better than us but because I wouldn't trust Lennon to pick the right team or tactics to beat them.

7.) 17 Sep 2020 17:24:11
We haven’t set the heather alight yet will be a tough game when we play them no idea how you think we will take 4 off them.

8.) 17 Sep 2020 19:01:24
I'm the same mallythetally.

Lol buzzbomb. when I first heard about it, the commentators were making it sound as though it was serious lol.

9.) 17 Sep 2020 19:02:19
Apologies campsiebhoy for having an opinion.

10.) 17 Sep 2020 22:20:50
Not at all Phil that’s what it’s all about but what do you base it on? We have been rotten and struggled toget going conceded poor goals but you think we will win 4-0 at least my opinion is we won’t.

11.) 18 Sep 2020 00:37:23
Glasgow derby Phill Glasgow derby 🤣🤣🤣.

12.) 18 Sep 2020 00:46:59
Sevco would beat us right now, hone or away . they are easier on the eye and look more dangerous

So what if they struggle at Hibs, so would we! don't we always?

We need to improve
They don't fear us

I think we fear them.

13.) 18 Sep 2020 18:06:16
Lubomir, I didn’t think you would come out with the annual nonsense that we are faced early every season that Rangers2012 are going to beat Celtic in the forthcoming season . Since Rangers2012 crawled into the SPL we have had Celtic winning 11 trophies to the **** from Ibrox none . I don’t see any massive difference this season. Rangers2012 might win one game against us all season, but no shift in power .
The only thing Celtic fans have to do is get behind the whole Celtic team and support and encourage the whole team .

28 Aug 2020 19:11:40
Noticed over on darkside a couple of sevconians were missing me, implying that I was hiding after result the other night. Kinda right once, I was hiding but not because result it was due to participating in one of the worst hangovers of my life. Was that ruff, spent all day crawling to toilet vomiting lol

I'm gutted about result in CL, honestly thought we would of won tie. We were allover them but end of the day, your club has never played at elite level of CL.

philtim88

1.) 28 Aug 2020 20:32:41
The Sevco fans have bullied SGL again.
They know he’s got a sensitive side.
Maybe it was one poll too many that’s knocked them over the edge.
Anyway he’s done another disappearing act.
We’ll know his new username when the polls start back up.

2.) 29 Aug 2020 03:46:17
Buzz Bomb the irony of SGL is he is not very loyal at all. Constantly changing name lol

Was actually going to you a favour mate. I've been trying to find a link to first old firm I went to. Early 90s, we won 2-1. Collins and payton scored for us and hateley scored for them. Special game for me, would appreciate any help.

12 Aug 2020 17:59:34
GIRUY Gordon Smith. Another sevconian putting his bit in that celtic should be punished lol. The club has done nothing wrong in both Griffiths and Bolongoli.

Griffiths wasn't even in squad and kept away from rest of team minute his party was exposed.

Bolongoli never said anything to anyone at club about going to Spain and only reason he was in squad for game was because he decepted club into leading them to believe he was eligible to play. At what point is this clubs fault? The only person at fault is bolongoli.

Also all bets are off it was a sevconian who took the photo in hope we would be docked points. Reason this will be the case is anyone with a genuine concern about CV would of contacted club to express concern and prevent situation.

philtim88

1.) 12 Aug 2020 18:27:00
It’s 100% bolingoli’s fault, absolutely no question but what I would like the club to do now is demand every one of the players passports therefor denying any reoccurrence, that said surely after this no player in the squad would be as stupid to do the same thing.

2.) 12 Aug 2020 18:27:59
They're forming a blue-queue phil; BFKB, The Daily Rag, Smith and others, trying to manoeuvre the situation into an SPFL intervention.
I expect nothing else from these charlatans and hypocrites; but I am absolutely raging with Boli for leaving us wide open to this posse.
Get him out the door, into a fast-black, onto a plane and let him isolate far, far away from Paradise.

3.) 12 Aug 2020 18:33:43
they seem to forget about sending half a squad out without being tested haha. yes their CLUB let players take to the field without testing them.

4.) 12 Aug 2020 18:48:43
F? Them . but the bottom line is our player our responsibility. . i wouldn't put up an argument if killie and st Mirren where awarded 3_0 victory and 3 points as a punishment to us .

5.) 12 Aug 2020 19:12:58
Deep river bhoy away you go! You cannot punish club for carrying out all procedures by the book and after Aberdeen players night out, strongly emphasising the importance of adhering to all the rules set out.

What else can club do? Hire a fleet of babysitters to watch over each player on their days off?

The club done everything they could and cannot be held accountable for bolongoli lies.

6.) 12 Aug 2020 19:23:56
Controversially, i think this could be the rocket fuel ( siege mentality effect) that we need to drive forward as the 10iar won't be delivered by the board flexing their financial muscle. Unless mistaken l, whatever way you cut it, we have created the cash pile in direct and indirect ways. Yes, every so often players perform beyond expectations like KT and dembele etc, but we provide the seed capital for investment and so CFC PLC failure to invest ( contrary to what fans would do) is a little difficult to justify, at least in part

That said, CFC now have no shortage of reasons to get physical and get serious and drive us on to 10iar.

7.) 12 Aug 2020 19:24:09
deep river bhoy the club are just as outraged as everybody. what is suppose to happen peter and lenny phone everybody after training. hi boli its peter lawell here just phoning to make sure you are home now don't be a naught bhoy and go out. if i was to go to Spain then go into my work without saying should my work be punished.

8.) 12 Aug 2020 19:40:27
UI, it is a culture thing, where there is respect it simply wouldn't happen

Let's have a pool of players that respect the jersey, respect us, and respect their fellow colleagues and pay masters

We bought him
He is our player
He tarnished the clubs reputation but he didn't sign himself did he?

Thus, the club is partly responsible. there is no escaping that.

He concluded that what he chose to do, no matter the peril he put us in, was a risk worth taking

That tells me that in 18 months he hasn't bought in to a respectful culture. maybe we don't have one or one that is rock solid

Who knows.

9.) 12 Aug 2020 19:56:09
All said and done IMO Something needs put in place for any future breaches of the rules by any one perhaps a ban on the player or players for a lengthy time to points deduction for clubs that know of the breach and don't deal with it. Not sure what rules to have but if nothing is put in place the game is in serious danger of ending sooner rather than later.

10.) 12 Aug 2020 20:34:17
Phil ui. corporate responsibility.

11.) 12 Aug 2020 20:55:51
He never said Celtic should be punished Phil.

12.) 12 Aug 2020 21:03:41
Alex Ferguson would know.

13.) 12 Aug 2020 21:05:01
Phil you're talking nonsense I'm afraid

Deep river boy beat me to it

He is our player
He is our choice to have as a player
He is there to be coached and influenced to make top class decisions

Whilst he wronged the club, we cannot find a walk around to avoid criticism

CFC have apologised unreservedly
CFC feel that reputational damage has been done

Never did CFC say " we cannot babysit the fella 24/ 7"

Your sentiment is flawed.

14.) 12 Aug 2020 22:33:06
The SPFL and SFA should have set a punishment level prior to the clubs coming back, surely they can't start creating a new punishment system because two clubs have failed the game. All the players should be find and suspended by there clubs and sent out to help the care system etc.

15.) 13 Aug 2020 02:05:22
They can't dock points unless its in the rules, they need to set a rule in place now, which in hindsight should've been set before a ball was kicked. Get it set now and punish players or clubs accordingly. If they don't then this will keep happening.

16.) 13 Aug 2020 07:03:16
so say we are docked the 3 points and its those 3 points that miss us out in the league this year. so 10 year of hard work by every one and the people who have been on the full 10 year journey have missed out on something they have worked on for a full 10 years and all the fans who have supported Celtic through there full life and waited for a moment like this miss out on it because boli went to Spain for a day without telling any body. away you lot go. the player should be hit hard and i mean hard in the pocket and it should be donated to charities.

17.) 13 Aug 2020 08:44:21
Lubomir perhaps next time read post before commenting. I never said CFC said anything about babysitting a player, I said it myself as a sarcastic response.

Sentiment is not flawed. Club done everything they could and legally could not do anymore. What else could they do? Confiscate his passport and then leave themselves open to legal disputes?

18.) 13 Aug 2020 10:04:45
Phil

Okay

You sound like a legal powerhouse so I'll quit while I'm ahead, I've already lapped you right enough

Do you watch suits?

Sevco are looking at Rich T McVitie to replace Fredo.
He’s another player that can’t handle the heat.

2.) 31 Jul 2020 19:54:08
Lol liked that one buzz bomb lol.

3.) 31 Jul 2020 20:53:42
They're being linked with Nsame from Young Boys. He was a striker I'd hoped we would go for as Edouards replacement.

He was apparently close to joining Monaco 18/ 19 season but they pulled plug on deal. They then had a change of heart and he told them where to go.

Defo think this is his last season with us, but as long as he is here to help us get the 10 is all that matters.

Chinks67 my defence of brown is based on opinion that any time he is injured, he needs a run of games to get to his best. I do think this is his last season, but at same time I do think he still has a lot to offer.

Keep the faith mate.

Chinks we are only 7 games into the season. We have the exact same amount of points and goals conceded as last season, which incidentally is 6 more points at same point in Rodgers last season. Last season sevco came out all guns firing and only dropped 3 points out of 7 games when we beat them and look what happened to them?

Last season people were writing broony off because of his sluggish start to season as usual and look what happened there? He was one of our best players. Same will happen this season.

Too many fans jumping the gun, it's only start of season!
