just a little question, with lots of us calling for lennon and some want lawell to go at the same time how would the fans think if DD put the club up for sale, would it be a welcomed move as some will think we would get someone to buy it that would invest more, or would it be bad news as we may get a MIKE ASHLEY or a CHARLIE GREEN.

15 years PL has had. Time for him to go after this season. I would go for a Director of Football with a fresh forward thinking outlook.

2.) 12 Nov 2020 12:56:54
Well you better hope he runs as tight a ship as pl or we might end up another sevco.

For as long as I can remember in Sir Robert Kelly's Day, Celtic have always been run with a cannot, cautious, economic tight reign.
In some ways it has held us back and frustrated ambition.
Historically, some periods of success seem to end from our own failings to build from strength and power; preferring to stand still or even deteriorate; as could happen here if allowed to?
Our European pedigree has obviously suffered immensely in recent years; showing proof of the complacency that arose from little or no domestic competition and the financial restraints imposed on all managers after MON after the fear of witnessing TRIFC 2012.
On the other hand the club has been run efficiently and profitably allowing a Five-star Stadium with improvements to surroundings, superb Training Complex and healthy bank balance and stock price.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever, given our resources, facilities and network why our club should not be able to really dominate in Scotland indefinitely; however, this season has shown cause for concern, frailties and failings within Celtic Park; on the pitch and at Boardroom level and it might be time for DD and PL to make some very big decisions or they will be remembered for all the wrong reasons - just like the previous manager.

should scott brown leave celtic?

1.) 18 Jan 2019 15:28:26
Definitely not in the January window. He will decide himself in the summer - after weighing up the options - where his future lies.

2.) 18 Jan 2019 18:35:33
We should not allow him to leave in January. That would be a major disruption to have half way through a season.

3.) 18 Jan 2019 23:00:44
He's our captain there's no way I'd let him go, what kind of captain would leave half way through the season.

they won't sign players and pay wages or fees in the current climate as there is no chance of even breaking even, next years could very well be the same.

he is a good player but far from a legend. very seldom lasted more than an hour before he was blowing out his arse, that and been injury prone means he is no more than a bit part player and celtic are better of with whatever money they get.

liked what i saw on utube of soro but just read his card count is pretty bad much worse than morelos, is it wise to take a chance on him or should we look for a more experienced player.

{Ed007's Note - In 102 games Soro has been booked 17 times and sent off 3 times for second bookable offences whereas Elduffalo has 195 games under his belt, been booked 45 times with 4 red cards for second bookable offence and 3 straight red cards. On what planet is Soro's record "much worse" than that?}

you can jesus wept all you like ed but some of his tackles when he lost the plot were career wrecking, go on and google or youtube his and fergusons, i also said i won't be booing him but i really hope its not him as going by his comments as a pundit and his abrasive manner half the team will be scared to play for him in case he stars on them. entitled to my opinion.

{Ed007's Note - So who's career did his tackle's wreck and who did he bully apart from opposition players on the park just like Brown done for years for us?}

i won't be booing him but i don't want a bully or someone with a thugish temper as manager of celtic and although he was a very good player its a toss up to see who was the biggest bully him or duncan ferguson.

{Ed007's Note - Jesus wept! 🤦‍♂️

i posted a while back that i thought the way we were going that it looked like dd had had enough of playing with his toy and was passing it on either to a family member or a buyer but finding a buyer in the current climate wouldn't be easy so it would probably stay in the family for now.
