Sadly we all knew hatate would be leaving in the summer. I think Brighton would suit him for a season or 2 before moving on but I've heard there's a couple teams from Spain and Germany that can't be discounted.

The blame game will go on for months. They will try and blame everyone outside Ibrox. We went into this hoping to improve and learn, which we have. We are not far off it, take our chances and stay tight we'll be OK. We are a work in progress. They went into it expecting to get to the final. Don't worry a friendly ref will help the deluded this weekend, bet we hear Tav scores penalty this weekend.

I will admit it's funny they lost but some off our fans are creaming their pants. We got knocked out the champions league but sevco got pumped out so it's fine is the mentality off some fans.
We should not be comparing ourselves to them, it was this attitude that held us back for years when rangers died. Fans were happy enough just to be better than them when we should have been out off sight going for 12 in a row this season.
Like I said it's funny I admit I had a laugh but I wouldn't celebrate it like some are doing.

I'm just happy to see them get what they deserve. They was lucky to get past PSV and knew a tough group they would get the kind of doing we've been ripped for off them when playing against the likes of PSG. Doesn't heal the disappointment for me as our group got away from us due to endless missed chances. We should be on the brink of getting out a tough group yet we're out with 2 games to spare. It's tough but it's all a learning curve, but from where we was under Lennon to now is some hell of an improvement.

We haven’t even won a game in Europe this season and have created new record of losing 7 games in a row at home in this competition.
Let’s be honest Real Madrid are the only top side in our group there’s nothing much between the rest of us so instead of worrying about how poor they have been we need to take a reality check as I genuinely thought we would have great chance to qualify out this group and at very worst would be a clear 3rd but again we are nowhere near it.
All this but we created lots of chances is great if other team don’t and they scrape a win but Leipzig scored 5 over 2 games, had 2 ruled out and missed at least 3 1on1’s with GK and we lost both games by 2 clear goals.
Against Real we lost by 3 clear goals at home even though their main man was taken off injured. This Real Madrid side are beatable at this stage every season just ask Sherif or Shahktar who despite losing the majority of their 1st team in summer and don’t even have a home ground in their own country were seconds away from beating them this year but still drew.
We are actually proud to have played well for an hour and losing 3-0 is that the depths we have fallen to now that when we lose 3 group games 8-1 on aggregate we say yeah but we created lots of chances as if the opposition scored every chance they got because on that logic we would have lost 5-2 to Real Madrid, 7-2 to Leipzig and 5-2 at CP.
We did deserve to beat Shahktar and that frustrates me that we didn’t but losing ourselves in the comp to a team that heap of Sh** KO this calender year then slagging them for getting pumped is embarrassing.

We have Jonny Kenny on the books, who’s in the same mound, both will have good careers ahead of them but they are not at our level.
Aron Connolly been capped for Ireland and this is no disrespect to the lad but we had a few injuries and cry offs, he’s not been involved much in the senior international squad for a season or 2 now.

If its kasper im happy. Knows tbe gaffer, speaks the language. Won stuff everywhere he's been. Except falkirk. he's an international quality player with experience you can't buy. Now the money needs to be spent on quality defensive reinforcementents. Left centre back / left back centre back. Give him a strong unit in front of him and he's organising them. Id alao like an improvement on mcgregor too. A real baller in midfield and a brawler too. A striker in the mould of lee Griffiths as well.

Im glad we haven't rushed the signings as its clear we have been waiting for our scouts to get a proper look at the 16 year Spanish lad on the telly box with a view to a loan to the development squad. i've heard advisors close to the plsyer are keen to make this happen as a Wednesday night at gretna is good for character.

Philphlop . I fully agree with u . As BR said he could have signed 9 players by last weekend . Despite what many fans may think, Celtic recruitment and Board have a really difficult task . Despite the fact that their are probably thousands of players, on the market or at least available to buy, the number that are suitable for Celtic are quite scarce . Obviously we don’t want to buy any player who isn’t going to improve our squad . There are very many who Celtic could sign who would realise their football ambitions when they became members of our first team squad . On the other hand their are many, who would be prepared to give everything to win titles with Celtic . This later group probably would probably turn out to be brilliant signings. .
Celtic could buy players who after a few weeks at Lennoxtown would decide they were too good for Celtic and cause dressing room disharmony.
Fans who think Celtic. should have hoovered up young talent playing in SPL, should realise that professional recruitment staff don’t consider these players good enough . Most fans on here and BR think we have far too many players not contributing anything or very little, and we need to move them on . We can’t get rid of them and we certainly don’t want to buy more young projects, who have played for a bit of a season in SPL . I am sure Sevco are buying them to add a bit of steel to their Ibrox games . Sevco can’t pay money for steel on and off the pitch.

I have to say game was less stressful than, the Scottish Cup final yesterday .
The crosses by Izzy especially in first half and Hoopers two goal strikes shows how hard professional footballers have to work to prevent crosses and shots that modern day players are prevented from making.

Schmeichel still got that mean streak. You could see he absolutely hated losing the goal. Kuhn was veet clinical and exactly what you want from a cutting in winger. His balls in were shsrp as well.

We might see bain filling a similar role you see the big english clubs deploy keepers in when they are still squadding in their 40s like the boy at manu now Heaton but been others happy to get paid be at a big club and rarely play.
