Looks like Jonny Hayes has confirmed on his instagram that he's away.

1.) 31 May 2020 17:30:12
Honest player not good enough IMO. Will be remembered for his goal at Greyskull. I will remember him for jumping the Advertising board at Hamilton with the game at 1 each. Good luck to him.

14 May 2020 13:10:45
Hi Ed, You may have cleared this up previously but is there substance to the whole Ajer wanting his agent to get him a transfer away? Or is it the usual speculation from our top stars at this time of year?

{Ed007's Note - I don't know what Ajer's told his agent and everything's up in the air throughout football just now but there will be plenty of interest in Ajer when the transfer window does open and it'll be serious numbers that could definitely turn his head. As usual it'll come down to what the player wants to do.}

1.) 14 May 2020 14:46:55
Cheers Ed it just seems like one of them rumours that isn't going away. If the fee being mentioned for him is true I can't see the club refusing it during this current situation. I'd much rather we sell Ajer if it meant not cashing in on Eoauard for another season.

{Ed007's Note - Before all this lockdown stuff I'd have said it would have been extremely difficult to keep a hold of Ajer, McGregor and Edouard this summer but nobody knows what's going to happen in the coming months imo.}

2.) 14 May 2020 14:55:28
The football fans I knocked around with in Norway when I lived there reckoned it was pretty well understood that Ajer fancied a crack at the Premier League in Engerland. That was 8 months ago or so, right enough.

3.) 14 May 2020 15:36:41
If he wants to go, he wants to go. If his agent has been talking to interested clubs then I'm sure club will have a list of replacements. Any deal should be on the basis any interested club signs bolingoli as well lol.

4.) 14 May 2020 18:38:05
He has a bit to go yet before he makes it to the very top.

5.) 15 May 2020 01:43:53
Personally think his development stalled this year. If its big money being offered for him I say sell.

6.) 15 May 2020 17:55:37
Hopefully they can do the 10 before moving on. Three tough players to replace but the club should be looking at around ยฃ75m for them. Brown will likely be hanging up his boots too so the squad will need a total rebuild.

7.) 15 May 2020 17:57:25
Maybe he's realised that Bubs and that's why he's looking to move now while there's still big clubs interested in him. Definitely agree his best football was under Rodgers.

10 Jan 2020 23:19:27
The DR are linking us with Tel Aviv striker Yonatan Cohen. We apparently had scouts at Mondays game and he impressed scoring 2 goals.

1.) 11 Jan 2020 11:17:44
Think he plays mostly wide and maybe he's who lenny was talking about the other day.

2.) 11 Jan 2020 11:41:50
I'm more excited with his name than I am with Klimala purely because he can play wide and up front. Maybe won't need to get 2 strikers now as he can cover up front while giving competition to Elyounoussi too.

3.) 11 Jan 2020 14:43:34
His YouTube highlights might actually be better than Shved's ๐Ÿ˜.

4.) 11 Jan 2020 15:41:57
We're in for a treat then keV.

5.) 11 Jan 2020 19:12:16
Although it's hard to judge some of these videos due to the calibre of the opposition, he's certainly good with both feet and could bring another option for deadball deliveries, something we have lacked since Griff was a regular in the first team or am I being unfair to the likes of Christie?

6.) 11 Jan 2020 19:36:32
You tube could me me look like a world beater.

7.) 11 Jan 2020 22:45:03
It couldn't do it for Amido Balde or Bayo tbf Kev.

8.) 11 Jan 2020 23:17:01
Like the treat we have been treated to From Shved so far.

13 Dec 2019 19:47:34
Sebastian Andersson of FC Union Berlin has been scouted as a potential transfer in January. Has scored 8 goals in 14 games this season in the Bundesliga.

1.) 14 Dec 2019 18:15:33
Thoughts on Sebastian Andersson Goals?

2.) 14 Dec 2019 20:17:00
Looks the part.

3.) 15 Dec 2019 09:24:23
Strong on and off the ball, knows how to get a header on target and in the net, leaps like a salmon, runs like a gazelle, the guy is the stuff of dreams. but then again so was Bayo.

4.) 15 Dec 2019 09:34:51
Looks dangerous could he be edouards replacement we need someone to push edouard not play second fiddle specially for 5 million.

5.) 15 Dec 2019 11:13:45
Do you think we can play 2 upfront?

6.) 15 Dec 2019 12:11:24
Being linked with another striker this morn.

12 Aug 2019 22:26:54
Story on Video Celts about us being interested in Robert Gumny. If we got him and Meling that would sort both postions out.

1.) 13 Aug 2019 06:14:40
Iโ€™d be buzzing if we got both ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ.

2.) 13 Aug 2019 06:36:22
Have to admit I'd be really happy about both these guys coming in.

3.) 13 Aug 2019 09:12:05
For me that would be the defence sorted.

4.) 13 Aug 2019 09:29:06
I don't watch other football just celtic but that lb for rosenborg really stood out anytime we played them.

5.) 13 Aug 2019 09:36:09
We've been linked with him for about 4 years and both i g seems to happen btw would meling be cup tied for Prague games presuming we make it.

6.) 13 Aug 2019 13:16:25
Fingers crossed this is true. Can't see that amount being spent to bring in both.

Celtic Player Sightings page entitled, Might take a while to memorize all of this for next season

21 Feb 2020 15:03:29
Depending on injuries and if Soro gets a game weekend I'd go with this team for Thursday

Frimpong Jullien Ajer Boli
Soro McGregor Ntcham
Forrest Edouard Elyounoussi.

1.) 21 Feb 2020 15:29:13
I'd switch back to the 3-5-2.

2.) 21 Feb 2020 15:41:30
Aggressive but might take them by surprise to go all out for the win.

3.) 21 Feb 2020 16:31:16
4-2-3-1 let them chase the game, A 3-5-2 is pretty much dependant on leigh being fit anyway but don't know how he is. If brown is out then go with 2 holding of ntcham and callum with rogic in the 10.Rogic more than capable of playing in there with 2 wide and eddie up top.

4.) 21 Feb 2020 16:39:11
I would go with 3-5-2 against Killie. In the away fixture Celtic had close to 20 shots at goal on a pitch we usually struggle with. It was purely down to the formation and Killie couldnโ€™t get near us. I would use Frimpong and Forrest as wing backs.
Jozo Jullian Ajar
Frimpong Ntcham Calmac Christie Forrest
Edouard. Griffiths.

5.) 21 Feb 2020 17:18:39
Would play forrest on right and elyounoussi on left drop frimpong.

6.) 21 Feb 2020 21:12:42
My team for Thursday, allowing for injuries being okay

Elhamed Simunovic Julien Taylor
Brown McGregor
Forrest Ntcham Elyounoussi

Hope Elhamed gets a game on Sunday and would like to see Soro at some point as well.

{Ed007's Note - Elhamed isn't even in the squad for Sunday.}

7.) 21 Feb 2020 22:49:31
Pains me to say it but Boli is hopeless and the worst of the 3 left back options, he canโ€™t defend and is caught wrong side all the time, I can see why heโ€™s out of favour .

8.) 22 Feb 2020 14:34:04
Bravetart86, have u seen Soro play? How u have him starting on Thursday is a strange call given he hasn't even made a squad yet.

16 Feb 2020 12:51:28
Poor 1st half Aberdeen exploiting the weakness in the 3-5-2 formation as they're dominating the space behind the wing backs. Probably have to switch formation for the 2nd half.

1.) 16 Feb 2020 12:58:14
We're giving them far to many silly free kicks and inviting pressure. time to boot some arses lenny.

2.) 16 Feb 2020 13:27:30
Windy conditions too yet they keep resorting to route one football hoofing it upfield and losing the ball.

3.) 16 Feb 2020 13:27:38
Playing terrible, lazy performance, passing has been shocking.

12 Feb 2020 22:12:31
Great result tonight and a lot of big performances. Taylor was pushing MOTM for me thought his link up play with McGregor looked good down the left, Calmac adds the pace that Taylor lacks. Good to see we are doing more damage from set pieces now also. Must say Jozo has hardly put a foot wrong since his return from injury too. A good night in all topped off with Kilmarnock doing us a turn. A few tricky games to navigate through now with Europa looming if we can get through those unscathed they may as well hand the trophy over early.

1.) 13 Feb 2020 00:53:24
Taylor was superb today. I'm really not a fan of Jozo but I agree he has been solid since his return. Let's hope he can stay injury free until the end of the season.

2.) 13 Feb 2020 13:32:29
Agree Bubs I'm not his biggest fan mainly due to him being injured all the time but hats off to him he's looked solid in this 3 at the back formation. Hopefully his last operation is the one that has finally sorted out his issues.

30 Jan 2020 15:11:24
Anyone on here know any sites where you can buy old retro shirts from? Ideally looking for the 1980 home shirt.

1.) 30 Jan 2020 15:38:33
Classic football tops or something like that. can't remember exactly what the sites called but its got most tops. Might be classic football shirts.

Worst post I've read on here in a long time. I take it the penalty just bounced off him as well? Agree some of their finishing was atrocious but give Forster some credit we was rubbish and he kept us in the game.

Forster is a must even if again it's on loan. We would need 2 CB if Ajer leaves especially if we continue with the 3-5-2 or at least have it as a back up option. Definitely need a LW and possibly a decent back up RW to push Forrest/ give him a rest as Shved hasn't kicked on. RB is a concern as we may end up short if Elhamed gets injured unless we promote O'Conner up to first team squad.

Thought it sounded suspect Lennon not mentioning Jozo getting a new contract sorted. He still had a year left with an option of a further year I'm sure has he released? Would love Meling as a senior LB but it'll be Hickey on a free. Not too sure about him as only time I've seen him play was when wee Karamoko have him a tough time. So a new CB and LB looks priority on top of a GK.

He might turn out to be a better player than McGinn wouldn't mind signing him and loaning him back to Aberdeen for the next season or 2 to keep him progressing and getting games as right now he wouldn't dislodge anyone in the team atm. By then Brown may be considering retirement.

{Ed007's Note - What if Ntcham moves on?}

The season we lost to Caley still bugs me but would have to say the late penalty miss from Samaras at Ibrox was what cost us that season.

Calmac can do that job. We still have Soro to show what he can do he looks a decent box to box player with plenty of drive. If Browns resting Calmac can pull the strings and either Soro, Ntcham and Christie can be the midfielders in beside him.

Lawwell back on board for the 10 I can already picture the conspiracy theories if we get cards overturned or Morelos gets appeals declined ๐Ÿ˜‚.

It would've been interesting to see what fixtures the split would've served up. Surely all of ours should've been at home and all the Rangers away. But they still would've caught us up even though they was floundering against the teams fighting relegation ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Wasn't the biggest fan of him playing LB but forgot he had a dislocated shoulder and was strapped up and put the shift in he did against Sevco. Wasn't always the best player but gave his all and always seemed to be the player kicked all over the park. Commendable attitude. With him and Moi off and likely Hickey coming in we definitely need a new LW as Mickey can't be trusted to be first choice with his injuries.
