I think he is highly rated at Barcelona. At this present time with MOR on the verge of being announced by Brighton I am not entirely fussed about this. Money has to be spent in the midfield. This can tie us over until next summer when it's a issue.

Left back and looks a bit of a unit. They see him as a long term investment so he must be decent.
Ed has there been issues around our negotiations around Beck. At 3 million that's a good deal imo.
Surely better to buy than a loan with no purchase option. Helping them develop their player.

Was reading a £2.5 million release clause but if that's the case id expect us to have that in the agreement. Good to the business done. Then to get benny barbie away for sensible money.
{Ed007's Note - This is a strange one, Alex Valle had an €8 million release clause and that was due to drop to €3m on August 1st - we could have bought him for €3m - and now he's signed a new 2-year deal at Barca and coming to us on loan for a year meaning this time next year he will be in the last year of his contract and up for sale or a new contract again.
My worry is that GT decides to run his contract down and come next summer we have no LB's at all if there isn't a chance to sign Valle.}

Online sources saying he has a £2.5m release clause which we can activate next summer. Only issue with that is every other team can activate it as well if he has a stormer. Good to get cover in either way and have some proper competition for Taylor.

The 1.3m loan fee is the wages I think Phliphlop, we pay that fee and it covers his wage for the season.

We have needed a capable LB to at least compete for the starting position for a number of years. From having Laxalt, Bollingolii and Bernabéi scouted and flailing.
I am all for loans to buy as it gives us a year to assess if the cost is worth it. I’d hoped that after the BS that ensued from not having an option to buy in Idah’s loan deal the club would have learned their lesson.
If there isn’t an option then we could be potentially going into the 25/ 26 season without a starting quality LB in our squad. Maybe young Anderson will be ready but there is no guarantees.
There will be a plethora of talented young LB’s loaded with talent and potential across the world. It’s really concerning that we haven’t been able to find any available for purchase in a number of years.

Fantastic result and performance yesterday. I know some "fans" would have preferred us to lose but thankfully that didn't happen. A brilliant season and good to see Idah and Khun each grab a brace yesterday that will do then the world of good. Now let's get through these next 4 leagues games and then the big one against the sheep to complete a world record 9th treble.

Brendan has our team playing in a system that helps each other to play well . Yesterday our players got the ball into area between Kuhn and opponents goals . Kuhn and Johnston created havoc and Kuhn got goals.
When most of our players play well, we can destroy opponents with our speed and quick passing, Saturday was one such game and a joy to watch .

Second half it only looked like one side was going to win. But a lapse and a fantastic finish from Igamane was a real gutter. You can talk about passages of play, shot stats possession etc etc but if one side wins and there's no real contoversies then that's that, really. Going 2-0 down is not the way I expected this game to go, and from there no matter who you are playing you're up against it. 'Better side' is up for debate but deserved winners, no. Sorry I'm not bhoy88.
