When is Furuhashi available to play?

Onceabhoy 2

1.) 21 Jul 2021 19:05:00
Hearts game.

2.) 21 Jul 2021 20:07:36
Cheers Rayman.

3.) 21 Jul 2021 20:32:13
No problem mate. Im no expert on these things but apparantly if you land in England you only have to isolate for 5 days as long as you record a negative test on the 5th day.
So the Starman and Hashi will be fine for 1st league game unless anyone or ed knows better?

4.) 21 Jul 2021 23:10:05
Raymond that's correct. Day 1 is the following day after he lands.

The positive tests are still mounting up - even though the vax roll-out is continuing and apparently half the people now hospitalized have had both jabs?
This seems to be acceptable because the death rate has fallen, but I worry (not only for the safety and survival of everyone) , but that the relaxation of restrictions will impact significantly on the season.
PS: Just read the Tokyo Olympics are in danger of cancellation.
Does anyone see another lockdown of sorts, to preserve NHS services and try to decrease C.V.? Really do not have much faith in either Governments these days btw.

Onceabhoy 2

1.) 20 Jul 2021 12:41:33
It’s going to be really tough if the jabs aren’t stopping C.V. Hopefully for most it might just be mild. Better to remain cautious I think.

2.) 20 Jul 2021 13:05:52
As long as Boris Carlof is in charge I can't see any other lockdown as it was before.

3.) 20 Jul 2021 16:31:43
OAB2 and Ged, as you'll be aware the vax roll out is to provide a high level of immunity to C.V. It doesn't prevent you from catching the C.V. but it should go a long way to ensuring that it doesn't kill you.

In this country, according to Public Health Scotland, figures published today;-
* Age 18-29 / 69% vaccinated
* Age 30-39 / 81% vaccinated
* Age 40-49 / 90% vaccinated
* Age 50-54 / 97% vaccinated
* Age 55-79 / 100% vaccinated
* Age 80+ / 99% vaccinated

As restrictions are relaxed there
Was always going to be an increase in cases, the important factor is that those individuals (if vaccinated) will not end up in hospital seriously ill or worse.

I doubt this or another other country in the world can afford another lock down whether for economic reasons or mental health reasons.

Going forward, I don't personally see the need to publish figures on C.V. cases every single day as we don't get daily updates on any other C.V., disease or sickness. If we did the changes are you wouldn't leave the house.

This is something as a species we will adapt to, as we have with the Flu, Ebola, various plagues and many others besides over the centuries.

As a by the by, the NHS in Scotland is on its knees. The Nurses are by and large burnt out, and they are now, in many cases, facing an almost impossible backlog of patients who's treatment has had to be put on hold in order to deal with this C.V.

I know this first hand and have seen the workload, the stress and the strain that this C.V. has put on them.

Keep our Nurses, Doctors and Scientists in your prayers because without them we're all Fecked. ☘🍀☘.

The Denmark sub Andreas Cornelius is a bulldozer and has got a great touch and control for a big yin.

Onceabhoy 2

1.) 26 Jun 2021 19:13:30
Denmark look a well drilled team. Any time wouldn't want to play them. And what they have been through has made them stronger. We should be looking at the Scandinavian market more. As TB said to me on Discord they are tailored made for our league.

2.) 26 Jun 2021 22:59:46
I was more impressed with the Austrian performance. They fought hard and were very unlucky not to win in 90 minutes.

3.) 27 Jun 2021 13:30:45
Sure he was one of the Welsh teams big signings but he flopped in English football.

23 Jun 2021 16:42:44
No idea why the Kilmarnock manager never gave James Forrest at least 45 minutes out of the three games, Especially when we were so obviously short of quality in the last third; but if his services are no longer required, I hope he decides to concentrate 100% on Celtic.

Onceabhoy 2

1.) 23 Jun 2021 16:58:59
Armstrong should have been subbed after 30 minutes and Turnbull brought on. I thought Forrest would get on and play the last 30 minutes but that's the descions that managers live and die by. Heres hoping Ange gets a good few quality experienced players in asap and get all the want away deadwood off the books.

2.) 23 Jun 2021 17:51:07
Why he played both them donkey's up front together is a mystery .

3.) 23 Jun 2021 18:47:49
DRB, agreed - those two are brutal. Severely lacking a goal threat, I'd bin them both and tell McBurnie he will never get another cap.

4.) 23 Jun 2021 19:43:11
I call him the Kilmarnock manager as that standard of football is what he will always acquire to. Very defensive and over cautious and the only reason we got a draw at Wembley (and celebrated it like winning the WC) , was due to the occasion, the adrenalin and pride. Dykes and Adams may well develop an understanding but their ability and technique will remain very average. He needs to open his eyes and examine better options in tactics, personnel and quality.

5.) 23 Jun 2021 20:45:36
They will understand the other is crap.

16 Jun 2021 18:13:36
Nothing to do with anything really; but one of my main doubts about the Lunar landings was the event 'shown' on terrestrial monochrome TV in 1969 claiming to beam pictures from 240,000 miles away, with audio link between Astronauts helmet mikes lol; and here we are in 2021, with state of the art digital, satellite, HD all-singing, all-dancing equipment and they can't show the Wales v Turkey game 2,500 miles away, without blackouts, frozen pixels and disjointed sound and visual coordination - ha ha ha.

Onceabhoy 2

{Ed033's Note - Right, firstly, what we see as the Moon can't be more than a few thousand miles away and it's not a solid rock, so you can't land on it. But that's why we have a Conspiracy site for the people who want to 'Wake Up' :)

6 minutes of pure truth:

1.) 16 Jun 2021 18:59:47
That's me told lol.

2.) 16 Jun 2021 19:23:31
Hold on until I get my tinfoil hat on 🤦🏽‍♂️.

3.) 16 Jun 2021 20:20:14
lawman you might learn a thing or two if you don't let the media and elite control how you think.

{Ed007's Note - Paul's messaged you mate.}

4.) 16 Jun 2021 20:30:17
Nowadays if anyone ever questions certain events past or present they are classed as a conspiracy nut. It's far better to ask questions and not accept what somebody on TV tells you is the truth.

5.) 16 Jun 2021 21:03:22
The world is not flat plain and simple.

{Ed033's Note - except nobody ever has to take into account curvature or any spin/movement of Earth for anything ever.

6.) 16 Jun 2021 21:44:25
If the moon landing was true, why hasn't any space agency been back? Its because they know the radiation levels are that high, no one would survive.

7.) 16 Jun 2021 23:48:19
That was one of the reasons US politicians were desperate to try and force Donald Trump out of White House from his first day, because he was wanting to declassify files relating to JFK murder.

8.) 17 Jun 2021 06:21:09
If Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon then who was filming him?

9.) 17 Jun 2021 08:38:43
And how come earth to the moon required massive launches, space rockets explosive take offs super powered engines etc but moon to earth they just sauntered back in that dopey wee pod thing🤔.

Aye, Those 4 worked out well and two even signed permanent deals. What about Janko, Blacket, Burke, Weah, Benkovic, Kenny, Laxalt, Duffy, Kazim Richards, Calvin Cole, Wakaso, Berget, Guidetti, Brozek, Kadoussi, Braffheid, Bauer and Arzani.

I take your point and sometimes it's an option, but how many loan players have we taken in the last ten years, then pursued them?
We will always make dodgy signings and have made some blunders, but a player under contract has only one 'master' to commit to.

Was hoping we had eventually learned hard lessons from loans.

Personally, I think he had his chance Ped and left us high n dry. Obviously not saying last season would have been different if he had stayed, but it did create a big problem that we still haven't fixed. He made his decision (twice) to plump for Southampton, so bye-bye.

We have been linked with several defenders this month and although some of it is speculation and guesswork, at least we are actually making things happen and I believe along with the prospect of playing for AP, a good result in Denmark, will encourage more good signings.

He will do just for me too and although we may struggle for some time until the rebuilding dust settles, the support must show faith and patience in his methods - even though it may take a wee while?

I hardly ever associate DD with Celtic, day-to-day as he appears almost as rarely as Halleys Comet and we have seen/ heard very little of him since the repercussions RD's defeat to Sevco at Hamden; apart from the time he condemned supporters for the Celtic Park protests.
Last season was the perfect opportunity for him to flex his financial muscle and address the important issues dragging the club and the team to it's knees, but he chose to watch and do nothing.
I get the impression Celtic is way down his list of priorities?

I cannot emphasize enough the need for patience and belief in the new manager and Chief Exec. Today was not a shock result, but a reminder of the huge job we have given ourselves through several years of complacency and steady deterioration from the Invincibles through to the nine-in-a-row and quadruple treble champions, to last seasons shambles and fall of an empire; which was not a hiccup or slump that can be bounced back from, but a cumulation that's seen us decline and slip from dominance to 2nd best.
I was fortunate enough to see two full decades of dominance, which both ended for one reason or another. Glory hunters, we are not, Celtic fans need to be faithful and supportive, pulling in the same direction with vocal encouragement and passion for the team, or we just look like the good time Charlies of smaller clubs.

Unfortunately the interest and desire has been generated by the support (for a wee while now) and I have not heard of any interest or intent from the club. Hope Dom and Ange read these pages?

It was a sharp reminder of how far we have slumped in two years and it will take a wee while to replace and regroup new players into an efficient and effective unit. Today was a big step-up in pre-season preparation and although we got a doing, it can only add weight to the manager's argument for quality recruitment as soon as possible. Obviously not the best preparation for Midgy-men and Hertz, but we all knew for many months, the mess we were in and what it will take.
