Rumours that French side Nice are ready to make an offer for Edouard. If so, I can't imagine it'll be anywhere near £20m. Just get him gone! If we only get, say £12m then we only have to give PSG £1.2m. Still a small profit, unhappy player away and wages freed up.

Yes it is a percentage and 1.2m would be correct of we received 12m for him. According to several reports PSG inserted a 40% sell on fee between the amount we paid and whatever we sell him for.
In that case we paid 9m and receive 12m leaving 3m profit, 40% would be 1.2m which would then be due to PSG.

I am still very confident that It will be 8 in a row for Glasgow Celtic, unfortunately, Celtic have not scored the goals required against Livingston, and Hibs, Celtic had chances against Livi but did not take them, Against Hibs we also had chances, Some players taking shots on goal when they could pass to someone in a better goal scoring position, French Eddie, is still a inexperienced forward, but In my opinion I Would play Weah against Kilmarnock, and play Rogic in place of Ntcham, Hayes at left back instead of Izzy, and I would play Sinclair on the Left, as he always has the potential to get a goal, Hibs played well yesterday, and if Hearts had played half as good on Saturday they might have made more of a game of it, or are Hearts saving themselves for the 18th and the 25 of May when they play Celtic.

we Have never once taken advantage over our rivals this season. It’s been nothing short of lucky at times and that’s not good enough. We don’t scored enough goals. We’ve had a terrible season considering we should be 20+ points in front of our closest rivals by this point. We’re going backwards. Don’t act like everything is in the bag because it is not. Just look at the games since the winter break after we brought in Weah and Burke.
Before BR walked out we had played 9 games in the league and cup and scored 26.
Since Lennon came in we have played 9 games and only scored 12.
We haven't scored more than 2 goals in any game except the semi against the Sheep and have had Three 0-0 draws.
Lennon said he wouldn't change anything but that is total horse rubbish, the first thing he did was drop the boys on loan and the performances have went back to the way they were before the winter break, although until Lennon came in we had won EVERY home game.
I can't believe people are still coming out with the "in Lennon we trust" crap.

Think Ntcham needs a run in the team ED we all know what he can do when he’s playing at his best. Arguably our second best midfielder. McGregor being first.
As for how we are playing I think the players need a rest. How many games have we played this season now? 60? With hardly any rotation and multiple injuries. Tough going for the lads and really need a break from it all. We better not mess this up.

Stubborn you say? Now that's a thing that is pretty important - and maybe a negative when you consider our own treatment of managers in the past - is that if he doesn't feel the club/board/president are on the same page as him he'll make it known and if things don't change he'll leave. Look at Lazio where he lasted 2 (TWO) days saying the Italians had broken promises and they were unable to recruit the players he wanted and he felt that the club weren't supportive during the transfer window. Before that he left Marseilles after clashing with the club's management/board and at Lille he was suspended after 13 games after clashing with the board again about his plans to replace their ageing players - think Chelsea when the likes of Terry and Lampard were on the decline but still held a lot power at the club.
He's a bit temperamental and eccentric but he is still one of the best coaches in the world and one of the biggest influences on the modern game. It's not going to happen but we can all dream 😞

Sounds like a great character ED that wants to do well wherever he goes. Shame that Directors etc tend to be obsessed with money on all fronts. He seems like he understands what the fans want and that’s important at a club like ours. But you could bet lawwell would never back him!

Just recently when I’ve seen them though he just seems to sit there when they leak goals, add to the fact he doesn’t seem to speak English may be a problem for us. {Ed001's Note - built Chile into the best team in South America from a tiny group of players, very few of which were even international level. Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal were potentially quite good before he worked with them and turned them into great players. He coaches players to be much better. He did win titles in Argentina and was their first ever manager to win the Olympics. The key thing is his coaching though, he is a fantastic coach, he produces fantastic football and improves average players into ones that can play at the highest level.}

I loved Martin O’Neill because he wanted to win Every single match, which included great away day friendly victories in England.
Martin gave Celtic our First Treble since 1969.
But I also loved Brendan Rodgers for the same reasons and Brendan gave Celtic a Double Treble and he had a Big hand in our Treble Treble.
Ange is definitely up there with Martin and Brendan because the players love to play for those managers.
Celtic fans only want 100% and that’s what we got under Martin and Brendan.
And that’s what we currently get under Ange.

Sensei Ange has been a revelation since coming in but one League Cup (admittedly the only one he could have won thus far) does not a MON make.
I believe if he continues his upward footballing trajectory with Celtic then he will be considered a demigod by some. He doesn't have to get trebles to achieve this status either IMHO.
I contend that he has assembled a team (with more players to come in next summer presumably) that has actually got me also feeling excited about our European chances - especially at Europa Cup level. I don't see this team as being capable of losing to the "also rans" that have knocked us out in previous CL qualifiers. Well, at least not without one hell of a fight.
I am intrigued as to how his team is going to compete in the inaugural Conference Cup. I think we can go far in that.
Best of all is that some Celtic players actually seem to playing with smiles on their faces.

Absolutely it’s all about opinions and I respect yours my friend.
It’s funny though how we all have the same cause at heart a love of Celtic but we all see things differently.
For me (Mo) Rodgers will always be the man who (1) jeopardised the 9 before the board surrendered the 10 (2) tried to take our entire backroom staff with him to our detriment at a crucial stage of the season (3) fed us $hite from day one with his love of Celtic (4) used us as a stepping stone to the pub league or would never have been here. He’s more English than Irish and has been there since he was 16 and (5) lied about Danny McGrain in his book which I’ve since burned (6) forever wasted a great Christmas song and (7) worse wasted a good hymn.

ED (Please) don't go affyer nut. This is an observation, not a criticism! Honest. What drew me to this site was the honesty, passion, humour etc from all the posters. I just feel that over the last wee while the podcast has kinda took over. PLEASE don't get me wrong. I agree with everyone that you do a BRILLIANT job on here and I love the fact you're a nice ghuy. not like some of them. I would just like to hear other folks thoughts. Podcasts. brill. but is this not our bread n butter? Much Love. HH.
{Ed007's Note - This isn't my my bread and butter though. I spend 10 - 12 hours a day, 7 days a week on these sites, I'm here on bank holidays, Christmas Day, New Years' day and get nothing for doing it - using internet my mum pays for us every month because even though my wife works full time, the government don't give a $hit about the disabled.
Go on other sites/forums/podcasts and they're pushing merch, paid subscriptions to access content, putting stuff behind paywalls using things like Patreon and just blatantly ask for money. I tried - and failed - to raise money for a decent PC for myself to help make better content, I (we?) was hoping that maybe folk would pitch in a couple of quid a month (the price of a pint) and as it mounts up it would help me AND Paul get better equipment like mics etc so that eventually we would be in a position to get paid advertising or sponsorship - even when we did that with Manscaped we didn't get enough sales to get on their partnership program - and to get a Youtube Partnership.
There's one poster that sends £10 on the last day of every month, I told him to stop as he was the only one doing it and he told me to do what I wanted with it so I spend that on stuff for the foodbank when I get it.
I look on this as a job - being stuck in the house all day would drive me up the wall if I didn't have this to do and the podcast is just an extension of the forum that hopefully eventually brings in enough money for me to tell the DWP to ram it and give Paul a bung as well for all his hard work.
And to be honest I advertise when we're doing a podcast 2 hours before we go live and then put them up when they're finished and people comment, I don't see how that it's taking over the forum and as long as Ed001 and Ed033 don't have a problem - whuch they don't - myself and the forum/podcast will continue the way it is.
I'm not going off my nut, just explaining the situation.}

Just to let you know I personally appreciate what you and the other boys put into this and the podcast, and I know I’m not alone in saying that …. This is me just properly catching up ed and paul are doing a great job along with all the other boys that are going on/ doing the podcast and saying it's taking over is laughable.

Rossco, I would never put anyone down for financially wanting to better themselves. If that, and playing for Bournemouth is what makes him happy, more than winning trophies and the prestige that comes with playing for Celtic, then so be it. No big loss. However, what really sticks in my throat is how people like him (And there are many) go about getting their move. Downing tools in such an important season etc. We all know the fella has talent but tbh I think we are better off without him, and his like. Happier dressing room these days, I would imagine.
