Rogic signs three year deal. Knew he wouldn't leave. Armstrong won't either.

1.) 02 Apr 2018 22:02:10
Sorry about this, it’s a wind up by some wag on Twitter.

2.) 03 Apr 2018 09:13:19
I doubt if we will secure both of them to be honest. Big Rogic will see out his time, unless he has a storming world cup, and move on he's an Aussie that's what they do. Check any bar in Covent Garden! Seriously i don't expect him to sign an extension.

Armstrong. Bright boy who might just feel the need for a new challenge, the law studies might actually help us here, but i think he would be very selective if he were to leave.

Having said that never discount the BR factor. There seems to be a real strong bond through this team right now so 1-2 big signings might sway it for them both.

3.) 04 Apr 2018 00:06:47
Rogic is certain to sign an extension, if he doesn't get a better offer elsewhere .
If a better offer comes in he will probably go.

27 Jan 2018 10:43:50
It seems that young Mousunda is coming for 18 months. If the latest reports are to be believed. I usually take these things with a pinch of crystal meth, but, I think this could be a runner.

This is the type of quality I think will lift us. I hope it's true.

1.) 27 Jan 2018 11:07:03
Think that will be the end off rgic, he'll b away in summer then tat gives us a year to find a replacement for musanda.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 11:16:00
Rogic is class and if anybody is leaving it will be Mcgreggir who isn't good enough to be in a team that holds it's own in Europe. Rogers is twice the player and it amazes me people talk about him leaving.

The one thing that could swing it that way is he us more likely to attract a bid than Callumn.

I hope Rogic stays.

3.) 27 Jan 2018 11:30:53
Not seen much of Mousonda But when came on for Chelsea the other week against Birghton he did look the part. Not normally a fan of loan deals but if it is 18 months then def a good signing. HH.

4.) 27 Jan 2018 11:44:43
Rogic is a far better player than McGregor, but unfortunately he's made out of Weetabix.

5.) 27 Jan 2018 11:53:18
Just need to dry him out on a bowl and he turns into the hardest substance known to humankind.

6.) 27 Jan 2018 12:36:48
Rogic has undoubted talent and ability, but has been injured far too often and misses far too much football.
Not only is he injury-prone, but his recovery time is far too long and as much as I rate him, we can't rely on him being fit and avail.
McGregor is only playing because Armstrong, Rogic and Roberts are not available and he has been very disappointing for weeks, although on his game he can contribute with a goal or two.

7.) 27 Jan 2018 12:49:26
See this rubbish McGregor is only play because other players are injured it's nonsense.
McGregor has played and scored at every level for Celtic.
Every team needs a player like McGregor. A utility man that will make sacrifices and play anywhere the team needs him to.
Always under rated by fans but loved by manager's.
He's not long ago been handed a four year contracted.
Yes rogic in a very good player but he is no use to us sitting in the stand. His time at Celtic must be running out.

8.) 27 Jan 2018 19:27:21
He’s made of weetabix 😂😂😂 brilliant! as good as Rogic is he needs to be fit to be of benefit to the team. What was abundantly clear is that McGregor is not the answer to AM position he’s neat and tidy but even he looks jaded. squad has stayed the same for years urgently needs freshened up so many players out injured the squad at present is winning games but barely and lack confidence to take the chances and really finish teams off!

26 Jan 2018 13:14:43
I see Rogers is talking about the absolute need to strengthen now in the Evening Times.

Get ready for a bit of activity lads.

Not long now. And not projects. Quality.

I hope for three, but will be happy with two.

1.) 26 Jan 2018 16:46:35
We can all talk about it MP.

2.) 27 Jan 2018 10:59:56
I hear you Jim, but, I absolutely believe we will do it. In fact, I'm not one for increasing bookies take gone pay, as every gambler is, but I would bet good money this will happen.

Don't get me wrong I have put a deposit down in a padded cell just in case we don't, but, it will happen mate.

05 Jan 2018 13:46:41
I'm hearing from a very unreliable source that Kim Sung Yuen is coming back to us from Swansea.

1.) 05 Jan 2018 14:37:41
Was it rogers who bought him at Swansea?

2.) 05 Jan 2018 15:18:08
No it was Michael Laudrup that bought him, although there were rumours Liverpool were looking at him too.

3.) 05 Jan 2018 15:35:23
Is that Ki Sung-Yuens sister.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 08:58:54
I read that article too. Wasn't any link other than he wants to leave and used to play for us. nowhere did it say that we were interested in him.

5.) 06 Jan 2018 10:14:46
My source was very unreliable indeed it would seem.

I never believed it anyway. The again I never believe any rumour regarding us.

Safer that way. :)

21 Aug 2017 18:47:22
Hearing the Cape Town team have announced the sale of the CB to us.

Reading Rogers thinks the slump in attacking form may last all season. That's the spirit.

1.) 22 Sep 2018 12:10:14
Magicpole, try reading or watching the whole interview instead of reacting to the media spin on what the manager said!

2.) 22 Sep 2018 12:14:03
If it’s not mind games to get the attacking players to sort themselves out then this is worrying.

3.) 22 Sep 2018 12:14:28
That's not exactly what he said MP, That's just what the papers want people to believe he said.
Whats he did say was.
“We haven’t been as dynamic as we have been in the last couple of years, It might be a season for us like that"

The media missed this bit out though.

"We will always find a way and try to find a solution to perform well because performing, for me, is very, very important, Being able to win and not give away much is important because that helps your confidence and you grow and grow from there. Will the dynamism return as results improve? Absolutely. ”.

4.) 22 Sep 2018 13:10:20
Unless it's a live interview; I would ALWAYS totally ignore or disregard anything offered as 'fact' or 'quote' by the hostile media in this country. They will print or 'report' slanted and biased interpretations/ speculation aimed purely at distraction and antagonism.

5.) 22 Sep 2018 14:47:50
Am just thankful he sees what we're seeing and it's an honest and accurate assessment. no point waxing lyrical because we've been rotten apart from sevco game. definetely miss wee paddy and Armstrong and anno they were injured a fair bit and eddy is really struggling for some reason, but it can only get better.

6.) 22 Sep 2018 22:06:57
It's obvious the negative gullible fans are the fans that give money to MSSM and pick up their negative views from our enemies, which is bad enough but these clowns try to spread the media nonsense.

31 Jul 2018 10:43:23
O see the Daily Ranger is focussing on our pitiful away record in Europe to give us a boost. They know that if we make the group stages and the bag of gold we will bury their team and are trying anything to prevent that happening.

We must live in the only country in Europe whose press don't want to be represented at the top table, unless it's the Loan Stars.

1.) 31 Jul 2018 12:49:03
It's always been that way - and long, long, long may it continue, we are a very unique, extremely successful and world famous club - despite the negative and disruptive media, the cheating, devious establishment and the conveyor belt of honest mistake merchants.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 19:34:38
The BBC had Edouarde, the buffalo and the fastest man in Scotland (Boyd) used in the same sentence to be top goal scorers this season.

3.) 31 Jul 2018 21:24:49
Why is that strange viking tim?

4.) 31 Jul 2018 20:40:40
OAB, me and you are old enough to know that these people dislike us for what we are and what we represent, like yourself i love it and lap it up, it just makes all the skelppings all the more sweeter, it will be even better for you mate coming from deepest loyalist Knights wood as you do lol.

20 Jul 2018 09:33:00
Boyata allegedly being offered £50k a week from some unamed club and Jozo also being tracked by Fenebarce. Meanwhile over at the Celtic transfer target operations room, a tray of donoughts is being delivered and they are settling down to watch Top Gun on Sky Movies, Tom Cruise season.

It's all go.

1.) 20 Jul 2018 10:26:32
That's a step up from the biscuit tin. at least they're rewarding thwmselves.

2.) 20 Jul 2018 10:33:40
Are we still believing this single fish that's around? No signings for signings sake that's a sevco thing.

3.) 20 Jul 2018 10:42:18
How can boyata be getting offered $50k a week from another club? I'm a wrong or but could a club not get in serious trouble for tapping up another club's player? As far as I'm aware he's not free to speak to other clubs until January or am I wrong?

4.) 20 Jul 2018 10:47:56
Every cloud.

5.) 20 Jul 2018 11:23:06
Irish yet right come on bhoys it's every other day the press have a Celtic player away it Kieran yesterday again and tomorrow it'll moussa or ntcham . don't believe a word of it.

6.) 20 Jul 2018 11:25:41
I can't believe for a minute Boyata's value and reputation have sky-rocketed after a month in Russia. I know BR rates him and has persevered with him after some howlers and shaky performances, but he sees potential in him and obviously rates him better than Simunovic, Commper and Eric - who he let go; but 50 grand a week? Are Sevco at the EBT game again ha ha.

7.) 20 Jul 2018 12:13:05
yer spot on fgjmarktwo the whole "signings for signings sake" excuse and calls for patience is nonsense.

clubs scout players all through the season but make out like we only start looking once the window opens.

We have needed certain positions sorted for the last 2 years and have had 2 years to find numerous targets for each positions.

So between that and our finances there is no excuse to not act earlier in the window.

8.) 20 Jul 2018 15:15:15
Panic buys won't happen under BR. A few quality players hopefully are added with more dead wood leaving. Heading for 8 in a row, Going for a treble treble, A young talented core group of players. Keep the faith!

11 Jul 2018 17:58:39
Edouard and Ntcham in a car accident. One man taken to hospital, hope they are ok

09 Jul 2018 17:58:51
Word on that street again saying we have moved ahead of Brazil 1970, for JOHN Terry. I hope they get him, it's about time they included a guy over the hill to all those world class rejects and loans to give us a chance.

1.) 10 Jul 2018 11:39:39
I'd sooner sign Terry Scott than John Terry.

Says who? Your assessment of what wil happen is the fifth version I've seen. A bit like religion, they can't all be right, but 5hey can all be wrong. Have you a source?

That isn't going to happen. I am more concerned that it's 15 days I to the window and we still haven't moved for at least one CB. probably haven't found one at £3m who will be loaned out in the summer. Absolutely pathetic. But, it's the way we roll.

Here we are halfway through the window, no CB's in yet. It's not as if we didn't know we needed two before the window. More about and hoping they can get a cheap option. We are here because we do the same every time.

I looked forward to watching the younger guys, see whstvthey could do turns out, as I feared, they're nowhere near good enough, and I include Johnson in that as long as he weighs 3stone. Powderpuff doesn't get close. Harper had some nice close control, but again, he showed nothing to suggest we will not have to sign strikers. He got cramp after 58 minutes, Ofaflex too looked nowhere near fit enough.

Welsh looked ok, Duffy was better, but when it mattered we fell in our arse again. Felt for Hazard but, again when it mattered found flapping. Even though I always thought our seemingly maniacal obsession with regressing would arrive. Still hard to take as we have basically allowed a deid club with no money to overtake us. 9 failures to qualify for the CL in a dozen years is Lawells legacy. He as well as our manager and everyone involved in recruitment need to k8ve on. This latest farce with Dubai requires the CEO to spend more time with his heated driveway and if he takes the bonus this year he has no shame.

Mickey has talent, but he is too weak and slight. He needs to bulk up like Pat and Christie. A breath knocks him over. He has been utterly woeful the last two games. Utterly woeful, he had a chance to stake a claim, but blew it. Until he gets stronger he's a boy down.

This is a day and a half. They better be ok to play Duffy, if that can ever he ok, or we will get hammered from all sides. And deserve to if they make an arse of the rules.

Anyway, come on the young team. Fight like. A defeat would be the tin hat of all tin hats.
