Hes there biggest asset since Lewis Ferguson who went for about the £3:5m mark so they are entitled to ask for what they think his value is, personally a think in the £4/ 5m mark would do it.

The price, as far as we, the supporters concerned is totally irrelevant. The Blair Bhoy is of no value at all, if we sign him for £1m and he doesn’t get near the ist team squad, a waste of a down payment £1m and a wage, and maybe keeping a young fellow away from training with ist team .
As far as Miovski is concerned. If we pay even £8 to £10 m and up to £20k in wages he is one of the buys of the century if he comes to us scores and assists in more than 25 goals per week season after season.
We should be highlighting players who will fit into our team and do a good job, the Boards responsibility is to make the supporters dream come through .
If we say a player is too expensive, surely we are letting Board off the hook . The shouldn’t be our role.

I just don’t know about Holm . I watched him very carefully playing under 21 against Ireland and although I was very impressed with his positioning sense and his ability to take the ball away from an opponent, I thought he was very lazy and unprofessional after he won ball, he usually gave a very short pass to a colleague but never attempted to make an angle or create a space to get ball returned . He stood out amongst all the other players on both teams and didn’t seem to have any desire to impress.

See Joey Dawson away back to Scunthorpe after contract expired . Bhoy was really unlucky injuries and had a further setback requiring more surgery . his last season played he scored 21 in 20 games for b team . no badmouthing club only saying positive of his time here . hope he's injury free and gets career back on track.

How a player’s form and fortunes can change . Even though Ewan Ferguson is fully fit, he was left on the ROI bench for 60 mins whilst Idah led the line well for whole 90 mins . Only a friendly against Sinegal but a decent workout .

Ed . re Liverpool game .0-0 at anyfield 2-2 Celtic park . it was a great game mcmanaman equalised with a about a minute to go . he turned somebody who was slow to him and never put in a challenge he then ran from his own half and scored from their point of view a great goal . though . why nobody halved him in two to stop him getting into the scoring position I'll never know . I was in main stand that night and unfortunately had a great view of it.

I'd say approximately 80 percent of our yearly transfer incomings are at best average to pure rotten with the rest being as good and the small percent being better. we say every season recruitment has to improve but it never does ie we've 6 centre backs and possibly only one of a really good standard.
