Ed do you think the rumours about Kyogo leaving could be true? Who do you reckon could be his replacement if he does leave?

BR seems to be giving Idah a few starts to see if he can get his game together and start scoring.
He got unfairly criticised after the last game but he did a lot of work coming back and winning us the ball. Not his job but he clearly wanted to be involved.
He does need game time but that leaves Kyogo out which is no great but I agree with Ed, I think Kyogo will go in the summer.

Poor idah struggling to impact game, when on ball was tidy but just can’t get involved enough and won’t sniff the chances out that kyogo does, thing is I think he scores more of the chances if he can get them .

Regarding transfers last night Brendan said Nothing at my end. I haven't spoken to Michael (Nicholson Ceo) recently. There has been a process in place to try and get players in but I have nothing to add to that
I thought he had a meeting during the week regarding transfers.

I am neither a negotiator nor a spokesman for B R, but I think haven’t spoken on Wednesday about his long meeting with M Nicholson, he is saying on Saturday night that he has nothing to add .
I can’t understand how he would, first of all have another meeting, as that would indicate panic and 2 nd what does anyone expect BR to say . He is not going to announce new signing (s) . Somewhere in the midst of USA is hardly venue to announce new signings for European club . What is the point in him saying they have started talking to a specific club about a specific player, as that only puts pressure on himself and club .
So, really BR had only a no comment, comment to make.

I saw that interview also and he left it that they were cracking on getting the players in that they want and he was improving the players we currently have.

Idah and Engles need to up their game. The 2 of them have 2 big price tags and expectations but have been underwhelming. We need a LW and midfield enforcer.

Steff, both these players are young and have hardly started more games on the bench than anything else.
Transfer fee's are not decided by the player who's being sold and I don't remember many complaints when we got the money we did for Edourd and Ajer when they were both in the last 6 months of their contracts ?.
Expectations of the fans need to be managed, these bhoys signed in the summer and will come good, but they need minutes and starts to establish any sort of consistent form.
Give them time ?

This is another scenario where players are being judged far too early. Kuhn was written off last season! Look how well he’s performed this season.

Celtic conceded 8 shots on target in our previous dead rubber 3-0 defeat to Sevco in May 2023.
A couple of days ago, Celtic conceded 9 shots on target at Ibrox.
The gap never closed after May 2023 and the current gap won’t decrease this time.
If anything I can see the gap increasing moving forward.
I seen those kind of performances and results from Rangers when they were miles ahead of Celtic in the mid 1990s.
It was our Cup Finals but it meant nothing apart from one day of celebrations.
If the Sevco fans want to build themselves up for another fall,
Then so be it because the Celtic fans have witnessed that annually for many years.

As always can’t argue with your stats…. They are always appreciated Buzz.
However, the way we were bullied and harassed off the ball on Thursday was most concerning. We looked disjointed and dispirited for most of the game.
Most worryingly they outplayed us with very basic tactics. Very similar to the fist half of the LCF. Let’s not also forget we were second best for long periods of the SCF back in May although most importantly we won.
iMHO our team struggle to deal with sustained aggression and speed.
Although a big backer of BR I am struggling to understand his continued backing of a player who struggles and gives the ball away regularly…. Often in dangerous positions…. Hatete.
Also, although Scales is a decent defender his playing out from the back is well below par. For a left sided player his technique is unusually poor. Even when our players deal with his pass I am left frustrated.
I am not panicking…. Yet, but I am struggling to get as relaxed as you.
Preserving with Scales and Hatete is a gamble. i do appreciate, especially, Hatete has played some great games and scored vital goals for us…. but he has lots more bad games that good. I would only give him pass marks in circa 30% of his outings for us. I don’t feel that’s enough.
Hopefully a refreshed team for tomorrow… should see us get a comfortable win.

From there isn't much of a gap to nothing between the teams How good they done etc. They played to the best of their abilities whilst we were quite poor yet still won the Cup! It surely is the hope that kills them! All their journalists are spewing out the Baldermorts penalty gripe. Its wonderful reading their pain today. Only 17 days till Baldermorts day of reckoning from 50,000 apoplectic fans when we bring our A game to Helmsdeep and go 14 points clear. A great start to the festive season seeing and listening to irate bears and their cubs in full meltdown.

AP had a convincing head to head ratio, while BR has a fabulous combined record against them, Whether the score=line is close - or in several cases not, their media will always build them up for a fall time and time again. One day they might win and they will claim to have told you so, but as long as we keep building and improving the team/ squad, I am happy to wait.

There won't be any complacency or wrong attitude. Were going full of confidence and if we bring our A game we should win. Never overly confident and nervy but today no nerves. Just patiently waiting for it to start and go for them from the first whistle.
