If a player is coming in on a free then wages shouldn't be that much of a problem.
Offer them what we would have paid for a transfer, say £4-5m as a signing bonus broken down over the length of the contract and say £35k a week.
What others team will also guarantee CL football.

There is no such thing as a free lunch .
There is no such thing as a player coming in free either .
The so called free transfer changes from a lump sum paid to club holding his registration before it expires to a lump sum demanded by agent for player who is not registered to any club . Depending on individual player there may not be a big difference in what a club would demand with less than a year left on contract and what the player who has no contract wants.

Am actually upset that Oh is leaving on a permanent tbh.
I have been a fan of his since he arrived. For the amount of game time he's had his goal rate is good. I really believe there is a player there and we will be kicking ourselves in a few years time.
