Read a report today that Cameron Harper may go to the MLS This window - New York Red Bulls.

1.) 16 Jan 2021 16:39:30
The boy is going home as he isn't getting the chance here.

10 Jan 2021 10:24:26
Moussa Dembele apparently close to agreeing a loan move to Athletico Madrid.

06 Nov 2020 07:14:07
Too many bad points to list so far this season from Lennon right through this 'team'. 'Celtic jersey's are not for second best' - they managed to make a mockery of that famous quote last night.

1.) 06 Nov 2020 15:33:28
The bookies make former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe the 11/ 10 favourite to replace Neil Lennon as the new Celtic manager.
Very short odds.

2.) 06 Nov 2020 17:05:03
What odds on Pochetino ha ha.

3.) 06 Nov 2020 18:33:59
Pochettino looked out for 2 European clubs scores growing up in Argentina.
One was Celtic and the other I think was AC. Milan.
For that reason he might be willing to come for 6 months whilst he is looking for a job in a top league.

4.) 06 Nov 2020 18:42:41
Buzz I literally think there is no chance of him coming anywhere near Scotland. He'll get the Man U job when the eventually wisen up and punt Ole. Anyone think Ole would do a job here?

5.) 06 Nov 2020 18:45:20
But what colour is his subbuteo set.

6.) 06 Nov 2020 18:49:12
Your right but I can always dream. 😂.

7.) 06 Nov 2020 19:04:12
Do tell Phil.

8.) 06 Nov 2020 22:10:15
Buzz, Pochettino is 3/ 10 to be next Man U manager so we might up against it 😂.

9.) 07 Nov 2020 10:12:26
I have stated on here before I think I would take Eddie Howe in a minute. From what I have read on pine forums he had Bournemouth play good attractive football I don't think wages would be a problem as I think The Rat was one of the highest paid managers in Britain. I hope we do go for him if he did indeed have Bournemouth playing good attractive football. Because imo Lennon is done and when the camera focused on him on Thursday night he looked like he was done. We need a new manager with new ideas and to send a message out to the rest of the league that WE ARE CELTIC and we won't accept second best. We we need a massive feel good injection and we need it now. So come on Desmond and Peter get the finger out and get us Eddie Howe asap.

10.) 07 Nov 2020 12:02:58
Dont know how i feel about Howe although he would be better than Lennon. In the last 2 seasons at Bournemouth they were conceding goals for fun and paid some decent money for utter crap players.

11.) 07 Nov 2020 19:36:14
But to be fair Dc most clubs in the ELL pay decent money and more and a lot of them are crap. Duffy was getting paid 40k a week and not playing.

12.) 07 Nov 2020 20:32:59
If it’s a short term solution to give the Bhoys a boost I would go for Martin O Neill and Roy Keane as his assistant. Good cop, bad cop combo.

13.) 07 Nov 2020 21:12:52
I just wish Lennon would resign or get sacked, I've never felt like this or said things like this before towards a celtic team but I honestly hope motherwell beat celtic tomorrow so the board don't have a choice but to get rid of him, he's stealing a wage and an absolute disgrace to the club.

14.) 08 Nov 2020 07:44:49
I am a Lenny supporter and believe that he will turn things around, that’s my opinion.
I wanted to comment on why Eddie Howe will never be Celtic manager.
At Bournemouth he had a Russian chairman/ benefactor, who had agreed to Howe’s demands for total control of the club. He managed everything fro the hiring of the team lady, commercial directors, marketing to signing players, firing players. He demanded this as part of him being there.
That will never happen at Celtic, we are not a small coastal club with 20k attendance, we are a world ranked club with a world ranked organization behind us.
Mr Desmond and Mr Lawell wouldn’t let him within a 100 miles of CP, he would be to troublesome for them and on the playing side his style of on the break football is not Celtic.

15.) 08 Nov 2020 10:39:00
Believe me after this years run in Europe getting beaten by a sparta reserve team we are not a force in Europe and things will only get worse if Lennon stays in charge. When big efe played for us he made loads of mistakes and the fans wanted him out myself included, big Duffy is making as many mistakes as him but people don't blame him. Duffy is mince and should be shown the door, we need a major feel good factor at the club because now it's just totally depressing our football is boring this season the players look unfit. I don't know what's happened since last season but something drastic must have happened because we can't go from playing great and all happy to this overnight Lawell and Desmond need to sort this now. I want lennon gone and I will never say otherwise he should never be in this job. He should do the honourable thing and resign but he won't and I think that's unfair to the fans that stumped up in record numbers to buy season books for this year when they can't even go to watch the club and the players and manager and even the board treat us with complete contempt by only going through the motions. I get its different with no fans there but the other side has no fans either the sooner this season is over the better or a new manager which ever comes first and I also think we need a total rebuilding job. Kennedy our defensive coach needs to go. We are conceding goals for fun, stevie Woods too. We need a complete overhaul and the sooner the better. Sorry for the rant but I am just so angry at our once great club. We are becoming a laughing stock.

16 Oct 2020 14:16:22
Apparently French Eddie trained today and will be assessed and Ajeti is looking good for tomorrow - fingers crossed.

1.) 16 Oct 2020 15:56:12
Edouard and Ajeti upfront would be a goalfest.

2.) 16 Oct 2020 16:48:41
Do you not agree that Celtic would always have said that, be it true or untrue?

3.) 16 Oct 2020 16:49:09
Obviously hope it's accurate.

4.) 16 Oct 2020 17:02:43
I'm more hoping Griffiths plays. I think his deliveries will make a massive difference. On the bright side, at least Christie won't be taking the corners and free kicks.

5.) 16 Oct 2020 17:18:36
Two strikers would be ideal and cause absolute havoc - as long as they got the proper service. Unfortunately, I reckon NL will be more cautious to start with anyway and we will start one up front.

6.) 16 Oct 2020 18:28:59
Henriks Tongue im of same opinion regarding Christie. Personally I think he has been off the pace this season bar a few goals.

7.) 16 Oct 2020 19:27:17
Agree Phil. I'm not too worried about him being missing. He frustrates me. Ajeti and Eddy are both great at holding the ball up and could work well together. My main worry is Lennon doing something mental haha.

8.) 17 Oct 2020 12:00:27
Goalfest? Klimala and moi? Hmmmm.

9.) 17 Oct 2020 13:20:54
Is Klimala and moi, eddy and ajeti?

10.) 17 Oct 2020 15:47:16
Phil, I don't get you. I'm saying that our goalfest hope was null and void after line up named chill

I wssmt getting at you.

12 Oct 2020 00:55:01
Elhamed feeling unwell and due to be tested Monday for C.V. Even with our squad this is beyond a joke.

1.) 12 Oct 2020 09:05:54
Fully agree Pedro. That's 4 players we will have lost due to this stupid international's. But yet any player involved from the other side had an injury all of a sudden. Bet they will all be fit for Saturday. Sorry but Celtic have to step in here now and say enough is enough.

Whatever may unfold at CP in the coming days, week's (month's) .

For any real change of direction at the club to take place, I think most of us agree that Peter Lawwell needs to go, after 17 years.

However, I think it's just as important that whomever replaces PL does not have the same passion to align our club with those over at Ibrox.

1.) 17 Jan 2021 19:08:42
Lennon, Kennedy, Strachan, bankier and lawell all need to go new fresh start because as of the summer at least 6-7 first team players will want to leave as well!

2.) 17 Jan 2021 19:24:27
I think I must have missed something about Bankier? Why should he leave?

3.) 17 Jan 2021 21:44:47
Sevconian here. Celtic have won 9 in a row and a historic quadruple treble under Peter lawell. Rangers are 20 points ahead, this season, but nothings won yet. Look at Lennon's current record v previous managers. He's doing well. Duffy's duff, but Celtic are actually doing ok. Lennon has lost the dressing room and brown is done. If yous draw or lose at livi, then everything is over.

17 Jan 2021 14:55:25
I'd make an approach to buy Lewis Ferguson from the Sheep in this window.

No matter who comes in, he can do a job and he'll increase in value.

1.) 17 Jan 2021 15:20:25
If he is in the £2m - £3m price range i would agree. But they wanted £10m for McKenna off us but settled for £5m. They will hang us out to dry with fee. Might do a job though as we need a bit of steel to replace Broony.

2.) 17 Jan 2021 15:28:17
We should be buying the best young Scottish players but god only knows what's going on behind the scenes. Hopefully change is in motion but no doubt NL will be here till the end of the season. Propaganda will appear the week before renewals. We need a manager who can come in and assess the squad and get the rebuild started asap. Fail to prepare Prepare to fail sums us up.

3.) 17 Jan 2021 15:43:33
Fully agree Pedro. Love to see him in as he has proven himself in the league. Especially in case we lose McGregor in the summer.

4.) 17 Jan 2021 16:25:55
There are a few players at Hibs who have caught my eye also.

16 Jan 2021 13:51:44
Max Meyer has just been released by Crystal Palace.
A promising future beckoned not so long ago, German, 25yrs old - worth a punt?

1.) 16 Jan 2021 14:33:42
I'm sure they were paying him about £170k per week.

2.) 16 Jan 2021 14:39:18
Pretty sure he was on about 180k a week or something. If he would take a drop to 12k a week it's a deal!

3.) 16 Jan 2021 17:28:50
Can't get a game for Palace.

4.) 16 Jan 2021 18:33:27
That's our level unfortunately. Sinclair couldn't get a game down south and ripped our league up. No epl starter would come to us now. Lower championship/ league one is where you will find starters that would come to Scotland.

16 Jan 2021 12:19:38
Hi Ed, how are you doing?

Is it true we've placed our entire Under 18 squad on furlough?

{Ed007's Note - I'm good thanks. Yes that's true.}

16 Jan 2021 12:00:24
Just an observation, talking to the missus this morning (as we do now and again) , and my wife, who's been a Nurse in the NHS for 28 yrs and works across all 3 hospital's in Lanarkshire said to me, in terms of C.V., right now we have more new cases and more deaths than we had last year when the country went into FULL lockdown.

I'm unsure how we can continue to operate in these circumstances.

No, it was me also JFP (we're turning into Jack and Victor) !

Buzz, did Willie, Paul and Raymond ever play together in the first team? I'm sure Willue and Paul did in the early 80's.

Absolutely JFP, Willie McStay talked a load of crap. Collins at least had a go at the youngsters on what they should be doing, day in - day out, to become 1st team players.

KT used as a great example - 'he signed when he was 7'
