{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure if there's any truth about interest in Diawara, we have spoke to LAFC & his agent about Bogusz but it looks like his club don't want to sell as they can't replace him with their transfer window being closed.
Kyogo's agent continues to try and engineer a move, Celtic have set their price and have told his agent that the price is higher if Spurs decide to make a move.}

So the solution to getting done at the back post due to greg being 5ft 9 is to find another 5ft 9 left back. thatll tick all the boxes?.
{Ed007's Note - The solution to that is have better CBs in the air and a GK that will command his box better and come off his line for the box.
There's 4 players involved in that weakness before the ball reaches the back post, the RB for allowing the cross to come in, the 2 CBs who neither track the ball or get into a position to attack it and the GK not commanding his area, especially the 6 yard box.

Some fans are hard to please. A 25yr old with 11 caps for a top dutch side and over 150 apps in a very good league. Cost Ajax £12m at one time. May have lost his way there but a lot of players have at ajax in the last couple of seasons as they have been way off by their standard.

IMO right back was worse than left back in terms of a poorly played position last season, lcb as good as scales was I think he was good compared to himself and took us all by surprise, scales as our ball carrier out defence our aerial commander or last line defence against a break wasn’t up to the quality we need and it showed, Greg Taylor needs competition, and needs rested at times, im not convinced by the i opinion it’s a problem area and needs replaced, a loan to buy player would be good shout with Taylor’s contract s.

We now have keeper who commands his box but need a quality LCB to support CCV and O'Shea is the one for me. Well worth 7 million if that's the price. Better on the ball than Scales who kills any momentum we have going forward and very uncomfortable against the high press.
Those 2 and Engel will be a very good window, so only another 15-20 million to spend ?.

Agree with you Mally, I'm not Greg's biggest fan but he's played more than well enough over the past 3 seasons to earn a new deal.
We need someone in to push him and/ or replace him.

He's only got a year left on his Man Utd deal so there was never any chance of him going to TRIFC on loan but it'll depend on how much Man Utd want for him but the lure of the CL could be vital, it's been said that the player wants to go to a team that plays European football.}

Playing for Man Utd am sure he must have a decent pedigree, a don’t know anything about the boy, is it a player of any interest to you Edd.
{Ed007's Note - There's no doubt the lad has great natural talent/ability - he came through Clairefontaine, the French FAs School of Excellence - but he is a bit rough round the edges and tactically naive at the top (Pub League) level although he done well out on loan at Birmingham where he "broke all sorts of records for distance covered & all that stuff" according to their manager John Eustace.

One story I read that I thought I'd share with you all about Christmas and football.
Every year since 2018, at a specified home match in December, Real Betis fans throw cuddly toys, kids dolls, teddy bears, action figures etc onto the pitch at half time.
The many thousands of toys are collected by the assembled stewards and volunteers, boxed up and distributed to local children's charities for underprivileged kids in Seville and the surrounding area, in time for Christmas ?.

the irony with KT is that for two seasons on the bounce he played more games than any other player in Europe (more than 60) , that was when he was with Celtic.
As soon as his name is mentioned all the talk is about his injuries but nobody mentions that he's averaged 30 games a season with Arsenal and played for Scotland inc a Euro's - GT watched the Euro's on the telly.
At 50% fit he's still a better player than the best version of Taylor every day of the week and twice on a Sunday ? IMO

I'd agree with that BuzzBomb.
GT should be aiming to get as good a hike in pay for his next contract as is possible. If he does, I doubt he'll be paying his trade in Glasgow.
At international level GT has two players ahead of him.
At club level, you can argue that had our scouting been better prior to BR coming back GT would be on the bench, nonetheless, he's done well but BR wants better than Greg at LB.
