Henke when team is on top its relatively easy to win when playing well, but it takes resolute and determine team to win when opponents are trying to battle and bully us especially in second half . Today as a team and subs they were not going to be beaten.

Des, we were far too sloppy. Things that I and many others have been worried about, that have been hidden lately, caused issues today. A back 4 that aren't ball players, two wingers that aren't as effective as we should be and a general feeling that we aren't very physical. That wee trick thwy were trying at corners gave me the fear and not for a needless push by Raskin could have cost us.
Don't want to complain too much though. We all know what needs to be improved, onwards and upwards. Hun tears to wash down the hushburger and finished off with jelly and ice cream. Another weekend of celebrations.

Just watched highlights and surely Sky can't keep employing Kenny Miller for reasons other than comedy. What an absolute throbber. Even the staunchest recognise that it's a red card in today's game. According to Kenny the decision was "incredible".

I didn't offer what my dealership wanted for my car. If that makes me a cheapskate then so be it, I ended up with the car and for less than I was originally quoted. That's just business and it's what the vast majority (tempted to say every) of clubs will do when agreeing a transfer fee. Maybe with all the millions in the bank we could just offer more than what a selling club wants, we wouldn't be cheapskates then.

It's a bit of an indictment on our transfer strategy when we yearn for several players that left, to come back. I have no idea what level Wanyama is at these days but that's certainly a type of player I'd like us to sign.

I was going to make the same point as Ed007 before scrolling down. If you actually look at wages of a lot of good players in those leagues they aren't astronomical. There's a perception that they are created by some players on crazy money and to an extent some clubs that are crazy for what they pay certain players.
Take Bueno for example, looks decent enough from what I have seen. But Wolves' first choice, Ait-Nouri, is a wee left back I really rate and somebody I would like us to go for. Whether he wants to play for Celtic or not is another matter but on the aspect of wages, he earns 10k a week reportedly. We could tempt a player currently on 10k a week if we wanted.
{Ed007's Note - I sound like a broken record as I've been saying it for years but I have no problem with the amount of money Celtic spend, it's the way we spend it that pi$$es me off.}
