You couldn't make it up. We've had to listen on social media all day yesterday after beating us 7-1 in the group stages that they were back. They were going to run away with the league, cups and the Tennants sixes.
The city was blue again.

I had to laugh when it was mentioned the players had to be 35 years old and over but Andy Halliday is only 34.
The rule got changed to be 35 by January 1st and not when the Tournament was taking place 🙄
Changing the rules to suit but it made no difference in the end.

Its a tragic situation. The only way the fans can get rid of him would be to starve him out but that would involve decimating the club they love.

If we had a 3 or 4 year drop just to get rid of him, there is no guarantee of getting back to the top. Sevvies would have 3 or 4 years of trying to qualify for CL if we still have a route to that competition in that time.
It would be a chance for them to make money while we lost a lot.
Never going to happen, even an idiot wouldn't go that route.

Whether you agree with the protest or not, Celtic FC (Desmonds) statement is pretty damning. Cutting off all correspondence with the collective has just played right into their hands.
They will see themselves even more untouchable now. We are now entering a new dark period for Celtic as any notion for change at the top is gone.

While I do not approve of the "tennis balls revolt" it has obviously annoyed Mr Desmond, he has ignored us Celtic fans for months, yet a few tennis balls spoiling his golf has him raging. The silly guy does not realise what his angry reaction has started, as the fans know it annoys him, EVERY time now he is playing in public out will come the tennis balls, he is lucky it could have been BEACH BALLS.

I honestly never thought we would go back to a time like the Kelly's and White's where people out of there depth are hanging on to power in the boardroom.
But here we are, only this time it's worse.

If DD approves cuts, bans, sanctions of the fans or/ and activities related to the golf issue, would he be doing it for the betterment of Celtic FC or to maintain his ego?
Falling attendances, share price drop and reduced income must be making their mark and his embarrassment in World football must be taking a hit.
There's a difference between pig-headedness and being a major influence at a football club. If he's in it for the long haul then his standing in the sport is going to diminish along with his investments - and it may bring Celtic's repute down to a whole new level.

The thing I don't understand is why would a demonstration on a golf course have anything to do with statements about behaviour from a football club? If DD, for an example, went into Tesco and did his shopping and there was a demonstration in the store why would it have anything to do with Celtic?
If the golf course or Tesco have an issue then they should be dealing with it - not someone from an entirely different entity. Just because it irked DD's ego, it shouldn't have anything to do with Celtic.
