Let’s not kid ourselves on, we all know our treble will be on back pages and online pages alongside takeover news, and we will be told how our rivals “are back” except proper this time, time to get Brendan signed up, match any investment and make the so called investors see what they really have bought into cos it’ won’t take long for them to lose, chant hate towards there own, demand more and ultimately come second all over again.

It’s the take over, even though there may be nothing concrete to report, these people have to prepare the ammunition for SMSM to fill their front pages and the whole sports section with the Sevco takeover, even by SF 49 ( ers) .
The gullible Rangers2012 fans think that the SF are going to build a new transfer war crest, if not for this summer, then for the next window . Even if UEFA fair play permitted SF may not be interested in splashing the cash, league position may be meaningless, but annual profit may be most important.

They're absolutely desparate that we don't get to 56 before them that they're looking at a takeover, possibly league reconstruction -anything to stop them clinging to the tag of second best.
If there is a takeover the money won't be spent on buying players - would you give the money to a recruitment team to squander on the dross they have brought in? No, the money would be used to shore up the balance sheet to make it attractive to investors. Then when it's time for recruitment it will be too late - they WILL be second best as we'll be having the 56 before them.

It will be a real disaster and heads need to role if despite how much they yearn off and desire 56, there is no chance at all that they get 56 before us . After winning 13 out of the last 14 SPL titles, surely to God we can win this years SPL, plus next years and we have 56 titles won to sevco’s one lone title.

As for any potential take-over:- Any organization or Company that has no problem with Sectarianism, religious intolerance, tax evasion, corruption and cheating, clearly has no integrity or moral values.

Personally I think just stay focused on being Celtic, constantly looking to improve, my view on a takeover is embrace the challenge but ultimately ensure we win,
Will be interesting to see how anything over there gets financed, these people don’t just use money from there back pockets and generally anything spent is expected returned with interest, with the numbers being touted only years of consistent success similar to our current run would come close to delivering any returns wether via player trading or European money so for me I see them getting odd success but ultimately having to live within means and having to service a debt to there own owners.

I know there’s already been a debate, but if we go get any other player playing regularly as a sub for a top 2 prem team and regularly as sub for champions league semi finalist it would be greeted positively surely, kt if fit is going to be some signing, take the screen shot and shoot me down if he’s not, and he’s a free agent.

I also think Taylor proved yesterday that he could still be an important member of our squad - although he would much prefer first choice. I was also delighted for Tony Ralston who sits patiently week after week and very rarely let's us down when required.

For remainder of season (league) I think every game we should see nawrocki, ralston, idah start, ……. from there I think Kuhn jota and meada should be constantly rotated as should reo Engels and Bernardo. McGowan Yang should continue to be first subs 60 min mark, at left back I feel schlupp has covered as required I’d like to see a youngster get some game time, real shame about Cummings as this potentially would have been his time to shine.

I trust Brendan to win Celtic another Treble.
We peaked earlier in the season when it was needed the most.
The same has happened with other Celtic Managers over the years.
I’m sure Brendan will still get the job done to make it 12 successful domestic trophies from 13 as the Celtic Managers.

Youth players won't get a chance to shine . if Lennon miller was in our youths would he have got a chance.? I seriously doubt it . we should just scrap the whole youth set up and buy young players after they've been giving a chance at other spl clubs.

Maybe our Board should give BR a 10 mths rolling contract, Let him take time off from Mid March to Mid May and return in June to oversee our transfers in and out . He obviously isn’t wanted from Mid March as he would only play the players who fought so wonderfully for club 3 games a week from August until end of year won LCup and got SPL won with many matches to spare.
A great advantage in addition to not allowing as much game time to our best players by putting BR on his annual 2 month gardening leave, we wouldn’t have BR having the recognition of winning regular trebles and so that wouldn’t be obnoxious to some who obviously cannot tolerate BR success.

Winning away isn’t always easy or pretty, this season we’ve turned up when required and in a great place for a treble, think Brs correct regarding the mentality, but yest we had like 9/ 26 shots on target and were caught offside I think I saw once (yes just once) we didn’t do enough clinically up top, I don’t think we should be very worried to be honest.

A couple of bumps in the road is expected when Celtic are so far ahead.

I agree Buzz…. Some of the reaction since the game yesterday has been a bit OTT. A complete rebuild in the summer!? Do me a favour . 3 or 4 out and 4 or 5 in to freshen up and add more quality.
One observation though from yesterday… BR was quick (and correct) to criticise the attitude of some of his players, but surely part of his remit is to shape and influence their attitude on match days…. I am a fan of his but he is not bullet proof when things aren’t working well, indeed he is hugely accountable!

Celtic have enough points in the bag to win the SPL. as Rangers2012 under the clueless Barry Ferguson and his BBC Scotland “coaches “ will continue to lose most of their domestic games .
However, BR nor Board or supporters are going to accept Celtic’s halfhearted approach to remaining SPL games.

I’ve really criticised the club several of last few windows, with hindsight I was wrong, so il reserve judgement, kyogo didn’t want to play for us, we sell our club as an opportunity that means when they want to go if a price is met they get to go, we don’t need a striker right now idah will score as will meada as cf ( his true position) , Forrest injured and palma gone we are weaker out wide even with jota, we also need a lb, let’s see what happens before end window.

I like the signings if they happen jota better than Yang and palma, will definitely challenge Maeda as a starter, tierney football wise is head and shoulders a top signing - if fit, but ed is also right, where the data driven signings like Kuhn and Reilly, it has to be a mix, if we sign a striker with semi decent scoring rate (as kyogo ain’t good) we’re better on paper fact .

Play for free til April easy - can a deal be structured in a way that he is paid via Rennes until rules don’t apply like a loan to buy deal where kyogo fee in instalments and jota wages come of last instalment? I’m no football deal expert or tax expert but I think they can get round this as it’s France to Scotland and not Saudi to uk direct.

It’s about correct use of players at certain times now, maeda is effective as a winger but I’d suggest jota is “as effective”, he was a striker no9 before Celtic, scored more goals than kyogo in that position in japan, and wether it’s a false 9 or not he’s preferred over kyogo, the fact is wether it’s kyogo Idah or meada as our 9 they all are ineffective for periods of the games as we just don’t play towards our striker, what seems to be evident is meada is getting on end of things bettter than Idah and kyogo managed, Rodgers also did have a look at him in the position when he first came in, for me it’s an amazing headache to have but one I think we’d rather have while 13 points clear, we should have brought in a striker no doubt, hopefully we do in summer, as good as meada is now we all know that’s current form and he hasn’t and won’t be prolific, him being so versatile over the front 3 is a bonus and we should just be happy to have the option, especially while we have in Adam idah what seems at times a disengaged player, maybe wrong but he seems disappointed at end of most games wether it’s in his performance or in his time on pitch I just don’t know but I think there’s a player there, but yet to see a starting player for Celtic which is expensive back up.
