Sunderland have been allocated 4,000 tickets for their away match against Torreense so I would expect Celtic to get the same when we visit in November.

Get I’m entering the realms of conspiracy theories but here goes. Could we even begin to consider our current regression by the politburo is to make us completely forget any European ambitions and get to a point where we see any domestic success as an ambition rather than the dominance we have/ had.
Everyone on this site is going round in circles trying to figure what the end game is for these people, they can’t all be incompetent because most have been successful in various fields.

It can’t all be about money because over the last 20 years the decisions made have compromised a phenomenal potential income. Do the board, the supporters and the wider football world just have wildly differing opinions as to what is deemed successful?
Nothing makes sense and the total lack of communication ( except for bland AI written snippets) doesn’t help.

No, it's all about the money. Problem is, they're conservative dinosaurs and rather than speculate by investing properly in the squad, gaining greater income, (CL) and player profits on sales, they'd rather do the minimum they think they can get away with, stockpile cash and hope for the best.

Although we are badly let down by those running Scottish football with their pathetic merchandising of our game, we are also badly let down by the lack of a football centric strategy by our own leadership. As a club we should still be a force in Europe and streets ahead of the domestic opposition but they choose to have us well below that standard as it requires a bit of risk taking.

As we sit today 9 months down the line still no permanent chairman and in the past few days we've had at least 3 statements released by Nicholson and Wilson. youd never know there was an AGM lurking around on the horizon. how any ( world class ) organisation can go 9 months plus with no permanent chairman is just ridiculous, and the only constant with these clowns at the helm is they clearly move at a sloths pace in EVERYTHING they do. from player recruitment to finding new board members and a new chairman. I genuinly wonder if these morons understand they're a baw hair away from another complete revolt from the fans and back to the protests etc of last season. Wilson has said numerous times in his 9 month temporary role as chairman to give them time to rectify mistakes of the past.

honest to God you see Riga mortise set it quicker than anything these halfwits try to achieve. and the biggest problem we have is they're all making a fortune out of Celtic and the fans who invest heavily season after season seem to be able to do nothing about it. stock piling all this cash and for what This rainy day crap they talk of. this not wanting to end up like that lot across in govan, its all nonsense. to continually go cap in hand to fans expecting them to throw cash unconditionally into the club and have no say on how its spent or if it'll ever be spent isn't acceptable and wouldn't be allowed to happen in any other business. I think the opposite is true, we have been trying to hard for euro success by buying in players instead of developing our youth and accepting a few years as also rans or worse untill we have a decent batch of players.

Who knows what DD is thinking just now? We know he loves money more than Celtic and he can probably see his stock value dwindling as the team regresses and income drops.

Maybe a new consortium buy-out would be his way out? He's had many other money making businesses which he sold for a huge profit. He may well do the same here if the offer is tempting enough.

Yes, he has an ego but I'm sure his financial well being and continuing to make prudent decisions will trump his ego. Surely he can see things are only going to get worse with him calling the shots? When you read the Wilson and Nicholson statements they talk of the player investment the ins and outs never mentioning the net profit, they talk od cl failure but never mention because of the lack of player investment, you couldn't mark their neck with a blow torch.

IMO this is a multifaceted question.
There is no doubt in my mind Mon didn’t get everything he wanted from the window… shock horror 🤷‍♂️ However he is no different from probably 99% of the professional football managers out there. My problem with him is what he is doing with those players at his disposal, or not as seems to be the case may be!
It’s no secret I did not want this appointment, thanks for last year but time to move on, can anyone really say last season under him was a joy to watch? I found it … for want of a better description. CRAP!
I could go on and on about where I see the failings and I suspect most of you on here have very similar opinions, but ultimately it gets us nowhere. I never bothered with Sunday I went out out with the missus and suffered a Sunday afternoon shopping 🙄 however this was preferable to the tripe that was probably served up by that shower of no use *****!
With regards the whispers of a takeover… if anyone really believes DD sell up or actively allow a hostile takeover, they haven’t really being paying attention… yes there are no doubt board members who feel a change would be a good thing… but are there really enough to make a difference… I suspect not, I imagine the slightest whiff of a revolution and DD will start to fire back and clean house.

The blame is all on the board. 10s of millions lost due not to being ready for CL. Recruitment a disaster, youth set up a joke. When was the last player coming through. Sell every player that a profit can be made on. Bank 10s of millions per year and the product on the park is weaker each season.

All these things are going to come to a head one day. Sadly its now.

MIB - Colby has done ok but let’s be realistic as it stands he is not a long term option for RB.

If he can improve a lot then it’s possible but if you compare him to Tierney when he came through there is a massive difference for me.

No one has come through in a long time that has become a main stay in the starting 11. You see players in all the top leagues playing at 16/ 17 and 18 yet we have nothing of note.

If we did our recruitment properly then it’s possible to blood youngsters in with a good quality of players around them.

Nicholson-The losses in the last week have been painful for us all.
