I am hoping the extra time performance last week has given the team some extra confidence
But if needs must I will take a scrappy 1 goal victory.

I remember before Rodgers came in the first time that there were loads of Celtic fans saying a ott brown was finished andthat he was over the hill. When Rodgers came in, he told brown that he was his main man. Rodgers changed the role brown played and this seemed to revitalise him and he drove the team on to many more successes.
Now we see the same happening with Callum McGregor, with many fans claiming he is finished and needs replaced. I personally still rate him but think he needs help in the midfield and perhaps a change in his role or our tactics. Hopefully our next manager can get the best out of him.

Regarding the UB lockout
From what I understand (yes not much lol) but surely our Board have the RIGHT to refuse entry to anyone or any group they think will cause trouble, after all they did it with the GB
So am I right in thinking that no matter what rule the SPFL come up with, we have Health and Safety rules in our favour so NO UB.
25 Apr 2026 14:41:16
You'd think so Tim.
25 Apr 2026 10:31:29
Buzz will keep me right here, but I think looking at squad for new season I am reasonably happy
Apart from the current players offered extensions, we have Jota, Johnston and Osmand all coming back from injury, then we have the loan players coming back perhaps Palma, Nawrocki who Rogers never gave a chance to and Welsh so 3 defenders to bolster team
There will also be loan players going out which should give our new manager room to bring in some of his own players
I am confident we will have a stronger squad next season HH.
25 Apr 2026 12:57:10
New manager in. a clear out. reboot start again.
25 Apr 2026 13:30:05
Will it be the same jota after a year out.
25 Apr 2026 14:54:48
I think Celtic need a complete clear out, at least for the Starting 11.
Can see Engels and Nygren being sold on.
Not really holding out for much hope of an improvement to be honest and if a new manager isn’t appointed the day after the season ends then It will give this board all the excuses needed for not spending in the summer.
25 Apr 2026 15:46:15
I expect Hatate Maeda Nawroki Palma Bernardo CCV Welsh Engles sold. All loanees gone. New manager to build a Spine to the team with more physical players brought in as we are far too lightweight in all positions. Plenty money available for a summer rebuild but God knows who will be brought in to run the football side of things.

For once the board show some balls, the sfa and the authorities let sevco and the onion brats away scotch free after the cup game that mob have git away with murder fir years, well done the board time sevco admitted they have a problem with the smurfs.
25 Apr 2026 11:36:50
Finally, a good decision by our feckless board. There's no way that rabble of Ultras should ever get near our staff and infrastructure. They have shown time and again they are dangerous extremists who can't even behave in their own stadium. We offered their Club a compromise and they spat the dummy out like the entitled brats that they are.
They will do the same to us next Season so we need to face the fact that the Derby's against the rotten mob will not have visiting support again.
Good riddance as far as I'm concerned. Never understood why any supporter could be bothered with all the garbage that goes with attending their midden. Paying £50+ for the early arrival, late departure and generally being treated like crap from Police Scotland and the stewards. It's not for me.
Let's see the SPFL's true colours here when they try to intervene. Celtic should tell them to bolt along with the Blue Room directors of the establishment klub.
25 Apr 2026 12:23:31
Ever since the (Don't mention the) liquidation and emergence of the new club TRIFC 2012, they have had the SFA and SPFL in their pocket. Whether the cryptic and sinister 5-way-agreement gave them unlimited power and untouchability we will never know.
However, what we do know is that over the past few years when Celtic have played at their lair, we have had bottles and glass thrown at our players and staff, missiles striking our players during the taking of corners and thro-ins and that all-out attack by masked mutants.
Only in Scotland would this be tolerated, nae encouraged by the constabulary, government and football associations. If even one of these incidents had happened elsewhere in the world there would have been an outcry with recriminations and punishment. Sectarianism will never die while the bigots call the shots.
25 Apr 2026 12:34:45
What gets me Mally us the media! And the way they use the Narrative to support Scotland's shame of a club, how many times is this going to happen, ratorical question.
25 Apr 2026 13:31:55
Incident after Incident Jamie goes unpunished how many of our staff have been assaulted glass flung at big joe engles hit by a coin the arsenal of weapons found in their stadium I could go on and on.
25 Apr 2026 15:59:01
The authorities can't do nothing! Health and Safety is paramount.
25 Apr 2026 07:20:07
In the last 17 Months Hibs have only lost 2 Home league games from their last 28 played.
Both Hibs defeats came this season against Celtic 2-1 and 1-0 against Sevco when they actually missed a last minute penalty to secure a Draw.
It will be interesting to see how Hearts and Celtic get on at Easter Road in the next 8 Days.
Hearts have lost 3 Home League games in their last 24 played and all defeats were last season.
Sevco have lost 3 Home League games from their last 22 league games at Ibrox.
Celtic have lost 3 League games from our 16 Home league matches this season.
25 Apr 2026 08:25:00
In the last 14 Months Motherwell have only lost to Falkirk (Twice) at Home in the League in their last 22 Home league matches.
Before that it was lowly Dundee last February.
Motherwell have only conceded 9 Home league goals this season in 17 games and Falkirk have scored 5 themselves.
The stats show our away games at Easter Road and Fir Park are going to be tough because both have strong home records.

"OH THERE WILL BE NO H. NS AT PARKHEAD" OR
"WHERE HAVE ALL THE CURRENTS GONE" OR
"CELTIC PARK WILL BE BEAR FREE" (MAYBE THEY COULD JOIN A UNION)
24 Apr 2026 18:54:18
Brilliant news Tim,
I had to laugh about the “sporting imbalance” which is right.
But what about the cheating sporting advantage the old Rangers gained for over a decade and there’s still no remorse.
It’s not the first time there would be an allocation imbalance because Sir David Murray locked the Celtic fans out in the 1990s in the last Derby fixture of the season.
24 Apr 2026 19:16:06
Descendants of Attila should never be allowed to enter Paradise.
Shut the gates forever. They are a blight on our dear green place.
24 Apr 2026 19:48:01
I’m sure Celtic have Won all our Glasgow Derby home games with No away supporters in the Stadium.
I think it’s 5 wins from 5 games.
24 Apr 2026 20:24:20
Good on the board for once, its the onion bears they don't want in and rightly so.
24 Apr 2026 20:36:38
Even Celtic minded pundits sook up to the Establishment by talking up the atmosphere. Who in their serious mind thinks one set of fans poisoning the place with their anti catholic bile makes for a 'great' atmosphere? Well done Celtic.
24 Apr 2026 20:46:51
The SPFL are setting up a committee who will look at their own Rule I27 which could force Celtic to give them their full allocation.
24 Apr 2026 21:14:35
There was nearly no green brigade either. The board like to ban ultras.
24 Apr 2026 22:49:12
This is the first thing the board has got right this season or sorry probably for the last few seasons. They should have never of let them back in as their behaviour for years has been shocking.
Yet their loving SM are still trying to spin the headlines too make us look bad.
shouldn't expect anything else a suppose.
Now let's go out the morra and pump Falkirk and get our shooing boots on for the last few games. Celtic for the double. HH.
24 Apr 2026 23:18:18
Buzz, remember Murray started all this back in the 90's? Banning our fans from the crumbledome for a reason I can't remember. Surely that set a precedent, however I know that the structure of Scottish football has changed.
Depends what we have signed off on. If we feel there is a threat to our support and staff then I think we have a good case. They have a damned cheek to talk about sporting imbalance. I hate them! ;
25 Apr 2026 07:12:39
It was because of broken seats, obviously Celtic Park was never damaged when they came, couldn't mark his neck with a blow torch.
25 Apr 2026 08:34:59
You’re right Mally,
Celtic scored an injury time winner about 6 Months previously on our last visit and seats were broken in the celebrations.
I remember being in the upper stand when Brian O’Neill scored the winner only a few days before going to Lisbon.
Rangers scored a fortunate huge deflected late goal when Murray locked us out of Ibrox in April 1994 in a 1-1 Draw.
That was the last goal Rangers scored that season when going for a Double Treble.
They failed to score in their last 3 League games and then they bottled the Double Treble when Dundee United Won the Cup Final 1-0.
24 Apr 2026 15:55:09
I just never learn
Got a horse tip today, my pal was quite keen on it and had already put £25 each way before he told me
I was not so keen because of it's big odds 33/ 1 when I saw it so I NEVER bet it
The horse BORN A REBEL was 2nd at 33/ 1 and my pal was quids in ME? I am still skint.
24 Apr 2026 14:41:54
Luke McCowan has also signed a contract extension until 2028.
I think Celtic took the option of an extra year.
There is also another option of a one year extension after 2028 with this new contract.
It’s a no brainer with him being Scottish for our European squad and Luke always has a goal in him.
24 Apr 2026 15:23:04
It’s a sad state of affairs when people are happy for mccowan scales and Forrest to be getting new contracts all should be out the door along with mcgregor Ralston hatate yang maeda ccv (injury prone) and pretty much every first team player apart from Johnson tierney engels if he isn’t sold and Donovan and Jota, nygren is off as well for a big profit it needs ripped up and started again there's nearly a full squad of players not even good enough to make a Celtic bench it’s a waste of money and places for younger better players or just players of better quality.
24 Apr 2026 15:44:31
I ve got an image of MON and which every board member deals with the contracts with a blind fold on picking names out of a hat for new contracts.
The new dawn begins at celtic, a new, progressive club, I smell s@#@e.
Seriously they must be having a laugh.
This all before the season tickets are launched.
24 Apr 2026 15:58:37
Those same players would have been sitting at least 7 points clear at the top of the table have a trophy in the cabinet and almost certain of a treble, had our incompetent board not employed a Clown from France for 6 weeks at a crucial time of the season.
24 Apr 2026 16:21:45
CELTIC FRANK
Hearing Ralston will be getting a new deal as well. Team next season is going to be a riot.
24 Apr 2026 16:52:54
Forrest and McCowan are only one extra year each.
Celtic are going to have a massive turnover of players in the next few transfer windows and it’s best to keep our Scottish players for our European squad in the meantime.
24 Apr 2026 17:01:25
Look these players and new contracts are worst of our problems, they make bench, they contribute as subs, we have multi million pound signings offering Nout, clear them out, spend properly,
Use these players to educate new signings.
24 Apr 2026 18:27:24
Although this season has been steeped in controversy, incompetence and mistakes, next season could be even worse - unless there are serious changes at EVERY level of Celtic FC.
This current granting of contracts to low profilers does nothing for my optimism or confidence in the way we are heading.
We have more serious player issues to resolve; including -fitting a revolving door for around a dozen temporary or permanent misfits.
Huge question marks over the fitness of Jota, CCV and the regularly missing AJ.
Some malcontents who apparently want to leave the club. An aging and somewhat ineffective captain and a number of other positions where we are bereft of quality befitting a real Celtic team. The spine of this team is like a ;kin bendy straw!
Finding a manager; repairing damage done to the fanbase; Stadium maintenance issues and an Academy that is not fit for purpose are other matters that will need serious attention.
Meanwhile, MON has the hardest job of any recent Celtic manager.
24 Apr 2026 20:02:34
JIM1888JIM it shows how bad things have got if a guy who has been displaced from a 19 year old who isn’t even that good yet gets a new contract and people saying about the Scottish quota drop it just sign the best Scottish players around and spend money Watson from kilmarnock is free the young lad Brennan at kilmarnock would be a good cheap option and better than ralston there’s plenty out there I could name over 10 easily affordable good young Scottish players and would not just be there to make up the quota would actually improve the team people saying Scotland doesn't produce players talk pish there’s loads out there Celtic go get them or better yet produce our own that are good enough rant over 😂.
