We are downsizing, looking for freebies yet again and 2 freebies who were here last year have gone elsewhere, both having said they really wanted to come back here.

One for 2m, who is worth a helluva lot more but yet Nicholson could not make that deal.

The other, if he was offered a play for pay option was right to accept 50k elsewhere if that is the case, and stick up the single digit to MN.

I wouldn't have paid him those wages with his fitness issues but we could have got him on a lot less money but not a play to pay option, that's insulting.

If MN was on that type of contract, he would be due the club a fortune.

Just would cost around 5m, we would make that in interest on our savings.

We may get a couple of late window players in but that may be too late to affect our CL qualifier.

It is really embarrassing with all the clubs around us getting players in early so that they can settle in before the season kicks off.

They've had since January 2025 to sign a first team striker. We're still waiting.

They've had since January to scout and source players within our budget. Apparently we don't have a budget.

They've had since January to employ a head of Recruitment. MON says it's not a priority. Sorry. What?! So much for doing things better.

They had since January to find a suitable permanent manager. MON has saved their bacon again because the only candidate was a guy who would rip the fan base apart.

Football without fans is nothing. I think it's almost time to prove that and boycott games. Unless there is a serious change in play in the next 2 weeks (fat chance) then we are in serious trouble.

We're not sleeping at the wheel. Dermot has put the foot down and is driving us off a cliff.

Curious to know if anyone without a ticket today even going to bother getting it up on stream? I myself hate missing any games, even the pre season ones. But the lack of activity and the strength of the squad is going to make today a hard, frustrating watch. May just watch the open golf instead.

Mally we are all in agreement that our recruitment is atrocious. But in this one instance the club are doing the right thing. KI did contribute at the end of the season but his wages are astronomical. Especially when he will spend most of his time on the treatment table.

I am fuming at the way our club is ran but at least they got one thing right. Only seems to be when selling / losing a player tho.

Anyone know our financial spending rules, obv there’s a hole from last years cl exit but we still would have made plenty from Europa, we still will have a hefty budget, I’m trying to understand if something like the sarrachi deal doesn’t happen is this the reason ( club have an idea of what back up lb should cost etc ) inheacho has weighed up his options wanting a longer deal, we shouldn’t be offering him 3 yr deals so well done him for getting it elsewhere, on sarrachi tho it seems we have an influential and impactful player who will be needed being allowed to sit idle while wanting to be here, wander if the gt thing is in pipeline, Scottish quota needs hit, I still have faith bhoys,

I know builders who hate refusing work because they are so busy, so they overprice jobs to deflect clients. Those clients actually accept that price because they are so desperate. That’s the position we put ourselves in hence the overpriced dross we keep buying late in the windows.

Here is my theory! Dermot had Robbie Keane as a stickon. Somebody shat the bed then went back to MON who had no plans to continue. As its stop gap he has to make do with young talent on the books. The world Cup definitely didn't help our current situation. I initially thought MON to Sean Maloney which would have made sense especially if we had a progressive window. However I'm not even sure our coaching staff are on the same wavelength. I refer to Maloneys interview continually referring to the youngsters etc. I feel now Maeda will Leave Engels will leave, Nygren will leave and if that occurs McGregor will goto Saudi Arabia. All because Dermot wants to prove he will show us.

I fear for our club genuinely if this window pans out this way. We should never be in this situation however I have always stated our club has been infiltrated and maybe I wasn't as deluded as some thought. However I also believe politically we have to be aware of the potential of difficulties due to our right and true stance of atrocities. To dismiss this or not be aware I feel might be a little naive. It's by no means an excuse for incompetence and a total lack of structure and transparency but definitely won't help. It's really depressing and frustrating but we can only endure. I feel we should be revered but are ridiculed privately. Time will tell, I pray 🙏 to be wrong.

I would like to think there is not 1 ST holder going to the friendly tomorrow or next week. Fair enough supporters who can't normally get tickets going but ST holders are mad to be throwing more cash to those Charlatans.

Our fanbase is slowly getting divided and I have noticed fans arguing with each other. I even had an argument with a mate over Celtic, which was the first time ever.

I wouldn't give them a penny, even money for a ST. But I respect those who do continue to stump up their hard earned cash. But The Board are kicking the can down the road because when Rangers next win the league be it next year, 5 years or whatever, there's going to be a seismic reduction in ST uptake.

The fan base feeling is currently a smoking gun that will release all the pent up toxicity the year we don't win the league.
We don't have a sense of Entitlement. What we want is for the leaders of our club to pull us up from stagnancy and show a measure of ambition. And for accountability.
