La Liga game given the go ahead to be played abroad.
Celtic and Sevco will be all over this! Not long until a game in the states.

08 Oct 2025 09:27:25
Maybe cup game? I can’t see any sth being happy giving up home fixture, our clubs aren’t franchises, with us ownership led clubs maybe it could be pushed thru and they force a home game elsewhere but not any others .

08 Oct 2025 10:19:41
End of football .

08 Oct 2025 10:37:49
Remember the outcry from the Ibrox fans when a Friendly was arranged Down Under.

08 Oct 2025 11:52:47
game's gone.

08 Oct 2025 14:35:13
Football has been pimped out for decades and it will only get worse because the people that run it are corrupt and greedy counts.

08 Oct 2025 20:53:58
Maybe it'll attract a full stadium of supporters who never get to see their team and will actually sing instead of leaving it to a group of wee guys in the corner?

08 Oct 2025 23:32:57
Most are probably too busy listening to the sevco game donegalpol.

09 Oct 2025 11:46:33
Better to keep your enemies closer.
For a spell it was only 4 points ahead of Sevco on Sunday and then it ended up 9 points.
That’s entertainment and shows how quickly it can change.

09 Oct 2025 13:27:50
Not at the detriment of supporting the team.

09 Oct 2025 16:05:59
You don’t need to worry about me not giving Celtic my 100% support 🤦‍♂️😂.

09 Oct 2025 16:34:16
Youliterally admitted to listening to the sevco game at celtic park. Some fan.

09 Oct 2025 16:55:27
Which part of keeping your enemies closer do you not understand?
It didn’t stop me from Supporting my team at Celtic Park.

09 Oct 2025 20:37:53
If you say so. I personally like most Celtic fans that actually go to support the team find it embarrassing and you can try dress it up however you want. You strike me as a fan that gets more joy from them losing than Celtic winning.

{Ed007's Note - And you're coming across as someone that doesn't visit Celtic Park too often, there's always people listening to the Clyde etc while at the game - it's went on forever and will go on forever more - I just want to know how they get a a decent enough wifi/phone signal to do it.
What about all the people that are checking their coupons etc?}

09 Oct 2025 20:46:24
Most of the stadium keep tuned in on the rare occasions that both teams are playing on the same day and same kick off times.

It is possible to use your ears while supporting the team.

10 Oct 2025 12:50:28
Im at celtic park every other week and I honestly cringe when I see people listening to the radio especially sevco games. Nothing will change my opinion on it and the ones that do it never sing or really get behind the team.

{Ed007's Note - I've not seen anyone at a game with an actual radio in years, it's not very often we kick-off at the same time as them but how could you possibly know what folk are listening to?
Do you see much of the game yourself or sing much, or are you too busy looking at what other people are doing during the game?}

07 Oct 2025 23:15:35
Don’t get me wrong, the teams not firing on the park the now so BR is at fault, but if a guy openly states that he’ll be here for 3yrs and then in the 3rd year doesn’t sign a new deal, who’s at fault? BR for not signing a new deal or the board for not planning for his replacement?

All this, “the board didn’t want to invest in BR because he’s leaving” means they’re the ones with their tales up and jeopardizing the club.

08 Oct 2025 01:41:37
I love BR. Think he's a top manager. However, what the FCUK possessed him to return. I get the heart has probably ruled and he felt sorry the way it ended first time. A blind man can see that PL and him hate each other. Polar opposites of the spectrum. bR will not be here after June. I do agree it's time for a bit of freshness, but this board can all leave. We have £80m in the bank. Stop the protests! Doing the team absolutely no good! Don't buy overpriced pies, watery Bovril and rubbish Pepsi. Don't pay £70 for shirts that will be out of date very soon. THEN THERE MAY BE A CHANCE OF CHANGE! £12M IN TAX WHEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT ON THE SQUAD OR STADIUM? .

08 Oct 2025 06:54:16
Brendan has said on more than one occasion he has not been offered a new deal so its the board again.

08 Oct 2025 09:38:11
Ad say £9m over 3yrs possessed him to cum back 🤷🏽‍♂️.

08 Oct 2025 11:51:48
Who says they haven't started planning for his replacement? Can't see him being offered a new deal now after the millions he has wasted and football we are playing. I'll be stunned if he's here next season!

08 Oct 2025 11:59:38
Why would he be offered a new deal?

08 Oct 2025 13:11:16
@Bhoy the posts on here suggesting that the board aren’t buying players for Rodgers because he’s off, tells me the either they haven’t started planning a replacement, or they just decided to *u€k up the transfer window on purpose. If they have a plan then we sign regardless of BR.

09 Oct 2025 06:22:23
My theory is club signings such as shin, meet the br ok every signing comment as br did on them as club signings, in terms of first team players the calibre was dependent on cl, dependant on both sides the club spending and players wanting to come, this is completely a theory but did they club offer br several players available over the window thy he didn’t want, ? Looked like club didn’t work for players and worked poorly on players we know about, but was there others?!, to be honest it all stinks and is a massive own goal, hoarding money, manager publicly moaning fans being angry protesting being silent, board being clowns who can’t read room and shoot selves in foot constantly, there issues everywhere and very public and all concerned br board fan groups have there own things to look at also “throwing stones glass houses and all that”.

07 Oct 2025 20:30:51
Hi all hope you are well.

Just a few thoughts on the outcome of the talks.

I'm not sure about the roles and functions of all the positions ón the board. Though I'm sure there are rules around what a chairman can and can't do. If PL is interfering here then what is the outcome of that in terms of stock exchange rules?

It also looks as though the non exec directors are pulling the strings. So in some ways Nicholson is basically hamstrung by the non exec directors?

I would say too that the way the leak was managed, and Rodgers also saying the matter was resolved, means that Rodgers is away. Looks like non execs shut it down and there was nothing left to do.

If Rodgers is going well won't spend much at Christmas, as the new guy will need dough in summer.

There is no strategy here for upgrading facilities and stadium for fans. I'm gutted at this for everyone who travels far and wide to attend even at home. Musium, hotel, capacity, etc should all be in place. It's pathetic

I think if we want to protest it has to be financially. So no shopping at Celtic superstores at Christmas. Or functions etc no hospitality or yours at Celtic park. We should hit them where it truly hurts. They don't care about silent protests or late entries. We have to stop the money flow.

I understand now what Rodgers truly meant months ago when he said when supports team and board are united we are unstoppable. We are so far from that it's unreal.

07 Oct 2025 21:09:54
Rogers Hannah needs to be called out to explain why he made that story up then.

{Ed007's Note - 👍👍

07 Oct 2025 21:40:09
If roger Hannah made that up second would sue him for libel or make him publish an apology.

The board may not have directly leaked it but one or some of them are responsible for it.

However, this is a minor issue compared to the others.

07 Oct 2025 22:30:03
Desmond would sue*.

07 Oct 2025 19:27:29
For those who doubted and questioned PL's role on our transfer strategy, " the experience of long serving non executive directors" statement confirms he was/ is pulling rank regardless of his title. Time is up, he absolutely has to go. What true fan wanting the best for the club sits and checks his phone when we score an injury time winner? Only those who have some interest in a draw/ defeat, I. e to put pressure on the manager.

07 Oct 2025 20:03:51
Yeah if Nicholson and co seem to have to inform and ask someone else for permission during transfer dealings then what’s the point, hopefully imminent retirement could quell some issues, with promise of we will do better by who’s left and any replacement, wholesale changes ain’t happening.

07 Oct 2025 21:15:23
Get the puppet masters in next time, ir don't meet.

A complete boycott of the EL would be my wish. We are never progressing as we are piss poor.

No merch or food or drink bought at the stadium.

Constant demos before the home league games.

Anti Board Chants throughout game.

Or, bend over a desk. Then move along.

My fear is bending over a desk will win out.

07 Oct 2025 21:19:06
It’s been mentioned that Nicholson left the room to ask permission to pay a £200k increase on a transfer deal.

{Ed007's Note - I was more shocked that that story wasn't kept as an "exclusive".}

07 Oct 2025 22:50:35
The board want to downsize to have a more competitive league.

If the fans had the balls to stop purchasing away tickets then surely those clubs would suffer financially and would lead to a few awkward conversations with MN that they are now impacting all clubs and therefore the quality of the league.

Not great for fans who want to travel and support the team and aware it won’t impact the board financially however nothing should be off the table.

08 Oct 2025 09:33:02
Comp league yea, as more money should then follow but downsize I’m not sure of, you saw in there statement there kinda proud to operate at higher levels with a much smaller staffing output, Celtic from club to fans have us on a pedastal still with ideas of grandeur when we are small fry now, money dictates that, I don’t think anyone is deliberately downsizing anything.

08 Oct 2025 10:06:12
Their transfer policy screams very loud that we are downsizing in a way not seen since MON handed the reins to GS.

We are not even doing basic maintenance in the stadium.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

08 Oct 2025 11:54:23
Buzz I heard the exact same. Seemingly it was the Luke McCowan deal.

07 Oct 2025 17:45:16
See if I worked for Celtic board I’d have this mess sorted - get the collective in, give them hunners a grub and wine n dine, let them into the secret we deliberately sat off transfers as we are undecided on manager next year wether it’s br or another, we are in process of building them implementing a 5 yr 10 in a row plan to deliver the fan what was previously failed, end of meeting wel tell more when we can later in season, wether true or not, problem solved (for now) collective buzzing for the ten, let’s face it football fan are that thickle.

07 Oct 2025 22:41:17
If they deliberately sat off transfers because br is leaving that is even worse, as they have left us in limbo for a whole season. It has already cost us at least 40 million in lost revenue and could cost us silverware too.

They either back the manager or they sack him.

07 Oct 2025 22:52:21
You mean you would just lie.

Perhaps you should be on the board as you would fit right in.

07 Oct 2025 14:38:56

I've opened a section where I will upload the latest info from the Celtic Fans Collective as I get it. You can see the tab at the top of the screen.

07 Oct 2025 12:31:37
I’m not sure how it works, but let’s say dd couldn’t be arsed with us anymore, is he entitled to take his share of profits into sunset and sell up as I’d assume the money in the bank would get added to club valuation.

07 Oct 2025 12:55:08
No, money in bank belongs to company. DD would have to sell his shares and simply pocket whatever he can get for them, less any capital gains tax of course.

07 Oct 2025 11:39:56
Early reports from meeting is that it was a party political broadcast on behalf of the Celtic party. They are perfect and nothing needs to change.
Also they asked every board member if they were responsible for the press backstabbing, all denied it was them so that's put that to bed.
They did admit communication could be better and will look into that in the next 100 years when most of the whiny fans have died.
Protests need to ramp up against these arrogant clowns before apathy takes this club even further backwards.

07 Oct 2025 12:40:01
I'm honestly not sure what anybody was expecting apart from a bit of lip service and a regurgitated statement.

07 Oct 2025 13:00:42
We expected to find out what the attitude of this board was to the recent unrest. We now know, it’s arrogance, ignorance and contempt. They think they can wait this out. Let’s prove them wrong or we will be left with mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

07 Oct 2025 14:12:22
We already know the attitude of the board. This business plan of theirs, constantly making profits in transfer windows at the expence of real progression has been going on a fair bit longer than since the summer. Mismanagement in key appointments like DoF or Head of Recruitment have been a constant. The poor communication and being unable to read the room are an everpresent. Nobody needed them to tell us any of this.

07 Oct 2025 15:38:00
It was always going to be a 'party political broadcast' of closed ranks with no admittance or acknowledgement of wrong-doing.
The bad feeling will only brew and boil over against these tyrants. Unfortunately it will prove to be a huge distraction and hinderance to the season on the field and when it all goes tits-up the blame will all be deflected back to the support. Catch 22.
Unless, maybe protests and reaction is staged outside the stadium?

07 Oct 2025 15:46:49
The transfer window was a shambles surely they took responsibility for that and the stadium definitely needs improved.

07 Oct 2025 16:17:52
Maybe it was just a chance for them to repent before all out war. They appear to blown it.

07 Oct 2025 22:43:20
I reckon the recruitment team are identifying loads of players and our board are either unable or unwilling to sign them.

07 Oct 2025 11:02:33
There is something that is really bothering me about Celtics "Financial Information" this year. I am not a massive board sceptic, nor am I a big fan of the board. I don't think they do as bad a job as people think but I also think they have made an absolute rip roaring mess of this summer.

However, this year they have sent out the Annual Report but haven't actually sent our an annual report. They have submitted a brief and basic final report as a stock market notification as opposed to the 30-40 page annual report. As such there is no annual report on the CFC website just a stock notification in the relevant page.

Makes no sense to me as if there is some key information being withheld by just putting some basic info out before or rather than the main report.

07 Oct 2025 12:57:26
Could be an interim report before full report issued in due course?

07 Oct 2025 14:25:54
Yes but the full report always comes out in September seems strange and out of normal practise to have an interim report.

07 Oct 2025 22:46:15
They often come out in October and I was surprised they released information early. I am sure it is a legal requirement to publish annual accounts, so I am sure they will be along soon.

07 Oct 2025 10:35:59
Always wondered why W Haughey never had more involvement in our club, he has the dosh.

07 Oct 2025 11:10:54
I don't think you need personal wealth to be involved, Celtic does not rely on the generosity of well heeled fans in the manner of previous Sevco owners. They sold out because of the drain on their personal resources. Haughey would need to bring something to the business that DD felt was currently lacking. (assuming he wanted to be involved)

07 Oct 2025 12:10:00
I could be way off the mark here, so please correct me if I'm wrong. But when Fergus was in charge did Haughey not leak stories to the press - I seem to remember Fergus setting him up or something by only telling him to see if it would appear in the papers.

But maybe I made all that up?

07 Oct 2025 12:39:05
I like Willie Haughey.
You’re right Henrik about Fergus and Haughey having issues.

Haughey was a Director after investing in the club when Fergus took over.
Haughey did resign after a fallout with Fergus when he was sticking up for Celtic Manager Tommy Burns through the media.
Fergus and Tommy had a strained relationship at that time.

07 Oct 2025 14:11:52
We need Brian Dempsey back.
