Is there a future at Celtic for luis palma, seemed to tick boxes before Celtic and while out loaned, started at Celtic very also but I just felt Brendan's brand football wasn't for him, looks a very capable player (not a pacey winger though) he could definitely contribute more than balikwisha and Nygren wide and probably more than Nygren centrally also,

Tomorrow November 27th will always be a dark day when we lost on Penalties at Ibrox to Raith Rovers in 1994.

It was also the same date we had a referee from Luxembourg take our match at home to Inverness CT due to the strike from Scottish Referees in 2010.

Originally referees came from another Country ( maybe Portugal ) but didn't realise there was a National Strike and they then also refused to officiate Scottish games.

Up stepped the Luxembourg referee who agreed to do the match at Celtic Park on the Saturday and then also do the Rangers match at Tannadice on the Sunday.

The referee had a good game at Celtic Park although we threw away a 2 goal lead to finish the match 2-2.
The match at Tannadice the next day was postponed due to snow.

Unbelievably the Dundee United V Rangers rearranged match never took place until 20 weeks later on April 19th 2011.
The pressure was on Wullie Collum because Rangers were playing catch-up and he never disappointed.

Collum awarded Rangers 3 penalties and he also Sent Off the 3 Dundee United players for the offences.
Rangers won 4-0 to go 4 points ahead but Celtic had 2 games in hand.
The Old Ibrox club cut the goal difference in half to only 4 behind.

It was another bottle job from Celtic that season but we didn't know we were competing against a cheating EBT Rangers FC team.

Not entirely football related.
Buzz, the Dundee United v Rangers game, was cancelled the Rangers players heading back to Glasgow, tried to help a crash. Me and the wife were stuck in traffic, took us 8 hrs to go from Livingston to Dundee, only to be told by the rozzers the road was closed, we got another night away, but I remember the papers being full of stuff about the Rangers players helping, probably the only time they had ever done something for someone.

Even I got my mug in the papers, sitting in the car stuck in all that snow. 2010 winter was bad.

Watching tonight's CL games and in particular Arsenal v Bayern. These teams are not just on a different planet to us, they're in a different galaxy. Whoever takes over has got one hell of a job to get us into a position where we can even get into the CL again never mind compete!
Maddening to think we played a great game against Bayern earlier this year to where we are now.

The teams with the big money and superb facilities are disappearing over the horizon.

Night and Day in only 9 months Rab.

2024 was our best record for the least amount of losses in over a Century.
2025 looks like Celtic will lose the most games in a Calendar year since 1990.

Maybe use more European games as an excuse but it's still a shocking turnaround in only 12 months.
We still had 6 European CL matches in 2024.

The whole European football set up is designed for one thing and one thing only, to help the top 5 leagues top teams. It is a super league by any other name.

Leagues like ours and teams like us are of little or no interest to the corrupt few who run European and world football.

The gap between them and us will just continue to grow until leagues like ours will no longer be invited to qualify for what will eventually be a super league for the to 5 leagues.

Normally card happy who Celtic have again on Sunday Nick Walsh eventually came forward for me tonight.

I had a £5 bet builder free bet and I put it across the early games tonight.
I had an easy 2 goals or more in the Monaco game.
Plus Copenhagen to score at least 2 goals.
Plus Kairat to get at least 3 bookings at 3/ 1.
Kairat had Zero bookings until the 87th minute and then ended up with 4 bookings.

The later kickoffs were rubbish.
I needed another PSG corner for one bet builder.
I also needed another 3 Bayern corners for another.
And I added at least 2 goals in the Millwall V Sheffield Wed game to my CL at least 2 goals coupon 🤦‍♂️.

I watched the AGM back as I was not sure if I had just imagined this, turns out I hadn't.

If you watch Lawwell end the AGM, you can see him reading from a script, which would indicate that it was premeditated on their part.

Im certainly no law expert but surely what they did can be looked into as its not right.
There goal was get RD to antagonize them with a verbal tirade, which in turn will cause the room to lose it and give us a reason to sneak out unscathed.
The protest at the start before RD flapped his gums had ended by the time he started so that alone can't be used as an excuse to end it.

If that was the case why did Lawwell not end it before RD spouted his pish.
It just stinks on so many levels and it is absolutely astounding the amount of so called fans that are still board apologists. Gullibles the lot of them.

Pity the info I've heard from Celtic fans across the pond from Vancouver to New York is not so good. Loses as much as he wins, naive, terrible goals against, very inexperienced. Not a surprise for a 49 year old only managing for just 4 Years. His teams are predictable and is one dimensional.

That's some of the nicer things I've heard from guys I know who are Celtic fans who live in North America.

DD and Tisdale are behind this…. That tells you everything you need to know.

I get let's back him and we will see how he does… but how can someone who is so inexperienced and such a poor track record get the gig as manager of Celtic.

Morning All,

I've been part of the site now for around 10/ 15 years. We have had many highs and some lows.

BUT in that time I don't think I've ever seen so many Celtic fans at each others throats as we have at present.

I'm very much of the opinion these days that if you don't have anything nice to say to someone then just leave it as is. (this has not always been the case but having children can definitely change you) .

I've got absolutely no view or opinion on the new manager coming in as I know absolutely NOTHING about the guy.

What I do know is that as long as the current board and directors are in charge we will constantly be going backwards in the modern day game.

It's not quite December but I hope all the guys/ girls on the forum have a nice Christmas and New Year.

Guys, like most of us, I have reservations about this new appointment. But if we are a Club open to All, well that includes our new manager. So we need to welcome him and get behind him.
If the results don't come, I won't pin it on him. He's just unfortunate to have this group of players at his disposal.

Well, the utter contempt this bunch show for the institution that is Celtic football club couldn't be more explicit. And mini me had the gaul call supporters intimidating bullies. Has the time arrived for a full boycott? It's becoming very clear the that the only thing that will affect them is financial starvation.

Would love to know what the clubs main commercial sponsors think of what's going on because they know who is entirely responsible for their income.
