Garry Parker is not joining with Neil. Maybe the club do have a long term successor in mind.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 20:59:14
yeah his assistants are Kennedy and Duff, very interesting as if it was going to be a longer term thing I would expect his assistants to come in.

26 Feb 2019 21:40:45
Good shout. Never considered that but makes sense. And I had just talked myself into Lenny for the Ten now I'm back to Rafa the gaffa.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 23:03:52
Mourinho re-united with his ex assistant Stevie Clarke šŸ˜ That would do šŸ¤£.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 01:52:58
I'd rather appoint mccoist than mourinho. Can't stand that cheating rat after what he did to us.

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 09:36:43
I'd have jose in 2 seconds flat.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 13:19:56
I have detested mourinho since Seville and would be sick if he got anywhere near Celtic Park. Last job he was on something near Ā£15mill so hopefully that puts that to bed.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 15:40:10
Mourinho lol get real, he gets paid about 5 times what Brendan was on and NEEDS Ā£100m plus in funds every window so NO chance.
Would love Rafa whoā€™s on Ā£100k a week at Newcastle so highly unlikely we can attract him, especially after he eventually got backed in last transfer window, with our spending history thereā€™s no chance he would come either.
Strachan, Moyes, Clark or Lenny is realistic shortlist.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:24:46
Lennon confirmed.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 17:59:50
As an interim I guess it's ok. All the best Lenny.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 19:08:06
I'm sure Steve Clarke will be delighted as there is now another focal point for sectarian hatred. welcome back Lenny and all the best as it will be a lot tougher to follow BR than Mowbray.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 22:30:42
I would offer the manager's job to Rafa Benitez at the end of the season, whatever Lennon delivers. A Ā£5 million salary + bonuses, on a 3 year contract and Ā£30 million to spend on the defence. Benitez is out of contract in June and would be back in Europe again.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 23:50:35
More chance of Rafa Nadal becoming our manager than Benitez.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 16:50:28
Pedro saying there's 2 others been interviewed for job any names bhoys.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 17:04:51
Mally just a wee heads up mate Peter Lawwell talks absolute rubbish. Tells the fans what they want to hear.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:05:35
It's a certainly one is moyes. Will only be guys out of work right now with how quick this has moved.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:25:40
Surely with how quickly this has happened (if at all) it's managers we have approached?

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:26:49
Is Dicanio still out of work? šŸ˜‚.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 18:37:52
Big Sam alardyce since we are in such a crisis! šŸ¤Ŗ.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 18:51:14
After an extensive worldwide search theyā€™ll appoint John Kennedy šŸ˜³.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 19:34:17
If Allardyce got the job, Iā€™d never be back.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 19:59:38
Few people mentioned the Salzburg manager, Marco rose, think he would be a great appointment. Could we get him though?

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 15:42:08
Great shout, donā€™t see why not heā€™s spent less than we have in past 3 seasons and has built a far superior side. He would be a great appointment and is not out of reach financially.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 15:56:10
Heā€™s gone with his staff but left us Lee congerton šŸ˜‚.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 16:20:32
Wonder if he will let us extend benkovich loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 16:21:23
Says it all šŸ˜‚

Though to be fair Congerton might be identifying good targets and the board aren't putting the money up. Who knows?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 16:28:29
And John KennedyšŸ‘šŸ».

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:06:05
Glad he's left kennedy.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:25:07
Heā€™ll take Benkovic and be back for Tierney and McGregor in the summer and why wouldnā€™t he? If he offers Ā£40m for the pair Lawwell will bite his hand off as that will offset David Moyes failing to get us into the Champions League because that how Lawwellā€™s mind works unfortunately, I lay the blame for todayā€™s event squarely at the Celtic boardā€™s lack of ambition, itā€™s shocking!

Agree4 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:48:55
Kennedy needs to go too.

Agree4 Disagree1

26 Feb 2019 18:28:13
Lawwell should be reviewing his role in this saga, but we all know he wonā€™t . every time we have a successful manager he pisses them off, Oā€™Neill, Strachan, Lennon and inflicted Mowbray and Deila on us, to me he is the problem here, heā€™s only interested in banking money and pocketing his obscene bonus not taking the club forward!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Peter Lawwell is told what to do by the board.}

26 Feb 2019 19:17:27
Kev83 just out of curiosity why are you glad he left Kennedy?

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 19:51:12
Because everything u have read or heard about him seems like he is a good coach.
Plus right now we need someone in there that has worked with these players.

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 01:18:30
Drewzybhoy
Thatā€™s my biggest fear if he comes in for Mcgregor Tierney or Forrest how could the board or the players turn down that money treble wages and about 40million.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 15:52:47
Anyone else heard mourinho?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 15:57:47
What a turn around that would be šŸ˜‚.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 15:59:12
Id take him.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 16:05:45
Bring the king home šŸ€.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 16:19:48
More chance of Solskjaer if he doesn't get the Man U job at the end of the season?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 22:29:56
Not Mouruniho for me horrible watching his teams how they set up and play. Marco Rose would be amazing imo.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 23:04:58
Murinho after the UEFA cup final vs Porto? We wouldn't have been happy with that appointment at his prime.

Clarke has earned a crack at it the hard way.
Rafa is the European expert and available and why not?
Lennon will endear himself with us all within 6 weeks.
What about Ranieri? I think that's who I'd like most. Sort of in the Tommy Burns mode.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2019 07:18:50
Ranieri! Yes! Dilly ding dilly dong!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Feb 2019 11:33:27
Larsson Hartson Sutton oh and Kennedy lol dream team for ten in a row.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 08:29:03
Brendan Chris Davies and kolo all going to Leicester now, niel Lennon to take charge till end of season. Gutted. no loyalty in football,

Believable4 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 10:55:45
Gutted definitely. Makes sense about Lenny being interim manager until the end of the season if true. One man for the job in my opinion and that is Steve Clarke.

Agree4 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 11:17:50
I wonder if any celtic players will be playing for Leicester city next season?

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 12:46:35
Aye, benkovic šŸ˜‚.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 12:51:54
Neilbhoy hopefully Johnny Hayes lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 13:04:55
Comper if he fits in the boot of his car. Take a medical kit haha.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 14:10:29
It tells you everything, Rodgers taking Davies and Kolo but leaves us Kennedy why not do us a big favour and take him also.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 14:20:41
LMAO gedceltic. If Fergus McCann was still here he would dealt with commper by now lol bottle of lucozade and bunch of grapes feck off! Lol

I like brendans timing, just after we exit Europe he is away. I reckon deal was done last summer to be honest. Bring benkovic on loan and I will sign minute we are out of of Europe. Coincidence?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 15:18:37
I am truly gutted with the news and I hope NL IS ONLY to the summer wonder if it was the lack of ambition from the board more so in the summer that pushed Brendan away? Words fail me must be getting a lot of money from Leicester to let him go at this time of the year more to sit in the bank and admire.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Feb 2019 11:30:11
If Celtic wanted Clarke they'd have gone out this morning and got him. He'd have walked to Celtic Park in his bare feet, backwards, with a blindfold on while juggling his granny's best china. There would have been no issue sorting out a deal with Kilmarnock. HH.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 08:48:17
According to sky sports BR is in talks with LC, disappointed tbh.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 08:54:09
Shocking if he's actually gone at this point of the season
Shows that he's just been talking Garbage to the fans saying it's his dream job etc.

Agree5 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 08:56:09
apparently he's away and taking Davis and Tourre with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:05:14
It is being reported that it could be done as early as today. Can't believe it to be honest. Shocking.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:12:23
Surprised and extremely disappointed with this decision. He could have seen the season out. Leicester would have waited I'm sure if they really wanted him. Like I say, disappointed. He better get used to not playing in Europe.

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:18:43
Come home Neil Lennon please god.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:52:21
Can't understand the logic - only the lolly?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:53:32
With his record would he want to play in Europe if wee blow ten in a row heads must roll!

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 10:14:43
Personally think that Brendan asked to stay until the end of the season to deliver the treble treble, but Peter has said nope you can go right now as it will delay our rebuilding .
good luck Brendan thanks for the memories Hail Hail YNWA.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 11:11:02
Canā€™t believe this unreal, please though no N. Lennon even as temporary boss, let's get someone with experience in Europe and a good league theirs bound to be one or two floating about lol benetez could be a good shout.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 11:36:23
there is only one reason brendan is walking away to join a low level club and it is PETER LAWELL shame on him. i hope brendan doesn't sign any disclosure documents and comes out and tells the true fans the truth about what's going on, hh.

Agree6 Disagree0

{Ed007's - Twaddle! The ONLY person to blame is Brendan Rodgers himself and his ego.}

26 Feb 2019 13:39:55
I agree with 007 his ego was always going to do this one day and I just hoped it would be not in the middle of a season. Poor timing by someone whoā€™s kidded us on for 2 years reference his ā€˜dream jobā€™.

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 14:47:11
He said Liverpool was his dream job aswell, lying c@nt.

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:29:20
Find it hard to believe. I really thought he got what it meant to manage Celtic but clearly he doesnā€™t. I think heā€™ll regret this decision at some point but to be honest, I donā€™t really care. Happy with either NL or SC and one of them can take their place in Celtic history as the guy who lead us to 10 in a row.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 17:35:49
Chrisbhoy, NL has experience of Europe. We beat Barcelona while he was the boss.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 19:38:03
Neil Lennon has beaten Barcelona well the team of players did and they were great players too in that team, would I consider Lennon and experienced European manager not a chance sorry but not for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 08:45:08
Rodgers has left.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 09:03:16
with no statement from Rodgers or Celtic distancing for the Leicester job and now permission to speak to them, I wonder whoā€™s decision it is for him to leave, I think Celtic will be glad as they donā€™t have to pay him compensation.

All about transferr kittyā€™s and the quality of previous transfers.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 09:24:20
Disgusted with him, just few weeks ago saying he was happiest heā€™d ever been, living the dream, no problem with transfer policy, knew what the job was before he took it etc.
To leave now, mid season with a treble treble in sight and to go to a club like Leicester just shows all heā€™s been doing is biding his time for first offer to come in.
Hope they get relegated!

Agree6 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 15:28:44
Lawwell will be lapping this up, get Lenny on the cheap, save on his wages and teams wages. 6 million from Leicester, offer that to whoever the next manager in in the summer, bonus guaranteed for him and his cronies. If Rogers canā€™t get funds out of him to improve what chance will anyone else after winning a double treble . And still the biggest outlay in the last window was for his bonus, wake up Celtic . Heā€™s a very good business man but from my point of view he has too much interference in the football side, even the Ukrainian winger seemed to be signed from behind Brendanā€™s back. But still in saying all this, Iā€™m gutted that he himself has chose to leave us in a critical point in the season. If he was in the dream job as he stated many times where is the lure of Leicester .
This is so typical of us as a club that from a position of strength we seem to throw it away.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 00:16:03
Lot of news about LC wanting BR coming out now. The only way to stop it is BR stating heā€™s going nowhere will be the only way to get rid of this rumour I hope he does in a strong message by saying he is going nowhere.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2019 07:23:35
He's already walked out mid question about the Leicester job. That's enough to put it to bed.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Feb 2019 08:47:49
Supposedly heā€™s away.
