Well, the late night extra training session didn't help.

Two wonderful games of football in the past 48 hours. Juventus v Spurs and Real v PSG. Yes, these teams are on a different planet financially, but still a joy to watch end to end entertainment with wonderful players. Here's hoping we pit up a good, fighting performance tomorrow. Hail hail bhoys.

{Ed007's Note - Tomorrow's should be a cracker too.}

Another below par performance today in my opinion. Partick took their goals well from two mistakes and apart from the wee scare at the end, our keeper wasnt really tested. Our back four need to tighten up before Thursday and for the remaining games. Ntcham and Musonda flitted in and out of the game, but I think Charly will come good. Better runs today from Sinky, but I still short on confidence.

Sad to hear the news regarding Liam Miller. Taken too young. Sympathy and prayers to his family and friends. Hail hail son.

Excited to see the standard of football this group of players can produce for the second half of the season. With important player's coming back from injury, the boss will have so many options to choose from which is never a bad thing. He's clearly building for the the next 2-3 years, and if everyone buys into his philosophy of how he wants Celtic to play, we can all look forward to the future. Let's take one season at a time, one title at a time and leave everyone else in our slipstream. Thanks ED007 for all your hard work and for keeping your finger on the pulse. Hail hail lads.

{Ed007's Note - You're welcome.}

The performance during the first half last night was in my opinion awesome .
Three strong powerful midfielders playing with pace and accuracy and fronted by two big strong fast powerful strikers left our team no pushovers
If we could only get 70/ 75 mins every week, I would be so delighted.

Love to get Paddy. Would like to think we'd get him for under 10 big one's. As for the big fella, widdnae bother.

Would absolutely love it if we used the VVD money towards securing wee Paddy.

Defo Martyc. Just saying to my son the other day, that we've missed Armstrong. I feel he gives us more in terms of his runs getting in behind defences. Pretty good goal ratio also, and we've missed that. Hopefully he and the rest of the injured bhoys aren't too far away from coming back.

In my opinion it would have been absolute folly to think we could replicate the outstanding form we produced last year. Yes, we've lost our rythm this season, but could we have envisaged the horrendous injuries we've been hit with to first team players? Forrest was immense today, and good to see Rogic back in the fold. The rest aren't far away hopefully, and a nice wee home tie in the draw tomorrow will give us a great chance of btb trebles.

Agreed Stan. We cannot afford to"hit the heights " every third or fourth game! We need a run of consistency and that only comes with a settled team in my opinion. Also, I don't think our support are panicking at the moment, more concerned I guess. As I said on an earlier post, the treble will be no formality, and the two games at the sheep and Orcs are certainly no formalities. Eight points isn't an unassailable lead and if the dons were to win it could get interesting. I think that we're all frustrated after the performance against Hertz to that effort yesterday. Granted, he did not envisage losing two men so soon. But! I thought the two young lads played well, and I'm convinced Charly will settle in and cement a place. The boy can play. Regards Dembele, reminds me of big Sammy at times, looks like he can't be arsed. The quicker Griff, Tam, Paddy, and Stuarts back the better. Hail hail bhoys.

It's still great to be a Tim Sammy but the past is in the past, albeit it a fantastic achievement which we will always cherish. In football your only as good as your last game, and we were absolutely dire today. To have two shots (or am I being generous ) at goal in 90 minutes is woeful and we should be putting teams like Kilmarnock away, even at their gaff. That display was unacceptable full stop. We haven't won four league games in a row this season and that's a worry. Our wonderful support deserved better today.
