Lennon confirmed.

1.) 26 Feb 2019 17:59:50
As an interim I guess it's ok. All the best Lenny.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 19:08:06
I'm sure Steve Clarke will be delighted as there is now another focal point for sectarian hatred. welcome back Lenny and all the best as it will be a lot tougher to follow BR than Mowbray.

3.) 26 Feb 2019 22:30:42
I would offer the manager's job to Rafa Benitez at the end of the season, whatever Lennon delivers. A £5 million salary + bonuses, on a 3 year contract and £30 million to spend on the defence. Benitez is out of contract in June and would be back in Europe again.

4.) 26 Feb 2019 23:50:35
More chance of Rafa Nadal becoming our manager than Benitez.

Farcical the way fans are slagging Rodgers style of play and achievements this last few seasons I’ve lived the dream last few seasons that’s why I feel so let down I thought he was too. I can’t comprehend any fan doing what he does the gb banner sums him up perfectly but we need someone to carry on what he started. Kev you’ve championed Benitez for ages he would be perfect he would buy into everything about us but also improve us. Let’s not settle for winning keep improving and winning the Celtic way.

1.) 28 Feb 2019 22:36:25
First season was great
2nd was average
3rd was average

82pts last year in league would lose us leagues back when it was competitive.

This season we dropped many PTS and would probably be 2nd or matching pts.

Europe been embarrassing mostly.

Leicester will some weeks look excellent but will probably lose most games against better opposition.

2.) 28 Feb 2019 22:59:29
I don't think it's farcical welshybhoy he walked out with ten games to go in a league, after saying it was "the best job in the world". We've all been sold a dummy with this guy and he deserves all the slagging he gets. He doesn't care what we think so we move on to 10 IAR without him.

3.) 28 Feb 2019 23:38:09
We can improve under Neil Lennon.

4.) 01 Mar 2019 07:16:30
He tried to gut us of our entire backroom staff before a huge trip to swinecastle! He put dynamite to his legacy and he’s a scumbag for me now but we should always be moving forward.

5.) 01 Mar 2019 07:49:33
I will be always grateful for the lift he gave us when he arrived at Celtic Park, the players he immediately brought in and the vast improvement in existing players, turning us into 'Invincibles'.
Record breaking and a conveyor belt of trophies should never be disrespected or disregarded and although there were some blimps along the way and an obvious friction between him and Lawell, the only thing that angered me and left me resentful was the manner and timing of the departure - not to mention the destination.
The club will always be much bigger than any one man, so it's done and we move on and one thing we really have to ensure is to carry on this magnificent run, retain our trophies and be fully prepared for a summer of re-building and consolidating our domination.

6.) 01 Mar 2019 08:50:55
As Campsieboy said Mo Ro put dynamite under his legacy and tried to gut our backroom staff regardless of impact on Celtic one day before Jambos, never wanted to be here, used us, lied about being a fan and dream job, left without a nod or wink to the players, slipped out the back door, a fraud and a phoney from day one. Not interested in what he won while here the weasels name should get edited out on here before the H word is it’s more offensive.

7.) 01 Mar 2019 17:21:53
Don’t read my post wrong the guy is a rat. It’s the way all of a sudden fans saying our system etc was wrong didn’t like the way he set us up etc great coach terrible man.

26 Feb 2019 21:53:35
Bit of realism here bhoys I’m more pissed of with the patter he fed us all this time love the club boyhood dream etc have more respect if he was honest with us but no one is bigger than the club here 10iar is coming thanks for your bit Brendan But now it’s time for someone else to carry on the mantle 🍀.

1.) 26 Feb 2019 22:05:35
That's what's sticking in my craw, Welshy. But I do think he meant all those things sincerely at the time. There's nothing jubilant about his new press conference: he's not equating the job, the club, or the fans. We just couldn't or wouldn't match his ambition (or perhaps defer to his judgment) when it mattered to him--Dembele, McGinn. After his first stab at the CL with Biton as a centre back he was entitled to expect real commitment, as we all were.

But yeah it is hard to take.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 22:13:14
That's the biggest thing for me welshy. He duped me and a hell of a lot of others into thinking he was a celtic man. No celtic man would leave celtic for Leicester never mind with the prospect of a treble treble and 10 in a row on the horizon.

3.) 26 Feb 2019 22:33:23
To the tune of Brendan Rodgers

Relegation relegation
We hope your team goes down this year.

26 Feb 2019 15:05:31
Only thing that will cheer me up today is seeing Ronny back through the door 😏.

1.) 26 Feb 2019 15:53:09
I said that earlier Welshy but my post only made it to the 'Other Posts' page. Almost like the reserve league of banter posts 😔.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 15:59:24
Ive been saying that to bhoys all day I’d have him back in a heartbeat.

3.) 26 Feb 2019 16:05:22
Lots of complementarity with BR, that's a great call WB.

4.) 26 Feb 2019 16:29:40
Haha nice 1.Strachan and Mowbray intrested😂😂.

5.) 26 Feb 2019 17:24:44
It's time for the call to dr jo.

6.) 28 Feb 2019 11:35:29
Welshy there would be season tickets piled up outside the front door. I love the guy and think he done a good job but I'd say the vast majority wouldn't accept it.

26 Feb 2019 13:28:45
Ed whose your choice for manager.

{Ed007's Note - Marcelo Bielsa obviously lol.}

1.) 26 Feb 2019 13:44:44
Claude Puel.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 13:49:40
Haha apart from him lol heard he’s on £100k funded by a private business man.

{Ed007's Note - And the compensation is about £7 million lol

3.) 26 Feb 2019 14:02:21
Dafa out of contract at end of season but we've no chance to rich.

4.) 26 Feb 2019 14:18:39
Anyone who doesn't have a Scouse accent!

5.) 26 Feb 2019 14:31:23
Mikel Arteta, David Wagner?

26 Feb 2019 10:57:05
I’m hearing he doesn’t want to leave ed bit Lawwell has insisted that he talks to Leicester (£9m buy out clause)

{Ed007's Note - I can't see that lol

1.) 26 Feb 2019 11:22:58
Slippy has offered to drive him personally.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 11:29:02
Heard lawwel hog tied him stuck him in the trunk of his Bentley and drove him down personally

Lawwel out!

3.) 26 Feb 2019 12:43:28
Benkovic is showing him round the place.

Wouldn’t want him tbh Ed did any of you watch Everton? I’m right behind Lenny I fact I’ll be behind anyone we have but really think as much as I love his commitment to the club I really believe he’s a backward step.
No secret my praise of Ronny despite what anyone else says but didn’t he implemented the changes behind the scene to bring us in line with modern day football making it easier for Rodgers to carry it on. Now surely this forward thinking modern manager is the type we should be going for.

Stated before Hayes not good enough but so glad he’s proved me wrong bhoy deserves any chances he gets.

Kev I don’t post as much as I want to on here cos you generally post what I’m thinking 1st. But in this case I disagree I’d love Hendry to come good bit he’s a project that hasn’t and won’t work out just not good enough. Hayes is another who would probably run through a brick wall for us but in fairness so would I if I had the chance another not good enough.
Happy with the window tho never saw Burke as a no9 but that’s only from what I read of the bhoy but think he could do us a turn their prefer to see eddy in behind he’s got that killer pass in his locker. Weah looks a player but not as a lone striker. Agreed with you all along on sinky people don’t seem to see the overall contrite brings to the team
All in all up front we’ve got players far superior to the rest and as for our weak defence can anyone name an spl player we would have in place of any of them?
Here we go 10iar.

Ralston is nowhere near ready he’s like Izzy in the way he looks good going down the wing when we’re winning but is caught out defensively his positioning like Izzy is poor. Not saying get rid as in time with coaching he could get there but as no1 right back but for me not yet anyway.

I’m no on the scheme mate and in same boat had tickets for last rounds. I’ll prob get one thankfully. But don’t jump on the scheme next season because of it we’re lucky with the allocation for this one but if it were people you would’ve been in a ballot so no better off.

Don’t want either both a backward step. Loving trebles loving the domination and crave the ten more than anything we can achieve. But in these years of dominance ultimately the goal has to be progression each year. Team improving standard of player and performance each year. No doubt both will do the necessary to win games might even tight up in Europe but will we improve? I don’t think so love to be wrong. The snake has gone but fk me he definitely improved us and if it weren’t for his bull it wouldn’t hurt so much. We need a progressive coach at the helm better people than me know who these are and I hope we go that way.
