Listen Bhoys regardless of people's opinion of Lenny the fact is he is the permanent manager of Glasgow Celtic and we as supporters must back him. Hopefully the board will give him the funds to bring in players to strengthen the team and I believe he will have us playing a much more attacking style of football. We are in a great position Bhoys having just completed the treble treble . Let's get behind the Lenny and the Bhoys in our quest for 10. This is how it feels to be Celtic 🍀.

Ice Man

1.) 25 May 2019 19:33:59
Ice Man I have no doubt the majority of us will support him. No matter who is in the dug out we want to see Celtic win every game. You can't hide from the fact that there are much better managers out there though and it would appear the club have done nothing to try and get one.

2.) 25 May 2019 19:45:06
Absolutely JimTim I’m not doubting that at all. Lenny was by no means my first choice but now it’s confirmed he has been offered the job we must all accept this and give him out full backing.

3.) 25 May 2019 20:11:02
Is it 100% that he's the manager?

4.) 25 May 2019 20:12:24
Cheap option, no ambition. going to be long season 🤕.

5.) 25 May 2019 20:24:18
At least all the manager rumours can be put to bed it was starting to get boring, I'm just glad it's not Moyes.
The board have took the cheap option but we knew they would this time round, as long as they don't take the cheap route with the transfers required to strengthen the squad.
We need to get rid of some of the dead wood at the club and urgently.
Sinclair
Gordon
Griffiths
Lustig
Bitton
Hayes
Compper
Mulumbu
Alan

We promote the young talent we already have into the fold, along with some quality needed players at Right back, Centre back and second striker and I think we can kick on no problem.

My team moving forward:-

GK Bain Sub New Signing or Youth
RB New Signing Sub Ralston
LB Tierney Sub Church
CB Ayer Sub Simunovic
CB New Signing Sub Hendry
CDM Brown Sub McInroy
CM McGregor Sub Coffey
AMR Forrest Sub Shved
AMC Christie Sub Henderson
AML Johnson Sub Oko-Flex
CF Edouard Sub New Signing

We also have Miller coming back, Dembele, Bayo and Kouassi.

This isn't just a great time to be a celtic fan but it also could be a time where we start to see youth flourish at the club more than ever before HH Rebel Treble.

6.) 25 May 2019 20:30:26
cheap option?
correct option
so you wanted a manger who knows nothing about the celtic way what it means the managers that where gettig spouted here are useless without big bucks and sly tv money.
go and check lennons history he's also got an eye for a player.
Rodgers Celtic where dying on there feet Lennon got them over the line
he will put his touch on the champs next season and make us better. lennons record in europe is pretty gd too.

7.) 25 May 2019 20:46:57
Lennon getting the job is a total uninspiring option. I love lennon for what he did for the club. But perm manager really. Gutted this is going to be a long long season next year.

8.) 25 May 2019 21:23:33
What is the celtic way andy?

9.) 25 May 2019 21:28:38
Doesn't matter who the manager is eally. It's what he does.

If Lennon recruits well and fixes the problems we can see in the team and makes sure there's organisation and hunger in the squad then I'll be happy.

Those celebrating Lennon's appointment across the city today will go into meltdown when Lenny leads us to the 10.

10.) 25 May 2019 21:48:52
jimtim
play for the club play, for the top, play remembering past history, fans getting future memories one big happy family,
sixtythousand fans singing walk on what a feeling that is when you are in it.
the Celtic way is attacking teams getting the job done and make us a team, feared anywhere we go in the world.

Rodgers in my opinion lost his way for a while every team we played i constantly we are where lose this biting nails etc. i was also sick of the ball constantly getting past around our defence think this wasted 20 mins in every game.
Lenny finished Rodgers job not sure where we would have finished up this season, as i stopped believing in rodgers hmmmm then he walked the signs where there, lenny steadied the ship and broke more records.
just can't get enough.

11.) 25 May 2019 22:45:05
for those who think next season is going to be a long one I don't think it can be any longer than this one. we diddn't play great all season and somehow managed to pull another treble out of the bag. We may have gotten the treble anyway with Rogers but we will never know as he ran away when the going got tough. I think next year with the squad revamped and Lenny's passion it will be easier but i suppose if we don't get a quadruple treble it will be Lennons fault.

12.) 25 May 2019 23:08:37
To be fair I said after the Valencia games Rodgers should walk as he had three years to get it right in Europe, I do not want Lennon as the next man but will back him 100%, can only hope that whatever a new manager would have been promised he will get the same to recruit. If Neil can take us to 10 it will be even sweeter knowing how much it hurts them. WE ARE ALL NEIL LENNON! 🏆.

13.) 25 May 2019 23:50:37
Lenny’s had his chance IMO and to the poster saying Lenny has an eye for a signing. How much did he actually say in the signing of players?

14.) 26 May 2019 04:07:33
Here lennon is not the best choice the cheap option as usual decent manager done the job tight board upstairs fck all ambition.

15.) 26 May 2019 05:49:22
@ Ice Man. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm behind him. I'm just really disappointed the board didn't try and show a bit more ambition.

@ Andy. Neil Lennon is a Celtic fan sure, he'll certainly want the club to do well. But any decent manager would. And if the Celtic way is attacking teams then i'm afraid it's not exclusive to Celtic.

16.) 26 May 2019 08:09:35
I’m underwhelmed like a lot of us on here, we will probably get John park back again. The way Lawwell goes on in his statement you would think we had the best manager we could possibly get. I feel Lawwell just has the manager he can control a lot easier, even after the game Lennie said he would need guarantees before he would accept anything. Yet 30 mins later after a brief 5 min chat in the shower the job was accepted. What guarantees were offered during that 5 min chat?
He said he knows no better manager for having an eye for a player, when Lennie was here before he picked up quite a few but like others before him and after him quite a few were poor as well as we are generally only shopping in the 2-3 million pound market. With rumours that he offered Izzy a new deal, his determination to keep playing Lustig to the detriment of the team worries me slightly, yes I know he wants to be loyal but as good as servants these players have been, unfortunately their time is up. I aid a couple of weeks ago that there would be no chance of us spending a large fee for a player with Lennie in charge as he wouldn’t rock the boat. After us receiving 9 million for Rogers leaving and us taking the cheap route, I hope he’s given a large transfer chest to push us further away in our quest for nine. Lawwell has taken a massive gamble here I feel to protect his bonuses.

17.) 26 May 2019 11:47:36
I think Lennon was good as a cover manager as although not pretty at times he got the job done.
There was so many of those games that could have went the other way Hearts away and yesterday, Dundee away and Rangers at home to name a few.
Is it down to good management or good fortune that we won those games, maybe a bit of both.
His European record and transfer record have been very good in the past, and I like all good Celtic fans will be supporting him all the way.
If I’m honest though I am a little concerned at both our performances against that mob under Lennon and the 1 before it under Brendan, we can’t afford to give them a glimmer of hope which means qualification for champions league is a must to ensure we have the finances required to stay at the top.

18.) 26 May 2019 14:09:04
Very underwhelming and a total lack of ambition appointing Lennon. Lawwell clearly hasn't been watching any games since Lennon took over. I'd hope the "blueprint" Rodgers put in place is adhered to by Lennon. The whole fitness thing is a major concern under Lennon. So hopefully he has to stick with the strict fitness regime put in place by the snake. And hopefully no new deals for Lustig or Izzy either as they've served us well and we wish them well. I'd include Hendry in that list of deadwood too Turner1984 but Griffiths seriously!?

We've a good core of players to build the team around. Tierney, Ajer, McGregor, Christie, Griffiths, Edouard.

Out

Boyata, Gamboa, Lustig, Toljan, Benko, Izzy, Hendry, Gordon, De Vries, Commper, Bitton, Allen, Benyu, Mulumbu, Burke.

Most of these won't be missed as most are squad players and can free up a huge amount of wages we're possibly paying these over £200,000 a week in wages!

In

GK, RB, 2 x CB, LB, 2 x CM, CAM.

All to a decent enough quality. Possibly some of these will be loans. Benkovic loan return? Woodman/ Darlow? Harper in for a development fee? Leroy Fer on a free? Tomori? Diemers and/ or Maher signed from Eredivise? Turnbull signed from Motherwell? Plenty of speculation already.

As much as it's disappointing Lennon getting the job we must back him in the transfer market and we can all look forward to seeing the deadwood leave and hopefully some exciting new players signed and a better balance to the squad to push for 10 in a row.

19.) 26 May 2019 14:12:21
Selling Sinclair and Griffiths? Why?

20.) 26 May 2019 14:33:45
Because they don't want goals in our team cory.

21.) 26 May 2019 16:15:23
Turner1984, are you having a laugh? Griff and Sinclair are dead wood? When Griff comes back he'll be massive for us in the same way he was before he needed a break. Sinclair still has a lot to offer, the rest I agree with. HH.

22.) 26 May 2019 16:37:21
I guess the bhoys that think Lenny is a good choice hasn't seen any of the games since he has taken over NO clue NO plan B NO strategy NO 9 in a row.

23.) 26 May 2019 17:18:41
We will all get behind lennon, but we actually thought the board might show ambition. But as usual we go for cheap option AGAIN. As long as lennon does not get players like lustig, izzy, etc to re sign and actually get this clear out done and get new team together.
We have a great nucleus of young talent, with 5-6 great signings we could be great team again . let's hope neil gets the funds he needs . 🍀🍀.

24.) 26 May 2019 17:53:50
How anyone can be surprised out rubbishbag board went for their poodle is beyond me. I’m feeling sick at all the utter rubbish he’s a Celtic man. So are we all. Did we forget the turgid rubbish we endured the last time? Did nobody notice his abysmal tactics and team selections, especially at Mordor?

We have gone cheap again with a management mind set straight from the 70’s. Add to that a board who know he will demand f uck all and take whatever his puppet master will give him.

A sad day when it’s evident we have chucked it. Save me all this NFL vomit. As if him having a Tim name makes up for him being a rubbish manager.

Go f uck yer selves board. Well you better get someone in to help him. Remember if we will he kept Burke on for over 60 minutes at Ibrox. Our first half yesterday was one of the worst ever.

10iar just got even harder to achieve.

25.) 27 May 2019 19:28:09
Bob if LG came back and played to his ability then I agree, but it's a gamble, as for Sinclair I still think we could cash in a few quid on him and bring in someone with greater quality in a more concerning position.

26.) 27 May 2019 21:05:26
I’d replace Sinclair for Roberts cheaper and hungrier.

27.) 27 May 2019 21:56:33
Wrong wing. Roberts plays RW the same as Forrest and Shved and the returning Morgan as well as Dembele.

28.) 28 May 2019 11:59:56
Did I just read this isn't a good time to support Celtic .
Holy Cow! I have followed Celtic since mid '60's and apart from my early days with Big Jock, I can't remember a better time than now . Treble Treble and ongoing more to come Yet it isn't a good time to support Celtic .

I hate this negative statement that Celtic have went for the cheap option . Honesty I think that the cost Cheap or dear is not important , whether it is a player or manager the most important criteria is that it is the right man for job . I think the Board couldn't risk a "big name from Europe or wherever" as we couldn't afford time for new man to impose his new ways and style as 9 and 10 in a row is most important.

28 Mar 2019 21:46:32
Forrest straggling with a muscle injury according to Lennon. I'd go with Burke and Sinclair on the wings with Eddy up top I'd Forrest doesn't make it.

Ice Man

1.) 29 Mar 2019 05:53:09
That's a shame because I read an article saying Barisic could be out, meaning Halliday or Wallace would be at left back? Not sure, but Forrest's pace would leave either for dead. In that case it would have to be Burke.

2.) 29 Mar 2019 09:56:11
Another bloody injury get Burke on right he'll absolutely run riot against holliday.

24 Jan 2019 22:48:46
Isn't it great to see the genuine delight in Timo Weah's face due to the fact he's playing for Glasgow Celtic. The way he celebrated both his goals and interacted with the fans as well as the way he talks about the club in his interviews he seems genuinely honoured to be here. And to read his instagram page today he says that we are more than a football club, we are a family. He totally gets it. I'd love him to stay longer than his 6 month loan 🍀.

Ice Man

1.) 25 Jan 2019 02:23:55
Hope the wee man starts on Saturday let’s see him get a full ninety minutes 🍀.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 03:04:08
Cannot wait till wee get the rangers in our own pad and restore natural order. The pace through this team will destroy this team of overpayed passengers . Comon Celtic rap up the treble treble asap and dump Valencia 🍀 great days to be a Tim.

3.) 25 Jan 2019 06:13:50
Nice to see genuine delight in celebrations. Maybe some of the players giving him stick could show a bit more as too many these days seem to just shrug off scoring a goal. It's nicer to feel that connection. The boy Bayo coming in looks like he loves a celebration too. I think just that little bit of freshness in the attacking third will raise the bar.

4.) 25 Jan 2019 11:22:29
What players are giving him stick?

5.) 25 Jan 2019 11:25:27
Wylie Christie says they where winding him up all in good banter.

6.) 25 Jan 2019 11:52:31
About his celebration I think lol.

7.) 25 Jan 2019 13:01:59
It's cause when he scored his first goal he done about 5 celebrations at the once lol. all in jest though and apparently has been warmly welcomed.

8.) 25 Jan 2019 15:21:55
I completely agree. It's great to have such a someone with such a positive energy come in and appreciate what we're all about. I love how he gives the glory to God too. Very humble and he can only be a good influence on the rest of the squad with an attitude like that. The added bonus is that he also seems a bit tasty with the football :D.

9.) 25 Jan 2019 15:30:28
Awrite lol, cheers.

10 Jan 2019 11:50:25
Good to see big Benko in full training in Dubai. Injury must not have been as bad as first feared 👍🏻.

Ice Man

1.) 10 Jan 2019 12:04:18
hope it isn't to bad as he was our best ch apart from the gers game he has looked very good.

2.) 10 Jan 2019 13:30:03
What's the chances of getting him in on a permanent basis at end of the season?

3.) 10 Jan 2019 13:48:35
Nane unless we've got a spare 13mill lying around.

4.) 10 Jan 2019 13:56:36
Personally I thought he bottled in the last Glasgow Sevco Derby.

05 Jan 2019 13:32:35
Am hearing Celtic have withdrawn their £2m offer Bayo and have gone back in with a 6 month loan offer.

Ice Man

1.) 05 Jan 2019 16:06:59
Imagine the scenes.

2.) 05 Jan 2019 16:08:11
Some quarters saying a final bid of 2m take it or leave it. typical.

3.) 05 Jan 2019 16:21:34
We sell a 20mill striker and his poss replacement is in the 2m bracket and we baulk at the fee we never learn lawell at his best.

4.) 05 Jan 2019 17:19:37
That 20 million striker was bought in at under a million.
That's how we work. How hard is that to understand.
Bring them in make them better sell them on.

5.) 05 Jan 2019 18:43:38
Let's think about this rationally. How would the papers know what we have and haven't done in terms of bidding for a player?

I very much doubt the people involved are running to the paper to tell them every intricate part of the process as it happens. Which would suggest the papers are just guessing or are being fed from someone else professing to be in the know but who is also just guessing.

6.) 05 Jan 2019 18:54:29
They don't all have to cost under a million Kev83. We can push the boat out and pay 5mil to make 20mil. Still buisness. Jesus, we could spend 10mil to make 20. Obvioulsy not us, but your statements ish.

7.) 05 Jan 2019 19:12:09
That's right kev think a get that my point is there's 20 mill from the dembelle deal and were haggling over a couple of hundred thousand . How hard is that to understand.

8.) 05 Jan 2019 19:21:34
Holy I don't care how much we spend as long as the we get the right players.
But to say stop buy cheap because we have 20 million from dembele who we bought CHEAP is mental.
If we weren't buying cheap with him we would have missed out on the 20 million.

9.) 05 Jan 2019 19:23:58
I get your point Kev but once that business model has borne fruit to the tune of millions upon millions, shouldn't we then start to spend a bit extra for a more established level of player who we could still sell for big profit in 2 or 3 seasons whilst also improving our levels on the field? I'm happy with us going for this lad because we did spend big on Eddy but if we could do it in a couple of other key positions we could really kick on.

10.) 05 Jan 2019 20:23:34
Kevbhoy here's a question? Will spending the 5 10 or 20 million on one player guarantee that they will be more successful than the million pound player?
Or would it be better to scout properly and puck the best player for what we need?

Remember edouard cost around 9 million and he was a youth player.
A fecking youth player.

11.) 05 Jan 2019 20:25:48
I think what a lot of guys fail to grasp is, the money from the Dembele sale will be in next year's accounts and probably most of it will fill the hole of no champions league money and go to the wage bill.

12.) 05 Jan 2019 20:34:12
It takes a hell of a lot of money to provide ist class facilities, playing, coaching and training for our players . We may not be able to match the EPL wages but we have to do our darnest to give them the best facilities possible . These facilities are important in attracting top and Kung players who will eventually leave at big profit . Celtic shouldn't buy in a £10-12 or £15m player as no doubt it would create a problem in our close net dressing room.

13.) 05 Jan 2019 21:02:28
Kev83 nothing is a cert but I think an example of kev Bhoys point is benkovic, we had a chance at him last year for 6 or 7 Mill, baulked at the fee n now look, we'd bite the hand of Leicester for him.

I suppose we have with ntcham and eddy but If you have faith in the process release the funds.

14.) 05 Jan 2019 21:21:12
That all I am saying and kevs went mental just push the boat out a wee bit more. why lose a player we obviously want because of a few hundred grand it's nuts.

15.) 05 Jan 2019 22:33:15
Some people just want to spend the money, as a sort of symbol, like if you spend £5million on a player then you are guaranteed to get a good player, (wakey, wakey, no you are not) , and if you spend £1million on a player then you are guaranteed to get a not as good a player as the £5million pound player (again, wakey, wakey) , so these people would be quite happy if we spent £5million or more on an inferior player than the one we could get for £1million, because at least the board were showing intent.

I get that the lad Turnbull was a prospect but I can't understand why we are not prioritising areas of the field where's we are desperately short i. e RB, CH and striker. Both Lenny and Peter Lawwell have said they've been working on deals since February so where are they?

Ice Man

1.) 18 Jun 2019 22:35:07
🤔 god knows I’ve man I’ve been thinking the same thing.

2.) 18 Jun 2019 22:48:34
This signing clearly wasn't for us lads, sometimes it's written in the stars lol. In my opinion, his agent has had a lot to do with it, clearly. If he really wanted to come and was confident in his own ability, he would have instructed his agent to get it done. He knew he would get European football, the chance to win medals and the chance to go down in folklore. Unfortunately, sometimes that's not enough. We move on, I agree midfield is not a priority position, so let's get defensive positions filled and take it from there Hail hail all.

3.) 18 Jun 2019 23:09:30
I think because Turnbull is a prospect you can't ignore him, you have to prioritise him, you have to strike while the iron is hot, otherwise some one else will come in and snatch him away, or at least you have to make an effort, which is what we did, but Scottish clubs can't compete, in terms of wages, if there is interest from England,
As for the right back position, it must be attenteded to, Lustig has been a loyal servant, but he should have been let go two years ago, there are many potentially better right backs available in Europe, young rough diamonds, that need to be shaped and polished into real gems, but these guys never get a chance, because teams like Celtic play this loyalty card, he is a good guy, he understands the Celtic way, he is one of us, Ralston should have been given more game time, when he was available, but Lustig always got it for his experience, but looking back on the season, he made Ryan Kent look better than he actually is, I hope The rangers get him on loan again and we get a decent right back.

4.) 19 Jun 2019 01:10:20
Wee Mickey Johnston has more goals in fewer games than Ryan Kent!

He's only adored by that mob because he had 2 decent old for games and punched broody.

Pathetic!

If that's a success to them then ket them enjoy it, the boys bang average.

6/ 7 goals in a season isn't top standard in my book.

5.) 19 Jun 2019 01:40:08
I genuinely think he had no intention of signing and the saga was orchestrated to get Motherwell their transfer fee and induce a bidding war.

04 Jun 2019 09:43:05
I see Lenny in his last interview said we would be looking to sign British players this summer. I find this a bit strange given the overinflated market down south. There have been championship players valued at £20m and even in league one there was a £10m bid rejected for a player. Surely there's better value for money in certain European markets ie Scandinavia, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Ukraine and Croatia etc. Let's see what the summer brings.

Ice Man

1.) 04 Jun 2019 10:01:06
I found it strange also considering we have bought VVD, Wanyama and Moussa cheaply and sold them on for a good profit.

2.) 04 Jun 2019 10:06:52
I agree about the over-inflated market although I hope he includes Turnbull in that bracket. There may be other 'British' players that are currently playing abroad that would be more realistically priced?

3.) 04 Jun 2019 10:26:05
OAB i can see Turnbull going to England. We were linked with the boy 2 months ago how long does it take our club to get deals done. Have we not learnt from the McGinn embarrassment. If there is genuine interest of course. Maybe we are looking to the English Conference etc going by the leak.

4.) 04 Jun 2019 11:03:24
Ya the looking at British players like reports are saying we are leading the chase for £500,000 Ipswich's Dylan Crowe. Jesus christ here we go again back to the same rubbish as before. And not a mention of turnbull.

5.) 04 Jun 2019 11:03:49
Same old story dragging their heels trying to use the meerkat app for 2for1 on players.

6.) 04 Jun 2019 11:06:56
The transfer window ain't even open yet.

7.) 04 Jun 2019 11:38:25
So it's only Efe that can be announced officially 😂.

8.) 04 Jun 2019 11:43:05
£500,000 doesn’t buy first team players good enough to play in the CL and especially not players from relegated clubs, if this is Lawwell’s definition of backing the manager then as we all knew the reason for appointing Lenny, he is pushing a pail of sh*t around with a short handled stick and could easily come a cropper .

9.) 04 Jun 2019 11:46:29
It bought Dembele drewzy.

10.) 04 Jun 2019 11:57:23
The mousse was 500.000 Jackie mac was much the same Henrik wanyama to name a few.

11.) 04 Jun 2019 13:01:27
That may be the case for dembele but how much rubbish was bought in paying low transfer fees and running up wages costs who have failed. Plus 500,000 when getting Jackie mac joined in 95 and Larson in 97 is no where near what you get for 500,000 today. An 18 yr old from Ipswich is that price now. Sure a guy like Hendry cost Celtic 1.5 million.

12.) 04 Jun 2019 13:03:48
Mally there are not many bargains going around nowadays, we need players who are ready to step into the first team of at the very least of a similar if not better quality to the ones they’re replacing, the next two season’s are not the time for projects, we are going for 9 and 10iar .

13.) 04 Jun 2019 13:18:10
The British Isles route has worked well for Lennon in the past with his previous signings including Forster, Matthews, Wilson, Ledley, Brown, Commons, Stokes and Hooper.

14.) 04 Jun 2019 17:49:57
Behave yourself! £500,000 can buy a real class player provided there is a good scouting network in place which we already have.

Dembele was going to cost Tottenham £6m before we got him. He absolutely destroyed Man City in Champions League for us and I would not be surprised if he ended up at Real Madrid/ Barcelona in near future.

Look at the players we managed to get for £0 over the years one of our best was Ledley. Was gutted when he left.

16.) 05 Jun 2019 17:47:11
Dembele did cost that but I don't think Dylan Crowe would bring in millions if we resold him ( if we do sign him ) .

Have I missed something Ed? Hope all is well mate. Please don't think for one second us fellow supports don't appreciate all the hard work you do in making this a fantastic page as has been the case for years. Don't let the morons get you down 🍀.

Ice Man

{Ed007's Note - Thanks mate. The morons don't bother me, it's water off a duck's back and we all get a laugh seeing how angry the morons can get. It's more to do with whether I want to keep spending so much of my time on a Neil Lennon led Celtic or not.}

1.) 28 May 2019 11:50:35
Had to do some soul searching myself this weekend ed been asked to take a big role in running our csc and accepted it but when the announcement was made on Saturday I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to take myself back up let alone get others there. I always argue wi people down here that even tho the standard of football isn’t the best I travel all over for the love of my team and that’s the thoughts I’m going with now the board take us for fools constantly but in all fairness when has that not been the case. Fk the board and their contempt for us fans but I’ll always back the team.

{Ed007's Note - Oh I'll always back the team, Welshy but do I really want to commit to 8-12 hours per day of my free time to something that doesn't inspire or motivate me to do so? I've been wanting to get more into video game streaming on Twitch so perhaps my time would be better spent concentrating on that.
Or I could try and get a job but nobody's going to employ a guy on crutches along with the rest of my health problems.}

2.) 28 May 2019 12:20:58
You'll be sadly missed mate the time and effort you put in is I credible . No wonder you lose the plot now and again some of the posts are ridiculous. but hope you have a change of heart for what it's worth 👍👍.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate.}

3.) 28 May 2019 12:25:47
Sorry bud that wasn’t a dig in any way was more highlighting my own thoughts and battles with the appointment.

{Ed007's Note - I never thought it was a dig lol.}

4.) 28 May 2019 15:49:37
What games do you play and do you have a channel set up Ed?

{Ed007's Note - I mostly play FIFA mate but would be doing other games like RDR2, golf and hopefully retro-games. I'm on Twitch most of the day as well as on here but only watching and chatting for now.
I did have everything setup, - I was given an Elgato capture card as gift and saved up for a decent webcam and mic - only to then find out my wee lappy wasn't powerful enough to run streamlabs & stream on Twitch at the same time so I'm hoping on winning the lottery while I try and save up for a new PC.}

5.) 28 May 2019 16:31:29
I go in and watch twitch most days since I've not been working while I wait for hip surgery you will need to put your channel name up when you get it sorted I'll give you a follow.

{Ed007's Note - Will do mate, thanks and good luck with the op when it happens.}

6.) 28 May 2019 16:44:34
Cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

7.) 28 May 2019 17:04:42
I've never post before but been reading for years and you do a brilliant job ed keeping this site going I hope you stay. If you let me know your paypal details I'll drop you 20 quid towards that new pc on payday HH.

{Ed007's Note - First off welcome to the site buddy and secondly, that is so kind of you but you really don't need to do that.}

8.) 28 May 2019 17:39:36
Well the offers there. set up a funding page I'm sure all the posters would fire in something to help after all the work you've put in.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks again for the offer 👍

9.) 28 May 2019 17:39:46
I said before that as appreciation for ed007 hard work a wee whip round to upgrade Ed’s computer set up would benefit everyone. I’m still up for that
Great work and you’ll be sorely missed if you go.

As for Neil Lennon
My only shinning light is that if he does the 10IAR and moves on, (without messing up the foundations laid by Ronnie and Rodgers) the faces of the dark side will be immense.
It certainly dulled the impact of the treble, fair play he stepped in and delivered but I didn’t want him to be offered the permanent position.
I hope that questions are asked at the AGM regarding who applied, who was interviewed etc. The board should not be able to hoodwink the support like this.
Lenny has done his bit and then some for Celtic but I felt walking after the treble treble was the best course of action. Then again if he delivers the 10.

{Ed007's Note - You guys have given me more than enough with the Christmas charity collections and my wife's Walk for Dementia - what's that about £2800 in total for charity which is fantastic - and that was hard enough to ask for without collecting for money for a new PC. I'm a bit funny that way and when you see what goes on over on other sites regarding money I don't want to be judged like that.}

10.) 28 May 2019 18:23:41
I've seen go fund me pages for much less needed things to be fair ed lol I'd donate.

{Ed007's Note - Aye I've seen some crackers too 😂 OK I'll think about it, maybe.}

11.) 28 May 2019 21:10:04
Fair play ed
Your a gent, but anyone who uses our pages would never judge you like that. I completely understand where your coming from.
All the best.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate.}

On sky sports Lennon had been offered the job.

Ice Man

1.) 25 May 2019 18:23:23
I would be happy with this. With 10 ina row Lennon knows the club and loves the club. He would want it more than any one. In his interview after the game he spoke about our slow play, that he said he hates. We are still playing the br way. So if it is true that Lennon has the job we need to get behind him and hope the board those too.

2.) 25 May 2019 18:24:28
Well I for one am not amused by this appointment.
Board have gone for the cheap option again.
Yes I know he's a Celtic man, blah, blah, blah, but bitterly disappointed.
Hopefully I'll be proved wrong next season, but gutted right now.

3.) 25 May 2019 18:30:19
Eh lads who would you all realistically think would come to Celtic and Scottish football and do a better job? How many trophies has Neil Lennon won as a manager a Celtic manager. he is who I wanted and I am delighted he has the job as I feel are the players! 🙂🍀🏆🏆🏆.

4.) 25 May 2019 18:35:01
Board have tried to pull a fly one announcing today as well, thinking there will be no backlash from it.

5.) 25 May 2019 18:36:42
I can see why they offered the job to him after answering the call; pushing on for eight in-a-row and securing the cup/ treble.
The quality of football however, has been well below par and performances have been lacking fluidity and goals - although it could be said the seasons events and injuries may have taken their toll? Honestly, the appointment does not fill me with anticipation and excitement and it probably won't fill opponents with fear and dread.
However, now is the time to celebrate another historic event and superb achievement - delivered by determination and the winning mentality that sets us above the rest and hopefully will continue.

6.) 25 May 2019 19:21:46
To be honest didn't really care who got the job and the only thing i hate about the appointment is that it has really divided the support and seems to be more favourable to rangers supporters than celtic supporters. When Neil leads us to the 10 we can thank them for all the prayers and sacrifices they offered up to get Neil the job.

7.) 27 May 2019 19:35:42
Best man for job, if he is given the funds and help to buy the players N L wants for the team.

22 May 2019 15:41:36
A Kilmarnock supporting mate of mine messaged me to say he's been told Neil Lennon is high on their list of candidates to replace Steve Clarke.

Ice Man

1.) 22 May 2019 16:03:37
Wouldn't surprise me. I was thinking he could end up at the sheep after McInnis but truth I think he's got the Celtic job.

2.) 22 May 2019 16:13:32
Type of club where he would do well.

Hoping our club announce a good level manager right after the cup final 🙏.

3.) 22 May 2019 16:52:19
Nobody knows who is going to be the manager. According to the bookies yesterday it was moyes and rafa pushed out to 6_1. Now today Rafa is favourite again. I just hope its not Lennon, since he came back the football has been dire and his substitutions have been bizzare.

4.) 22 May 2019 18:01:18
Benitez has agreed to stay at Newcastle so it won’t be him.

5.) 22 May 2019 18:52:24
I really hope you are correct Ice Man.

6.) 22 May 2019 23:06:51
There's no smoke without fire and if killie are stating that, then suggests to me they have information he will be available or Lennons agent has approached them.

I'm confident this time next week new manager will be announced and it won't be Lennon.

If we lose (which I don’t think we will) we gat a bye in the next round of Europa League qualifier and enter in the third round due to there being an odd number of teams.

Bhoys I’m just playing devils advocate. What if the lad is on £900 a week at Motherwell and we have offered him £1000. We don’t know the story. But to answer your question Kev no I wouldn’t break the wage structure for the boy. I’d be happy if he signed but not gutted if he didn’t. My priority would be 2x centre half, Rb and a striker. We’ll see what happens.

There’s two sides to every story. The offer on the table from Celtic could have been very poor.

Despite his illness and injury Kouassi has had opportunities to make an impression and has been piss poor. People talk about a half decent performance against Zenit but that’s it. Not good enough.

According to the reports Celtic have yet to make a bid although they are in negotiations with Motherwell. Barnsley’s bid was apparently well below the £2m being reported. Hopefully we can get this done soon.

Not a joke Kev83. In any game I have seen him he constantly gives the ball away and gets caught in possession. Nowhere near good enough for our football club. He had an ok game against Zenit and some fans are clinging to that saying there’s a player there. Not for me there are far better footballers at our club and probably more to come.

If Kouassi gets fit and stays fit he’s still a piss poor footballer.

Not for me. Wasn’t the worst defender but didn’t really stand out and was a bit error prone.

I really don’t think a 19 year old should be worried about earning £10k a week over 4 years. Along with endless bonuses he would be one wealthy young man.
