Beaton gave them 23 free kicks 2day . I spent the rest of today sticking bets on multiple other games I was checking the stats on them all . 3 epl a lower division game and a good few from Europe the most free kicks awarded to any other team anywhere else was 12.

No point trying to blame the refs, they got all the big calls correct. Scoring 3 goals at Ibrox and not coming away with all 3 points is on us! Can't be too downhearted though as we came away without a defeat which was the main objective. They don't have the mentality to come to Parkhead and get a positive result no matter how much their deluded fans hype them up.

{Ed007's Note - They got all the big calls correct? That penalty decision is one of the worst I have EVER seen made in professional football, if that hadn't been given we would have went on to win that game very comfortably.
The referee and VAR were all over the place today, just ask any neutral what they thought of that game today and see how they thought of the ref/VAR performance.}

2.) 07 Apr 2024 21:37:42
Bhoy88 where you bagging glue watching the game. Jesus wept. Some of the decisions today were the worst i've seen in 30 years of watching the hoops. hell mate.

3.) 07 Apr 2024 22:54:12
Totally agree Ed.

{Ed007's Note - ??

4.) 08 Apr 2024 00:36:47
That decision to give a penalty was a disgrace. As for cheatin Beaton he is one of the poorest referees I have ever seen. He should be nowhere near refereeing a derby game.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not even looking at it with green tinted glasses, there was decisions and incidents that TRIFC will be raging at.
It was an embarrassing show of incompetence in a game that is the league's selling point across the world.
If only every club could get by petty parochial nonsense and agree about taking steps to improve standards, if nobody is happy about the standards - including TRIFC - why aren't all the clubs pushing for change?}

5.) 08 Apr 2024 09:48:30
Ed, the refereeing standard in Scotland is extremely poor, not a week goes by, that there does not seem to be some sort sre of issue regarding refereeing standards or issues with VAR.

Until all clubs come together and seriously look at improving standards, then we are going to get these incompetent referees giving baffling and inconsistent decisions on a weekly basis.

Beaton yesterday was a disgrace and clearly incompetent.

{Ed007's Note - I can't disagree with any of that, Paul ??

Well Done Celtic Ladies ?.

3.) 12 May 2023 08:19:45
Was some 2nd half performance btw . superb at corners unlike the blokes ?.

4.) 12 May 2023 11:41:16
A passionate individual who doesn't hold back! Great 2nd half performance. Angeball methods are being played in the womans game/ youth/ B team etc. Passing out from the back nearly caused the B team the Cup but they will learn and improve.

No having a pop at anyone just thrown this out for debate . lot of Celtic fans including on here in a rage we don’t play with a big bruisin cdm in Europe!? That other mob do it every game and they’re breaking records for conceding goals!? 6 goals in one half last night right past big lundstrum . like a hot knife throo sh! +e.

Vin1

{Ed007's Note - Liverpool have Fabinho as there CDM. I don't remember asking for a big bruising CDM, what we need is a CDM with a bit of a physical presence who can tackle (McGregor can't) and that can play a bit.
Man City have Rodri, Chelsea have Kante, Bayern Munich have Kimmich - all good teams play a CDM and have done for years, Busquets at Barca, Keane at Man Utd, Viera at Arsenal etc etc.}

1.) 13 Oct 2022 12:12:56
Aye mate a don’t disagree and would love a player half as good as one of them . just making the point they played with the stereotypical physical cdm and got the biggest pumping of the the tournament so far last night!?

{Ed007's Note - I'd like to think we would be looking at better quality players than diddies like Lundstram for the position - if we are looking for one.}

2.) 13 Oct 2022 12:19:11
As far as I know we have very rarely gone down the road of 'big bruising' CDM but looking back I can remember players like Bobby Murdoch, Bertie Auld, Davi Hay, Johannes Edvalsson, Murdo McLeod, Roy Aitken, Peter Grant and more recently Stan Petrov, Victor Wanyama and Bitton and Broony, who could all play a bit; as well as tackling competitively. Some of them in a variety of positions. IMO this type of player would be a good addition.

{Ed007's Note - What I wouldn't give to have Paul Lambert in there just now.}

3.) 13 Oct 2022 12:22:44
Ed is spot on here in his comments about a CDM, in my opinion we need a few players who are good in their position but are not afraid of the physical side of the game, they don't have to be big they just need to be brave. Too many of our players don't like a tackle and the number of times we lose the ball in a 50/ 50
challenge is alarming.

{Ed007's Note - ?

4.) 13 Oct 2022 12:44:49
Good point limerickcelt about the bravery . does anyone think else wee Abada didn’t fancy it on Tuesday night? Didn’t seem much in that knock? Same with kyogo against the currant buns with the shoulder injury that miraculously healed up the next day?

5.) 13 Oct 2022 14:25:29
paul lambert was your complete midfielder had everything.

6.) 13 Oct 2022 15:13:55
I thought Mc Gregor’s lay off would have seen Ablidgaard get more time. Am I correct in thinking he is a CDM?

{Ed007's Note - Yep.}

Multiple food banks in Scotland feeding the poor to close on Monday to pay respect to a privileged multi millionaire . definition of irony?

ad the hospital operations being cancelled also so people may pass as a result of a funeral for a 96-year-old who lived the life of luxury.

2.) 17 Sep 2022 11:29:28
If you count the dosh being spent on this and the jubilee we could have housed most of the homeless across Britain.

{Ed007's Note - Throw in the cost of Luggie's coronation and all the changes needed to rebrand everything to do with ER2. How many hospitals, doctors and nurses could all of this pay for? How many poorer families & pensioners homes could that heat this coming winter?
The sick part of it is that while they sit there worth billions it is our money that's paying for it all.
I'm no great fan of the cheese eating surrender monkeys, the French, but I can't help admire their approach to royalty in the late 18th century.}

3.) 17 Sep 2022 11:38:26
‘Thousands of children have been treated for malnutrion in Scottish hospitals, figures show, promoting concern amid soaring food prices. ’

‘Glasgow, where a third of children are estimated to be living in poverty, has seen the highest rates over the past four years. ’

(GLASGOW HERALD)

But stop the world and spend millions to plant auld Liz.

4.) 17 Sep 2022 12:10:14
With their countless castles, palaces and stately homes lying empty most of the year they could house the homeless when they say they are such a loving and caring family.

5.) 17 Sep 2022 13:03:44
The queen owns that much land if she sold it all she would make 33 trillion . let that sink in. How many people would that house or feed it makes me feel sick while we are all struggling they have all that money and we have to pay for this.
