We need a goal scorer that’s going to bang in over 25 a season in the league.

I agree that out strikers should be scoring more goals. The fact they are not doing so is a down to a combination of factors.
1. They don't always get good service when they get into good positions.
2. They miss chances.
3. Part of their job is to make decoy runs and link up the play, which creates chances for others.

It’s a bit of the bird and the egg scene in my opinion . If strikers were red hot scoring say every other chance, they would get far better supply, as it is we are playing game with players thinking Kühn and Maeda are maybe more likely to score and we are maybe feeding them more than our two strikers .
From Jan on last season we had good hopes of the player coming on after 60-70: mins scoring . Idah scored very important goals in that period, we are not getting them this season.

Under Brendan’s system we don’t get the best out of Kyogo but he is still an excellent player and the best finisher at the club, if we get the ball into him he will score but we are not doing it enough .

Maybe Alex Valle will start tonight to take the heat off the GT thing. Then bring on GT for him if there’s been a good performance and a few goals already scored. Let GT get some appreciation from the fans kind of thing.
Don’t think Tierney will be here until the summer if he does come.
Think Rodgers was spot on that there was some anxiety after the Ibrox defeat with the fans.
Rodgers needs to realise that while he’s busy in the dugout - the rest of us are pumped up and have not distractions while watching it all.

The Celtic strength and conditioning team have done a marvellous job preparing a very fit squad . This season seems to me to be one of our best at not having hamstring and muscle strains etc . I wonder is part of this due also to our approach to the games. Our players mix it up, from working hard and fast putting opponents under pressure and working the ball forward and quickly which means our players are working hard, to slowing game right down, controlling the pace at all times . Celtic play fast and try to over work, opponents and at Celtic’s choosing slow game down and every Celtic player gets a break which helps to keep us injury free .

Do you not rate Kvistgaarden edd, av seen he has 10 goals in 12 games in Belgium super league but must admit don’t know much about him apart from seeing him mentioned on our site a few times.
{Ed007's Note - It's Brondby in the Danish league he plays for, 38 goals in 109 games at that level isn't worth the money Brondby want, if we could get him for a couple of million but they supposedly want at least 8 million Euros with add ons, go and watch videos of him, he's not a very good footballer.

Good window is sorting lb, letting palma go and replacing, I think we need to prepare for a hetate and possibly kyogo departures, so we need to be thinking dynamic midfielder and striker .
Yang should also go on loan with decent money spent on another / or good loan
When teams successful it’s hard to continually think we need better, but truth is we need a cb lb dcm acm winger and striker and that’s all to impact first team,
With our points difference and real opportunity to wrap league up early it would be really good to get some youngsters into team, pace rawnesss enthusiasm is amazing to see when they burst onto scene, it’s sad that we are having to buy our Scottish quota rather than produce them as there getting snapped up out our b team very early, and that’s in no way the clubs fault.

For me a good window would be getting a CB in better than what we have.
If we can't sign Valle permanently we need 2 LB's, a true first choice and someone who will push them.
2 wingers, one to compete with Maeda as first choice on the left and one to back up Khun and finally a Striker.
I know we won't get all of the ones I mentioned but expect 3 at least.

AJ looked like he’d been rushed back. Scales was unsettled. Did Taylor do anything useful at all? Hatate was rotten. They squeezed the life out of our midfield.
We should have low blocked them. All that possession but no end product.

4-3-3 will not always work.
We could have done a 3-5-2 or 4-5-1 but as many have mentioned it was all like for like.

FFP has been replaced by the Financial Sustainability Regulations. It targets 3 areas. The no overdue payables rule, the football earnings rule, and the squad cost rule. I think bizarrely the cap for squad cost is being phased in at 90, 80 then 70% of club revenues which seems a lot of wiggle room for clubs to start with. As far as I can tell the football earnings rule can be exploited by rich owners for club improvement purposes but not the playing squad itself.

I think Sead has been brought in to make sure we don’t put too much pressure on some of the younger ones. I mean Abada is what 20? O’Riley is 21? So the rotation is also needed to protect the young ones a little as well as injuries, schedule, recovery etc. I also think that Haksabanovic could operate more centrally. So I don’t think players will be missing out. Ange has the players he wants for the positions he wants covered and they’ll all get enough games. Ideguchi and McCarthy might not get a lot but they are possibly good options to bring into Domestic cup games if we’re in a comfortable position.
