Hi Ed, Sorry for your loss bud, i know how your feeling, my mother in law passed away 8 weeks ago from cancer at only 55, it' very difficult but all you can do is be there for your wife. My thoughts are with you and your family.

{Ed007's Note - Mentally she went downhill pretty rapid since Christmas as the Alzheimers really gripped her, Jamie, but it was actually septicaemia that killed her. I wasn't pretty and was probably for the best but that's easy for me to say as she wasn't my mum.}

Agree lads this should have been done years ago but alteast we have the opportunity to back this now and get as many people behind it as we can. Tommy was and always will be Mr Celtic. Still a huge loss. Every know and again i have a listen to From Paradise to Paradise or The Tommy Burns tribute by Charlie and The Bhoys. Both incredible songs with great lyrics.

The player in the Swedish league I'd go for is pawel cibiki can play wide right left and cf. and why no mgregor who was probably our best midfielder last season. I also think there is too much anticipation of the bhoy ajer if he isn't a world beater in his first few appearances the hype could turn on him.

The bulk of this squad have been poor in Europe in the past three seasons and even assuming the new manager can get a wee bit extra out of them, I still think we are three players short of the experience and quality we require.
It's encouraging that we are gradually off-loading fringe, flopand surplus players and I hope we can make a couple of decent signings through the spine of the team when the transfer window is open.

He came quite openly against signing Roberts on six month deal saying it would only half one club Manchester city.
