5.) 05 Sep 2016 23:53:00
Thanks Stan, a lot of people don't like talking about it but jeez. I was told at 30 there was a 40percent chance of getting within 10 years and 60 percent within 20, initially taught procession don't win games.
But still bait the old sunlotion on. Maybe inevitable but why make it easy. Got my first sist removed a week before my 24th birthday.
All the best to your father. Hail hail.

Great game last, score and the performance. As a few have said every player had a good game, brown looks back to his best, as I've been saying you can see it game by game, rogic was quality and Sinclair looks like he will be a big player 4 us. McGregor I thought was everywhere winning balls starting moves n played really well, on form so hard to leave him out. If he keeps playing like that he will definitely nail down a place.
Forrest I hope has now hit the form we know he has but hopefully consistently, Rd had him playing well last season early on but as the season wore on his consistency just wasn't there, it's been his problem 4 years now, that n his final ball but I'm hoping that will all improve.
We won't play like that in every game but the high pressing game, quick movement n passing is how we need and should be playing. Long may it continue. Credit to br again.

Spot on Jim n ken, Roberts needs to start every game, we will be able to get him for a good fee, ed confirmed city wouldn't be difficult to deal with, certainly in terms of his future value 5 to 6 million would be a steal, he would be well worth it, magic player.
As for other signings, happy with whoever Brendan brings in, we r now looking at a better class of player n paying better wages for the right type of player, Ed n a few others have been banging on about this for a while n u not only get a better quality of player but if team improvss n competition for places improvss n it's a win win.

88 and 89 season are some of my favourite memories of Celtic, loved that team and love watching footage from then. Caesar as manager, we also had some real quality in that period. like you JimTim, wish I could have seen that season properly, game by game, I was 8 and only got to see games on TV at that time.
13 Jan 2017 21:46:01
Hope so lads, wee paddy is a quality player n for me should be a starter week in week out. Hoping he sees morecregular game time as I feel we r a better team with the wee man starting n him Sinclair rogic n dembele is a quality forward line.
09 Dec 2016 19:07:18
Wee man just needs a few starts n some goals n I'm sure that will start tonight, we should be well up for the game tonight n a good victory, happy to see mackaysteven with some game time, looked good when he came on against city.

Spot on again Ed folk moan about us not signing players who will take us to the next level, n feel that we should be a big team, act like a big team yet r happy to lap up Barcelona etc with a small team mentality, i don't care who we play to me Celtic r always better n we can beat anybody on our day. I hate this clapping other teams fans n players n were happy so long as we're in the champions league. Not me I want to see us in there n competing n for the management players board n fans to show a big club mentality as that's what we r.
Hail hail n what a victory today.
PS agree completely about Henrik, nostalgia doesn't win games.

I think we have 3 great pairings at centre back now n on form probably boyata n schviatchenko for me, at the moment although I think big simu is class.
Thought we controlled the ball overall, Hamilton were organised n got in amongst us which made us play back the way a bit more in the 1st half, dembele 1st was a belter. 2nd half I thought we were much better, gms came onto a game specially taking players on. We do miss Roberts n rogic in the attacking 3rd though.
However solid 3 points and another win for the mighty Glasgow Celtic.
Here we go ten in a row.

In my opinion he did not deserve the sack, winning the league, probably the biggest achievement Leicester have had for me should have earned him sum kudos n especially more time.
I don't think Leicester will or would go down, it's a bad period for them but they have enough quality to see the m stay up.
As for Rd, the Ed's constantly put people right on here about various things n yet people still choose to talk wet.
First season we looked quality, n should have won a deserved treble, 2nd season Rd was let down by the board, as well as players n big Simo n Erik were fought in too late for me n too many lesser quality players were forced upon him, that was on lawell n park n their transfer policy at that time, which fortunately has changed. If only they had allowed Rd more say on who left n who came in we'd have signed a better quality of player which we had done to an extent in the 1st season, albeit loans.
As well as all the things people scoffed at, 24 hour athletes, sports science, diet, fast passing, high pressing, attacking football n being able to play the same way in league or Europe as well as what he wanted in terms of trading facilities etc, all of which Brendan is doing n people r totally on board with it, so in my opinion, n I don't care what the haters think or want to say, he got around deal from our support, board, backroom staff n unprofessional players.
Ranieri also won the league so clearly is a good manager, annoys me all this good guy tag, yeh he's a nice guy but he s clearly a great man manager as he got players playing way above their level, as well as improving them as another poster said some of those players probably wouldn't have won that league medal without him or anywhere else.
He 100% in my opinion deserved more time n respect, not to mention, despite the easier group they had took them through the group stages in europe n I hate how football is thse days, so money orientated which is why it annoyed me so much last season too see so many not run through a brick wall, not just for the manager, for the club for the fans n that was a slap in the face to us as well as the manager.
Celtic is the greatest club in the world, the history, the great players, the great teams and managers and the greatest fans (most but not all haha) so any player we have should always give 100%, that's the very least we should expect.

Big Erik n simo r a great pairing, and I'm glad for boyata too as he had been back playing well under Rd, was going with Belgium n then got injured. Main thing for me is he looks like he's getting confidence in his abilities again, there was always a player there, I don't think the boo bhoys helped during last season either n every player needs to be confident.
It's what yogi Hughes said Tommy burns would say to him, you can't do what they forwards can do but they can't do what u can do.
Play to your strengths n play with confidence n freedom. Footballs a simple game that too many want to complicate.
Ed I'm like u hard to pick a favour of say who u think is better but probably, only just big Erik for me, reminds me of cannavaro, height wise, stature, their superb aerial ability and quality on the ball. Big simo can play, strong great in the air n looks quality along with Erik, it's an area I feel we are strong, specially when both r fit.
Have to say Rd was unlucky simo got injured when he did as we were looking strong with them both playing. Big miss.

couldn't believe that scud bucket on sly spurts giving it they would back the board to get the right man, that's what happens when he's the lackie I suppose. wasn't too long ago pep warbiola was ruling the world and the next England manager in waiting, suppose that would be at subbuteo.
Also was it my hearing or did when they asked it who should be the next manager the sevconian said he should be? He sure has that sevco look down to a tee.
You just wonder if the gullibles will ever wake up.
too busy trying to make up a rivalry with us to realise they are an irrelevance and nobody would lift an eyelid if the newco went bust, except the media and sevconians of course.
06 Feb 2017 20:53:47
Couldn't believe we even allowed simo to speak to anyone, he looked quality under Rd, got good game time n played through an injury as most know, out for a while but what I saw of him felt he was class with big Erik alongside him.
As for boyata as Ed said he was going with Belgium as if u look at his form at that time, he was actually playing well, though u couldn't tell due to all the Rd haters finding fault with everything n constantly berating him among others.
As Ed and JimTim have already said we are strong in that department n with the players on board with the 24 hour athlete thinking, which they should already have been the last 2 seasons.
we should see many improve or at least everything is there to improve them but it's up to them if they want to be the best or just stay as they are, right building blocks in place can only benefit the club as a whole now n in the future.
