Ed, have you heard anything about Celtic trying to sign Bojan?
{Ed007's Note - I haven't mate but we seem to be linked with him every time he's available. I'd imagine his wages would be a major stumbling block and considering he's contracted to Stoke until 2020 there will be a significant transfer fee involved too.}

Cheers Ed. I thought he would be a bit out our price range. I was just wondering because a few rumours have been floating about. I think it would be great signing if we managed to pull it off.

Was griffiths not a bit of a problem as well before he came to Celtic? Not dissing you ED just saying players can change in a different environment.

I am a big AC Milan fan and can say first hand that Bojan's attitude is not what is required in the Celtic dressing room. The guys got bags of talent and, when he is on his game, is a world beater however as ED said he is far too inconsistent.
I've not been a massive fan of Roberts based on many of the times I've seen him this season, mainly because I fee he flatters to deceive. However if he could continue to perform like he did against Rangers when he came on, I would rather see us pursue making his deal permanent than fire money in to Bojan who seems like a mercenry to me.
I saw an article that mention Fabian Delph, which I think will be on big money so not realistic, but that's the kind of player I'd like to see at Celtic Park. Guys that made the wrong choice in going to a bigger team and not getting their chance with something to prove because at the end of the day, they have the ability in abundance. Similar to Sinclair and in the past big Sutton. They have that bit between their teeth and Rodgers is the man to help them recapture their best form.
{Ed001's Note - Delph is not just extremely inconsistent (and not very good anyway) but also one of the worst mercenaries of the lot. Just check out his words a day or two before moving to Man City, about how he would not be going there and wanted to stay at Villa. Then City offered him more money so he went. If you are ruling out mercenaries, then he is one of the worst. Not sure how you can rule out Bojan for the same reasons but still want Delph.}

Yeah definitely won't be seeing either of them in the hoops.
I never actually said I want Delph, I was mentioned him as I read an article on him being linked to Celtic. I was meaning we should look at guys that have something to prove along the lines of Sutton who was a disaster at Chelsea and wanted to prove the doubters wrong.
There's a lot of great talent out there but for me, with the way the team are playing and with rogic and KT to come back in, is there any real need to take players in that won't strengthen the team? I feel we need more players for back up more so than starters but that's only my opinion.
The only player I've actually seen us linked with that I have been really excited about is Mutch, think he is a great player and can add to the team and Rodgers' philosophy of work hard for the team.

Alrite guys I am raising money for the Celtic Foundation. I will be going with them to Blantyre, Malawi in June 2018 to help renovate schools and help with feeding children in need. We will be working with Mary's Meal and going to different areas in the 10 day we will be there. If anyone can help with this it would be really appreciated.

whats everyomes thoughts on Bitton? i'm watching this game and i know its a pre season game but i think he is far too slow on the ball and slows the whole temp of the game. He did it a lot last season but Delia stuck with him.

He's lazy and gets caught in possession too much, is too soft in the tackle and as slow as a wet week in Ardrossan.
He seems to have went backwards since he got the new contract and should be punted - apart from that he's OK.

I think LG has been off the mark for ages. I was watching him shoot in the warm up today and missed a lot and was getting very frustrated with himself. Something is not right with him at the moment and when he does play I think he can be selfish because he isn't scoring.

I think the 67th minute will continue for a good few years. Last night the atmosphere was flat partly to do with the ban on GB and partly to do with the performance. We tried to get the songs going but the team didn't perform last night.
