Turnbull will be kept for champions league home grown status. Won't be leaving mate.

2.) 01 Sep 2023 11:41:29
I think BR likes Turnbull and will persevere with him.

3.) 01 Sep 2023 12:30:40
I think he’ll go out on loan. Can’t afford to take the chance with another half of season with him either including the injuries we already have. Granted a top player on the day, but keeping the fitness levels up and staying injury free just won’t happen. Another reason why were so keen to hold onto OReilly in that position.

4.) 01 Sep 2023 12:43:16
That’s not going to serve anyone well. Turnbull who looked like a player when he arrived has failed to deliver too many times.

We are seriously lacking physicality and dig in the midfield……. we will suffer if we don’t rectify this. You can’t have or keep the ball all time, you need someone to win it back. We don’t have one player in midfield who can do that.

If we stick with a lightweight midfield, I do fear for us domestically, never mind Europe…. Be happy to be proved wrong ?.

Palmaonthewing love it ?.

6.) 01 Sep 2023 15:29:48
What about the South Korean Bhoy Kwon thought he was meant to a rock solid CDM why isn't he playing.

7.) 01 Sep 2023 15:52:40
perhaps because he doesn't look like he can even control the ball from the little I have seen of him. Hopefully he will settle in and improve because he is a big lump of a boy.

Well madam definitely lived up to my nickname for him in that game, he chased everything that moved, pestered the defence all day and finally stung them with a cracking goal. the Japanese wasp.

That pass to O'Riley with his arse was pure class too ?.

2.) 24 Sep 2023 11:35:33
It goes down as an ass-ist.

3.) 24 Sep 2023 12:26:02
He was outstanding what an engine.

4.) 24 Sep 2023 13:44:44
If we can create a hybrid of the two and call him matteada we are going to be gazzilionaires.

5.) 24 Sep 2023 15:45:08
He scored a great goal and his energy is second to none, I just hope he can fine tune his finishing a little more But a great player to have.

6.) 24 Sep 2023 19:36:21
If he had a final baw he'd be worth 100 million.

Right lads, quick question, once ccv is fit I expect him to come straight back into team, does Philips partner him or one of our own young lads.

1.) 04 Sep 2023 06:05:54
I think after the game yesterday Scales should continue to play CB as he was solid yesterday.

2.) 04 Sep 2023 07:27:40
Once all fit a reckon it will be Ccv/ Philips unless at sumpoint he goes with a 3:4:3 in some games especially at home, then 1 of the 2 new bhoys will come into it. Tho he was immense yesterday a still think Scales will be a bit part player or try him at Lb. His stock has certainly shot up from yesterday and probably earn us a few bob if not happy sitting on bench.

3.) 04 Sep 2023 07:31:07
It will depend on who is most comfortable on the left side because CCV plays on the right.

There's a massive difference when Souttar plays on the left to accommodate Goldson because Souttar looks very uncomfortable on the left.

I think it will be between Phillips and Nawrocki who partners CCV.

4.) 04 Sep 2023 07:54:39
Imo it will be ccv and rocky with maybe a 3 at times. abd I would give scales a run at lb he can't be worse than the 2 we have at present.

5.) 04 Sep 2023 08:01:20
We know nothing about Philips. I would like to see big Rocky partner CCV. In the CL my concern is LB. Big Scales was excellent, big Lager was ropey too often and he needs time. I thought young Holme put a marker down to jump ahead of Turnbull, who I thought was poor and d the game mostly passed him by. Calum and Matt were excellent. Great vistory at their midden and good to see us play a lot better. They couldn’t get the ball off us and we could have scored 4. One was enough though and well done all. If they cants have difficulty against us with a weakened team, when everyone is back and firing our next game against them will be a Turkey shoot hopefully. They are utter s hit and that’s a glorious thing.

6.) 04 Sep 2023 08:28:42
Morning All

No doubt in my mind that it will be Rockie who will partner CCV.

At present Phillips was only brought in to cover injuries. Although this may change in January.

?.

7.) 04 Sep 2023 09:05:12
Mally I have said that numerous times on here, Scales at left back. Why not try him there, he is big, strong and quicker than taylor. With his performance yesterday, he desrves a shot.

8.) 04 Sep 2023 09:38:29
Philips is emergency and will be gone by January. He will be utilised for CL if Rocki and CCV don'recover. Scales has earned his spot via pre season and yesterday if he keeps improving its his to lose.

9.) 04 Sep 2023 11:57:28
Yes Phillips was an emergency signing, but he will have enough game time now to show his worth, which I think he will, I believe we'll extend his loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

10.) 04 Sep 2023 14:59:16
I hope so Barry. I think he'll catch the Celric bug and be desperate to stay and def within our price range. He came in at Liverpool and played really well and I think he'll
Stay in the team as long as he's here. My concern is that he's CCV replacement for next year.

I must apologise for being a panty wetter before game, well played liam scales.

1.) 03 Sep 2023 14:09:36
He was MoM for me, kept his head, great positioning and didn’t give an inch to them. He’s taken his opportunity.

2.) 03 Sep 2023 14:13:29
Yes indeed, Liam Scales, I said beforehand as a proud Irish man he knew he wouldn’t get a better chance to ingratiate himself to Celtic fans than playing a decent role in an under strength Celtic team beating Rangers .
Well done B R he used his existing players that he had time to work with and he whipped them into a team to win in that hell hole.

3.) 03 Sep 2023 14:14:57
I had concerns about that CB partnership but Scales wasbfor the most pasrt fantastic.

03 Sep 2023 11:16:52
Never had prematch knots in stomach but after seeing that team I have now.
