Seen from a couple of sources that we are in for German wonderkid Arnie Engles. Would absolutely love this to be true but think someone has been playing fm25. I seen it on a couple of different places so passing it on. Fingers crossed because he definitely warrants the tag wonder kid.

I'd say so Wab. Can draw parallels with the way in which he always gets his head up and can play a cute pass. Bit of a one step backwards sort of move but Engles certainly has the potential to match/ better MO'R and realistically we're not spending all that money on one replacement. If we got Engles in with a wide man who can score plenty of goals with the O'Riley dollars then that'd be ok with me. Still want a CB and a LB though we're leaving things a bit tight.

For a player who had. 4m release agreed to an Italian club 6 months ago looks like Norwich done is and won the transfer back and forth, personally I think we should have concentrated on our 3rd striker and run this one to end window and kept fee down to 6.5 m, positives are at 23 we will get most of it back if not more on any outgoing, hopefully at that cost there’s no sell on clause either,

It's hilarious, Idah heading our way and people still not happy.
On one hand we were tight fisted by offering only 4.5 million and we should just pay what they want and get the deal done.
Now there are people saying 8.5 million plus 1 more in add ons is more than he is worth and we should have been looking elsewhere for that amount of money.
Fans are fickle people, very difficult to please.
For me he has already proven what he can do in his loan spell and can only improve.
Will he be a moussa or Eddie, I cannot say but the potential is there, his first touch is better than Eddie and he is strong like moussa, so I am looking forward to seeing how he develops under BR.

I’ve been one of those critical of the Celtic board for being tight fisted and I still stand by it, this has been going on for years and we’ve missed out on several targets who have went on to bigger things because we refused to pay it when they were worth it, John McGinn being an example.
As much as I like as being financially cautious as that’s the way you need to be in todays market, fair play if the board have indeed agreed to pay that amount if it’s true, credit where credits due. Me personally, we’ve probably overpaid by a couple of million but I think it’s a risk worth taking, Idah has proved his value and potential already.
In terms of finances, if the reported fees are reliable to go by, we’ve essentially spent 7m net. We’ve sold 3 players for 6m and spent a total of 13m.

Mick, what tosh about McGinn, we offered the same as Villa but he chose them over us as their Manager promised him game time.
People need to get over the McGinn nonsense and accept, we made a good offer but HE chose them.
Tbh, I cannot sit and watch him and feel sad we didn't get him, his Euro performances were very poor. MOR is a far, far better player.

I’ve just watched the interview myself and I’m going to put a positive spin on it.
It’s obvious he’s not happy but I was encouraged that Brendan is intelligent enough to try and be the peace maker between Our Board and Our Supporters.
Because I think that’s crucial until the end of the season.
The next 3 games are massive before our next home match because our fans are rightly fuming and this could easily get out of hand, to the detriment of the Celtic players and our future results.
I’m encouraged slightly about Lagerbielke because he can’t be that bad if Brendan chose to keep him.
I’ve previously been critical myself but the lad still hasn’t conceded a goal in nearly 7 hours of league action.
No other player has that record.
We all know that the Scottish Media are good at twisting stories.
If the lad was that bad he would’ve been gone.

It would be a ridiculous decision to loan him out in this window even though we are half expecting him to leave in the summer.
He has been one of the few highlights in a - so far - inconsistent and disappointing season and we are a better side with him in it.
It's bad enough seeing us plod through this transfer window without the quality arrivals we had hoped for, without losing MOR as well. However, nothing shocks or surprises me any more with our Board.

I try my very best not to become over concerned about Champions League games. I sweat over SPL and in my stupid opinion they are all that matter . I hope that we do ok tonight but haven’t a lot of faith with so many of our more attacking players missing. I always feel to get anything in Champions League everything must go right . Tonight we are starting from a poor position missing players that we are.

The problem is how can Kyogo be expected to score when we don't play the ball in to space for him to run on to. I've never seen a celtic striker get so little service it's apauling. Our play under Rodgers is a pretty tough watch.
