Something that's been bugging me all day. It was a clear penalty at the end but I'm pretty sure Collum allowed play to continue. Surely aberdeen got the advantage as cosgrove got a free shot from 8 yards out. The fact he is a donkey and hit the bar doesn't change that. How can you then go back and blow for a penalty? They got their advantage and fluffed it. Does advantage in that instance only count when you score?

No excuses; but, have you ever seen a Celtic match where there wasn't issues involving Gollum?

2.) 25 Oct 2020 23:15:02
ref played advantage but pulled it back for original foul penalty goal Rangers for the league, will this be posted?

3.) 25 Oct 2020 23:26:48
You have answered yourself, yes it was a penalty but there was no advantage. 🤦‍♂️😂😂🤣🤣🤣.

4.) 26 Oct 2020 07:03:51
Since they wrote to the SFA 2 years ago to complain about Wullie,
He was been a referee in 12 Celtic games and only 6 of their games.
In those 12 Celtic games, we have conceded 6 penalties and he has sent off 3 Celtic players.
Celtic have received 2 penalties and the only time he sent off an opponent was when Celtic were leading 5-0.
In the 6 games he’s been referee in their games,
Their opponents have finished with 10 men in 50% of the games.
They have only received one penalty and conceded 2 penalties.
But Why have Celtic got Wullie double the games when he is so unpredictable.

5.) 26 Oct 2020 08:12:16
Let be fair buzz all were pens yesterday. And u say that but if that's the case why did he not send off McGregor yesterday so. He was fouling all over the place and gave away the pen in the last min. I hear what u r saying but it was due to shocking defending by us we drew not him. Beside most refs in Scotland are not great.

6.) 26 Oct 2020 08:13:57
Good morning Buzz you will remember they complained about about Collum And he never got one of their games for six months and was he not supposed to be In charge of their game yesterday only to be changed and our original ref for yesterday Nick Walsh went to ibrox.

7.) 26 Oct 2020 08:16:54
Tbh there was a blatant push on Cosgrove right in front of ref in lead up to Griffiths goal, and I felt all 3 penalty decisions were penalties.
Iv said it for a while I genuinely don’t believe the Refs are biased I just think they are not of a good enough standard and should be professional full time referees.
Made to work 40 hour week with 20 hours fitness and 15 hours reviewing their performances and the performances of their peers with 2 matches reffed each week to keep them sharp.

8.) 26 Oct 2020 08:32:41
How is a shot from 8 yards not an advantage? Is it only an advantage if you score?

9.) 26 Oct 2020 08:33:23
No excuses though just interested.

10.) 26 Oct 2020 09:04:16
Collum was spot on to pull it back and award the penalty. I think some on here need to learn the rules before posting on here and embarrassing themselves👍.

11.) 26 Oct 2020 09:40:30
I disagree with Lennon blaming Collum yesterday because he had a good game.
But why are we getting Collum In double the games?
In 12 games we have conceded 6 penalties and he’s sent off 3 Celtic players.
To put that into perspective, they have only conceded one penalty in over a year.

12.) 26 Oct 2020 10:46:59
Guys come on if trying to apportion blame on Collum then I'm disappointed. They were clear penalties and he correctly played advantage and then correctly gave penalty when advantage wasn't taken. We can see Lenny starting to lose the plot with his statements please do not join him and retain yer sanity or this league cld be over soon.

Given the situation with Killie does anyone else think we should have two separate squads. We certainly have the numbers with a few of the youth added in. Would hopefully ensure we don't end up in a similar position. don't want to end up any further games behind.

A bit unrelated but what is with the big fuss being made about what Country Dykes is going to play for all about? He isn't good enough to play for Scotland so who cares?

Fifer

1.) 19 Aug 2020 12:39:19
He's absolutely worth a chance up front for Scotland. We've got Griffiths who's been hit and miss so far and not much else.

2.) 19 Aug 2020 13:20:01
If Scotland start playing on a plastic pitch then yeah call him up. His record on grass is pish. I'm sure Buzz posted stats on it before.

3.) 19 Aug 2020 13:43:54
Lyndon Dykes penalty away to Motherwell last week was only his 7th league goal on grass in all his time playing in Scotland.

4.) 19 Aug 2020 13:54:53
We could maybe play our nations league game at the toni macaroni. Dabour won't know what's going on!

5.) 19 Aug 2020 14:27:26
Do you know out if how many games BB?

6.) 19 Aug 2020 14:41:46
They stats came form a Celtic blogger.
I checked it myself and he has only scored in 7 games but 9 goals in total for his games in Scotland. ( he scored doubles at Raith Rovers and Brechin )
I have it he only played 55 league games on grass due to a few plastic pitches in the lower leagues.
It still isn’t great considering the part time opposition.

7.) 19 Aug 2020 18:01:55
Thanks mate. Pity Sevco didn't sign him tbh.

Was just thinking back to the Strachan days. For a game like yesterday he would say it's a game for the big boys. Would drop smaller players for the likes of jarosik. More often than not it would get the job done. Think we do need a couple of physical players to compliment what we already have. Would give us more options to change things.

Couldn't agree more on your post mate.

2.) 10 Aug 2020 11:53:25
Worries me at every set piece that its Broony who goes up against the main aerial threat. Other than Jullien we don't have anyone who can win a header and even he struggles at times. It's all very well saying put the ball in the box when we r attacking but against a deep lying defence it's too easy for the big defenders against Eddy Christie Forrest Moi. I guess that's why we signed Bayo without realising that he us rubbish.

Feck that also rumoured that west ham want Josh king who's deal expires this summer for 16m. 25 should be an absolute minimum.

You would think so but the ranjurs refuse to talk to the bbc despite them having radio and highlights deal as well as scottish cup games. don't think sky will mind they will just give Slippy a call to get his take on the game.

Not sure players wanting out is all down to Lenny. There was prob an expectation that Ajer, eddy and Ntcham would go this Summer. Ideal time to sell Eddy and Ajer with 2 years left on contract. Christie as well has probably never had any intention of signing a new deal. He thinks he's better than he is and will prob get a move to a Burnley or a Brighton and double his wages. We have held onto players too long in this cycle for obvious reasons but if we are selling the club on a 2-3 year stay then we aren't keeping our side of the bargain. That said the players are a disgrace for the lack of effort they are giving. The worrying thing is lack of quality replacements for these players.

Players have ambitions beyond the Tony macaroni. He is going to the club currently 3rd in the Bundesliga. I would think it was worrying if the young foreign players didn't have ambition. We are what we are- a stepping stone to the money leagues.

Players will come and go. We are a selling club and he is another example of us getting it right. Time to find the next one. The boy from Man U, O'Connor? came with a reputation. Anyone know what's happening with him?

I remember us being linked with Justin and Castagne. It's a difficult one as the wage bill was already around 60m and certainly castagne would have cost a fortune in wages along with the 10m fee. When we only take in a couple of million for tv and league finish it makes it difficult. The argument is it would give us a better shot at CL qualification and so it would pay for itself. Going forward we certainly need to give ourselves a better chance of qualifying. Players out of position and no strikers is never going to cut it.

Lack of planning isn't down to lennon. I agree we need a change everyone can see that and noone is denying it. Lennon looks like a broken man. His contribution to Celtic should never be overlooked or forgotten though. Not many celtic managers have a record that stands up to his.

Think this calls for buzz. No way does Lennin have a worst record than barnes. Think its harsh to only look on this season!
