Whats Jason Cundy's problem with us? he slaughters Celtic and says we've less fans than some English League One sides and we wouldn't last in the EPL and that's just a fraction of his raging critical outburst about the club.

Who's Jason Cundy?

Agree0 Disagree5

02 Mar 2017 22:10:08
He's just a total clown who wants to rile Celtic fans. I turn off if I hear him as he talks utter garbage. Adrian Durham is the same.

03 Mar 2017 00:02:48
Jason cundy seems to love Rangers. Talking about Wsrburton as manager of the year in SPL. One week later Warburton had lost 2 games on the spin and was gone. He tslks crap. How is it possible we have less fans than any keague one club. Stadium 55500 no championship club have that. I conceed we have less fans thsn Man u, Barcelona Real Madrid etc but no way less than some championship clubs. He really gets on my t#t#.

@leedscelt - Sutton slags Rangers and he's a hero on here ( short memories after he ripped into Delia last season and got it tight on here ) , Cundy slags Celtic and you get all precious. Man up son.

Agree0 Disagree8

02 Mar 2017 23:49:35
how many League One clubs get over 50 thousand every home game? There ain't many!

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 07:13:07
Johnny celtic park holds 60.000 fans more than anythkng in the championship. and apart from man u more than anything in the epl he hasn't got a clue whst he's talking about. Uj big sutton did give deila it tight but so did about 60% of us on here and he was right. just like hez right when he's critizing your basket case of a club. a posed the question to my sevco supporting work colleagues to tell me what hed said that wasnt true and iam still waiting on an answer so man up sevconians and learn to handle the truth.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 07:23:43
Cundy is just trying to be controversial without having any facts except twitter number's!

By cundy logic ie number of Twitter followers equals success then joey barton will be the best player in England. How did he get on in the spl again did he actually last 4 months.

UJ what was it he got right about diela? Sutton I agree is a hero but it's coz he calls it as it is and your team are pish so he reminds you off it. He's not exactly telling a lie is he.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 09:24:38
Sutton calls it as he sees it and does not try to put a nice spin on it when a subject relates to Celtic. (unlike certain other members of the Scottish Mainstream Media)

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 11:37:41
@tick67 - he was getting it tight on here for daring to question Delias ability.
P. S. Currently the 3rd best pish team in Scotland, soon to be the 2nd when the Sheep do there usual late crash and burn.

Agree0 Disagree2

03 Mar 2017 11:42:48
Union jack, The difference between cundy and Suttons comments are big. Sutton actually has a clue about the subject he's talking about! Said warburton wasn't up to it ages ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 12:24:48
Cundy should spend less time on twitter and actually watch a celtic game.

Sutton has played in the spl and watches the games so is better placed to comment.

UJ is the new banner #going4second.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 14:26:57
Not sure if I'm thinking about the right guy, but if he's that one from talksport, he just says any thing to get a reaction, and he knows if he says something controversial, even if it's rubbish, it means he'll get people phoning into the talk shows, as for what Sutton said about Ronnie, only the worshippers would have disagreed with him., cause he talked sense much as the same as he is talking sense about the basket case that is The rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 15:10:12
my answer to these clowns down south is come up and take in a game on champions league night and see the atmosphere at a packed celtic park and then see if they think we are still a small club.

Agree4 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 15:50:56
This nobody is just a clown drumming up a bit of noise so someone notices him. Its the usual south of england ignorance.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 16:53:34
Uj some on here didn't like suttons criticism but that's life. but he's a straight shooter and quite refreshing unlike the cheerleader bfdj. but he'll b ok in the eyes of sevco fans because he never tells it how it is he's an embarrassment.

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Mar 2017 20:28:09
@mallythetally - he's just the Simon Cowell of football commentators whose opinions don't matter in the wider football community. And DJ is just vanilla toeing the party line whose opinions also carry no weight.

Agree0 Disagree1

03 Mar 2017 21:59:37
As oppposed to bfdj he's doing no bad he's on bt motd and the radio slot so he's doing something right uj.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Mar 2017 11:44:02
@mallythetally - Sutton just has more platforms to spout his nonsense doesn't mean he's any better. Remember the saying ' opinion's are like arseholes, we all have one etc.

Gerry Bhoy-legends don't die they're immortal and live on in the hearts of those that loved them and in the hearts of our children and our children's children. My mother used to sing about Jimmy McGrory the Pride of Parkhead and stories of that legend were passed on to me although I never saw him. God Bless Tommy Gemmell. May the angels lead him to paradise and may Christ who called him take him to himself. RIP πŸ€.

It's certainly been a bittersweet season for us, never more so than this past week and especially with the sad news relating to two of our most famous players. It's ironic that the news of Billy McNeill's worsening illness and Tommy Gemmell's death have come so close to the milestone of 50 years since Lisbon, which as well as being a time of celebration, will no doubt be tinged with sadness. The current crop of players couldn't have done anymore so far to make this anniversary season more memorable and fitting and they deserve immense credit for that along with the manager, but today's terrible news just goes to show that no matter how many great players and teams we witness as Celtic fans, the Lisbon Lions will never be matched, there will never be another like them. Although many, myself included, are too young to remember them, we are all saddened by the news but we should also be grateful and proud that we support such a fantastic club which created such wonderful history. RIP Tommy Gemmell, YNWA.

A sad day today with the passing of big Tam Gemmell. A true giant of Scottish and indeed European football. I met Tam on a couple of occasions at player functions over the years and it was always a bigger thrill for me to share a bit of time with the players from his era, Lennox, Auld, Craig etc. They all had a story or two to tell, and always had time to talk to the fans when some of the current players at the time were a wee bit more reserved let us say. I can always remember having a photo with Tommy and saying to him "thanks Tommy, it's a pleasure to meet you " and him replying " no big man, it's a pleasure to meet you". Always stuck with me that. A great man and will be fondly remembered. God bless him.

Met a lot of the lion's through the years and the thing that struck me was how modest they all were/ are it was always more about how great the other players were rather than how good they were, remember seeing a few of them at the airport and asking for a photo with Bertie as he was my dads favourite, he told me no problem but you should be asking Wallace and gemmell as they were better players than me, could you imagine some of todays players showing that sort of humility.

02 Mar 2017 18:29:05
Couldn't agree more as I was lucky enough to meet most of them on many occasions - as a boy in the 60's - right through to recent times and the love of Celtic - and the support was always evident and appreciated by all.

I was truly saddened to hear of Tommy's passing, he will always be a legend in my eyes. My earliest memories of football came from seeing a lot of the Lisbon lions from the late sixties onwards, these players were like Gods to me.
With the news last week about Billy McNeill having dementia, the only thing I can do is thank these legends for the pleasure and pride that they have given to us over the years, and realise how lucky we are that it was our club that benefited from their brilliance.
