Heard 2 rumours tonight that actually sounded like they'd be good signings. Sviatchenko and Falk, that means they are probably complete nonsense.

1.) 18 Jan 2016 00:28:09
Hi ED do you know anything about this Falk guy and what are the chances of him signing? And as the days pass the Fletcher story just won't go away have you heard anything on that? I heard that wages are an issue but you never know.

{Ed007's Note - Odense winger Rasmus Falk could be another possible summer signing on a Bosman, his contract is up and representatives of CFC have held talks with the player's agent. I would be surprised to see a deal done for him moving this window. Just like in every other window I can't see there being anything in the Fletcher link, hasn't the rumour this window just stemmed from some $hite written in the DR?}

2.) 18 Jan 2016 08:03:42
Aye that's where I heard it on the DR live blog they are doing. It was unconfirmed reports and they did mention possible Celtic wanting to be kept upto date with the The situation wae the striker fae St Johnstone but the was speculation.

For some reason I can't reply to your post ed so just writing a new post. I saw that about the new stuff they're hoping to build. When I was at the man city game I thought the area surrounding the stadium was impressive. Lots going on and stuff for kids. Would be good to get something like that. The area around the stadium is already massively improved. Looks good for any visiting fans.

NT87

{Ed007's Note - Is anyone else having problems replying to posts? If so use the Contact Us form and it'll go straight to Ed033 and he'll have a look.
The whole area around the stadium is looking great and this new addition is only going to help further regenerate the area.}

Celtic carrying on the great community work as per usual, this should bring money into the east end.

Strolled it today I thought. Hearts look like they have lost any direction they had. Usually i'd expect them to take a poont off sevco on sunday but seems unlikely.

Young Souttar with a suspected snapped Achilles, that's a shocker, hope the boy makes a good recovery.

Ed do you think we will bring anyone in before the deadline?

NT87

{Ed007's Note - Times ticking down but I do think we'll bring at least one in before Tuesday, for me though we really need to concentrate on some exits.}

1.) 29 Jan 2017 19:37:10
Defo clear the decks a bit ed but think it's going to be difficult. Gamboa, Bitton best I've seen them. SS, KT class and Boyata good again. Stadium more or less full and great atmosphere for a 1pm kick off. Was thinking what a great year for the whole club to be playing like that, a real honour to the lions the way we're playing, attack after attack and goals all over the team.
Special time to be a Celt, hope it continues all the way to May this year and for a long time to come

2.) 30 Jan 2017 16:56:09
I hope we get rid of some of the hangers-on as well ed Bailey. Ambrose bitton GMS cifti commons could all go tomorrow.

1.) 29 Jan 2017 15:34:33
Was just reading BR's comments saying that he won't have the perfect squad before the window closes and won't just sign a player if he does not believe he's the right one, which is fair enough. I personally don't expect any more in this window but I remain hopeful also hopeful a few go through the exit to leave an opening for summer window

2.) 29 Jan 2017 15:42:25
BR says he doesn't think there will be any in on his after game interview

3.) 29 Jan 2017 15:34:25
BR said post match that he didn't think anyone would come in, think he's just downplaying things Ed? Onyekuru most likely you think?

{Ed007's Note - No.}

4.) 29 Jan 2017 18:50:32
Any names Ed?

{Ed007's Note - I wish mate, I'm scrambling around trying to make sense of all the BS.}

Ive been impressed with Forrest this season, been a huge improvement. I definitely think its time to get roberts in from the start though. Forrest runs about a lot, but doesn't create much. Especially at home Roberts needs to start. Can beat players so easily that he'll always create chances. Forrest on the bench is a different option, but Roberts definitely needs a good run of games now!

On another note I was quite impressed with big Boyata. Seems to attack the ball well when attacking a corner. We rarely score a good headed goal so well done big man!

NT87

1.) 25 Jan 2017 22:24:58
Roberts will be gone at the end of the season, Roberts himself said that he wants to go back to city probably the chance of playing for pep and you couldn't really blame him. I would love us to sign him but can't really see it, with that in mind I would use him as an impact player someone you can put on after Forrest has ran the left back in to the ground.

2.) 26 Jan 2017 07:52:12
I get your point, but a loan player is always going back to his parent club. So shouldn't be a reason not to play.

3.) 26 Jan 2017 11:05:48
Yes me and the boys were saying the same thing last night, we think br starts Forrest because he gives the right back much more cover and Roberts finds it easier as James has run the opposition left back into the ground.

4.) 26 Jan 2017 11:40:27
I was thinking the same - very few headers from set pieces.
For me if PR was our player I would start him until then keep forest developing, working on his game and. Yielding confidence.

5.) 26 Jan 2017 18:39:01
Forrest has been impressive for about 6 games max. He is useless if he can't get past his man. Roberts glides by 2/ 3 players in one move. Not buying into this about forrest getting a game before roberts cos roberts is on loan. Hands down roberts should be starting ahead of forrest as he is better player so when roberts leaves then invest in someone that's better than forrest. Forrest just has not got an end product.

6.) 26 Jan 2017 23:14:16
Yayo, your spot on mate, u play if best players as often as possible. People keep going on about well play Forrest cause he's our player, were these the same folk raving about denayer n guidetti playing every game, despite not being our own players, I doubt it very much.

Roberts is quality, he proved it last season n he's showed it every time he's been given either a run of games or coming off the bench, straight away last night we looked more likely to open up the saints as he glided past players with ease, and that isn't just when defenders r tired, he was quality against city when he started n scored n him rogic n Sinclair for me just screams quality.

Ed007 also made a great point t recently about criticising lustig don't seem to realise that Forrest barely ever tracks back n it means it's 2 on 1 against lustig.
Roberts works the right side likenakamura n works in my opinion better with lustig.
And as another poster said if we don't sign Roberts then I want us to sign someone with class in that attacking mould, Roberts, rogic n Sinclair, any of those 3 types of player as each is different n so good.

James unfortunately for me just doesn't bring enough in an attacking sense, finishing, final ball n even beating a man n like Gordon I'd rather they were replaced with better quality.
Hail hail

Wonderful today! Once again mikael (I am always injured) lustig ran 90 yards to set up dembele for his 3rd. Anyone seen him with the beachball on his head?

Why would an English club bid in euros when both countries are in the UK?

Cheers mate. Quite looking forward to seeing sinclair through the middle. A week off won't do Dembele any harm.

Any news on what's wrong with Griffiths and Dembele? I know griffiths was struggling. Not heard of dembele being out.

NT87

{Ed007's Note - Dembele is ill and Griffiths has a slight hamstring problem.}

To be fair to skinnybhoy at least he tried to cone back after posting and give more info. Unlike these guys who make a statement like it is fact and are never seen again! Bring back Skinny!

At least he's close to home so we still get a chance to look at him. Tends to be that if they go down south they just go under the radar. Also gives him a chance to play (maybe score) and sink sevco!

Is shay Logan only a knob because he supposedly got racially abused, or is there another reason?

I think they will do what st mirren did and let boyata have the ball. so I'd go with jozo and sviatchenko. Although jozo ain't the best passer, boyata panics.

He's just a total clown who wants to rile Celtic fans. I turn off if I hear him as he talks utter garbage. Adrian Durham is the same.

Why does anyone feel the need to congratulate fans on observing a minutes silence? If it's for a genuine reason like today it should be taken for granted and observed.
