At a family do yesterday, I was told if Celtic qualify for the CL they are putting in a bid to make Patrick Roberts a permanent deal.

Can I just take this opportunity to wish everyone on here health and happiness for 2017.
I've really enjoyed the banter.

Union Jack happy new year and well done for coming on after defeat yesterday keep healthy mate.

2.) 01 Jan 2017 12:24:26
@timalloy - never afraid to comne on and admit that overall the better team won again. I was jusat glad to see us at least compete at times and create chances.
Still too many individual errors for my liken and the issues with the back 4 need to be addressed as a priority.

3.) 01 Jan 2017 12:50:52
Happy New Year to everyone, health and happiness to all.
@UJ it's like Star Wars, we are the good guys that always win unless some evil dark force make "honest mistakes " to help the dark forces win lol. Keep on coming on and keep the banter going . Good luck with the race for 2nd place, that won't be a forgone conclusion.

4.) 01 Jan 2017 13:27:25
@cprs1 - never realised Luke Skywalker had the same ' always cheated, never defeated ' catchphrase as the Celtic faithful! ๐Ÿ˜€
All the best for 2017.

5.) 01 Jan 2017 13:43:14
@UJ Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. โ€

Destroy the Death Star
Yoda at his best me thinks
Lol.

6.) 01 Jan 2017 13:56:12
@ UJ : seen you posted about the minutes silence being disrupted at the game, here's an update for everyone, my oldest sons pal ( a rangers fan ) was at the game and he posted that the fan who shout was less than 15ft away from him in the rangers end, the guy got pelted from he fellow rangers supporters and quite right too, that anyone should disrupt or disrespect it.

7.) 01 Jan 2017 14:23:43
@cprs1 - I think the quote that's in all the papers / online definitely came from the Rangers fans and whether he's directing that at something that supposedly came from the Celtic end beforehand is still wrong in my eyes.
For anyone to break a minutes silence in respect of someone who has lost there lives at a football ground - well there is no hope for them. I always think would you like your own loved ones disrespected in anyway?

8.) 01 Jan 2017 14:56:49
UJ first of all Happy New Year and all the best for 2017. Let's get a bit of context here regarding the minutes silence. The level of observance was remarkable particularly after the anti-catholic sectarian bile that was directed towards us before being asked for 'respect'. One fud among 7500 visiting TIMS shouts a daft comment to which some fud in your end replied 'I hope you die'. Let's applaud the 7499 that paid there respects despite listening to what we'd to listen to before and after the minutes silence. I posted on here stating that anybody who didn't feel they could listen to sectarian abuse directed at them then rise above it to observe the silence should stay away. Don't think the moral high ground is yours UJ ๐Ÿ€.

9.) 01 Jan 2017 16:55:55
@jfp1888 - I think you're needing to reread my posts, at no point have I taken the moral high ground? I've slated all who have broken the minutes silence.

10.) 01 Jan 2017 23:33:03
Happy new year UJ.

I let my son open one of his Xmas presents early.
It was an empty box with a picture of a soldier on it.
He said ' what the ****s this meant to be'?
I said ' that my son, is Action Man Deserter'!
Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas to you and yours too Union Jack. You spend a lot of time on here with us-do you think you might be in denial? No reason why you can't see the light and come and see the Celtic in 2017. Converts more than welcome! As the great Mr Stein said ''Celtic weren't my first love-but they'll be my last". It's not where we start that matters UJ it's where we end up! All the best (apart from next week) ๐Ÿ€.

2.) 24 Dec 2016 17:44:04
Or you could give him a battery - with a note 'TOY NOT INCLUDED'

3.) 24 Dec 2016 17:59:20
Aye great sentiment. Merry Christmas Union J.

4.) 24 Dec 2016 18:01:11
ha ha Union Jack how old is that joke? but it pales into the distance with some of your other ex bear fans who posted in all seriousness "why are Celtic fans slagging us off for signing Accrington players when Celtic are chasing a DARLINGTON player.
Merry Christmas UJ and all the other ex bear followers on here hail hail.

5.) 24 Dec 2016 20:12:58

@Augustus - no everyone from the East End including Brenda didn't think it was a red. As for the hypocrisy on here - where's your outrage when Divebele goes down too easily?

@lh86 - you just lost your own argument by saying Brown dived in so he wasn't in control.

@tick67 - you wouldn't have a pair of them green tinted specs in blue? I'm needing them for the semi final to see what all the fuss is about, when you wear them to watch your team in action. Cheers๐Ÿค“.

@jb67 - at last someone can see by the halo of the messiah / enigma that is Brendan.
Led Celtic to an invincible treble but.
Worst Euro defeat in Celtics history- Red Imps.
Heaviest away Euro defeat- Barcelona.
Heaviest home Euro defeat - PSG
Is he too good for Scottish football but not capable of taking Celtic forward in Europe?
Another poor transfer window where only Nitcham was signed to improve the team. The rest of the signings are Projects / squad players ( I haven't included PR as he was there last season ) . Never mind as is continually stated on here the ยฃ30 million will soften the humpings.

@Ig Loyal, still here lurking in the background. Waiting to pounce on any fabricated nonsense from the Celtic faithful.
Still waiting on Ibrox getting closed down!
Still waiting on ' Admin 2 '!
Still waiting on 55.
Still trusting Pedro.
P.S. Found this site after the Rangers version and as some people get a calling to work for God, I felt my services could be put to better work on here.

@jfp88 - can you please leave my name out of petty squabbles within the Celtic support? Or is it really all about Rangers even when you are on holiday?

It doesn't squash that argument as points are gained over a 5 year cycle so you're talking Tom Kite. Maybe your 2nd post will be more factually correct.
