Brendan quoted that eboue could b in the squad in the next 2 weeks.

1.) 23 Feb 2017 19:16:40
Hopefully this lad hits the ground running. If I remember correctly, in his first interview he said he was a lion on the park. I eagerly await the first tackle!

2.) 24 Feb 2017 18:23:39
Was in Mr Singhs for lunch earlier and Eboue came in for a curry with some guy in a Celtic trackie. Didn't seem to speak much English at all. Hopefully he's working on that as it will surely help him settle in then hit the ground running come pre season.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 19:02:05
Out eating curries on a Friday, not sure that's a good sign. Maybe cutting out curries might be a bigger priority than language barrier.

4.) 24 Feb 2017 21:38:02
It's not like it's a back street greasy takeaway. Cooked properly, authentic Indian curries are healthy. I don't see that as a problem to be fair. He was also in with a club official so neither does BR I'd assume.

5.) 25 Feb 2017 09:12:31
Remember a story about agathe eating something like 6 curries 1 night or something.

6.) 25 Feb 2017 10:52:30
A club official in Mr sings wae a tracky on, nae bother mate. Sounds like an under 21 he was out wae!

7.) 25 Feb 2017 19:08:09
Agathe six curries in one night, now I know where he got the nickname
the road runner. Beep. Beep.

8.) 25 Feb 2017 23:16:24
It was no u21 pal. Does coaching staff not wear trackies? The guy was about in his fortys. Celtic tracksuit and bomber jacket. He never even ate while Eboue scoffed a curry and messed about on his phone without speaking very much to him.

19 Feb 2017 11:24:04
Lazy journalism from the sunday mail this morning. Dembele apparently subject of a 30 million bid - absolute non story rehashed rubbish.

1.) 19 Feb 2017 21:55:51
Fake News. 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

2.) 19 Feb 2017 22:42:56
But it raises the question, if some club comes in and offers £40million pounds for moussa, well I say reject it, of moussa stays with us till the end of his contract, we have a better chance of doing well in the champions league, and in doing well we are guaranteed £20 plus millions every time, so if moussaka has three years left on his deal, they can start the bidding at sixty million upwards, I would rather keep him till the end of his contract and then let him walk away if he wants to.

3.) 20 Feb 2017 00:18:57
Have we ever had a week without at least one poster posting on here about Dembele leaving or a big bid comming in for him .
He knows most is nonsense but he might sense that, as we post continuously we don't want him.

4.) 20 Feb 2017 19:45:00
Fairly confident the big chap doesn't make these forums a priority daily visit, as entertaining as they are.

5.) 21 Feb 2017 13:15:18
We should be in no rush. His value will only increase. If he us worth £40 now, what will that be with another year in the CL? Not £30m that's for sure.

He is 20. Two more years then sold for £60m after he helps us show we are a force again. Don't be forced into selling. We don't need to and by resisting pushes the price higher. The sums paid for players with half his talent or potential show me he is worth a lot more.

Stand firm, put our team first, convince him another crack at the CL will move him forward even more and if need be tell him he's staying. He's our player. We might be as telling stone but we won't be walked over.

27 Jan 2017 10:54:19
Has the boy signed yet HH

1.) 27 Jan 2017 12:50:29
What boy you talking about?

2.) 27 Jan 2017 13:20:38
Onyekuru was supposed to sign today according to some

3.) 27 Jan 2017 17:06:59
@mallythetally, heard Onyerkuru was told by the Belgian club "Onyerbike to Russia" lol

4.) 27 Jan 2017 18:18:24
Could be happening tonight or tomo

5.) 27 Jan 2017 18:35:33
Haha herd that tim cska but don't think he fancies it

6.) 27 Jan 2017 19:41:34
transfer saga involving the Nigerian Henry Onyekuru looks to be coming to a close tonight, with the likelihood of the player ending up at Celtic Park Thank u @Mallytheswally. HH🤣🤣🍀🍀

7.) 27 Jan 2017 20:48:39
Cheers HH hope your right and bhoys a success, swally tomorrow night btw

8.) 29 Jan 2017 12:43:58
Still waiting. Me starting to think this rumour might not be actually credible. Here's hoping though. Boy looks a talent.

04 Jan 2017 11:42:08
Eboue had arrived in Glasgow to finalise move.

1.) 04 Jan 2017 12:07:22
Does anybody know if the boy can speak English?

2.) 04 Jan 2017 16:16:46
most africans can, we can't here in deepest darkest clydebank but.

31 Oct 2016 13:20:52
Reports celtic looking to build 4 star hotel where ticket office stands anybody know any more.

1.) 31 Oct 2016 17:54:29
MTT I heard this years ago, but the issue was the old Building was a problem as it was listed. That would just take CP into a different dimension.
Just think Who would not want to stay in the No7 room . Caesar Lounge. Jock`s bar and Jinky`s Corner

Great idea.

2.) 31 Oct 2016 21:31:39
It was in one of today's papers as if it's a new venture apparently trying to get planning permission also a new screen,

3.) 31 Oct 2016 23:09:24
That big old hospital in the grounds of lennoxtown should have been used exactly for that reason what a 5 star complex it would have made it would have been up there with a skibo castle or a Mar hall imo but there would have been road access issues but went to a developer anyway when the building was really to far gone IMO

But could have been the best hotel in Strathclyde and with the training complex there would have been some money earner (y)

4.) 01 Nov 2016 06:52:23
Woulda been a great idea jamiebhoy! But as you said the road access would have been the problem it's bad enough just now going to the training ground! Is there any plans for casinos or hovering pitches.

5.) 01 Nov 2016 17:30:31
Jamiebhoy, I prefer for Celtic to continue concentrating on what they do best, building and developing their football club .
I remember in 2004/ 5 at the height of the house inflation people posting on different forums that our board was stupid with the financial clout Celtic had should have borrowed tens of billions and built houses and hotels initially in Glasgow and then elsewhere. Thank God our Board was either too lazy or too smart to go down that road or the club could be gone by now .
It's easy to advise on the spending of other people's money.

23 Apr 2017 18:29:41
Men against bhoys too easy but if broonys challenge last weeks red what about today.

1.) 23 Apr 2017 19:09:15
It was a ridiculous tackle from halliday on wee Roberts and if your looking for consistency then if browns is a red last week then that tackle is a straight red every day of the week.

17 Apr 2017 07:01:33
Some of the horrendous tackles celtic players have had to take this season and then see officials deem them yelliw cards or even worse nothing cards is ridiculous ie the tierney tackle against motherwell same ref as yesterday btw, thè tackles on sinclair against ict, the miller and holt challenges againsg sevco never mind the Griffiths pen incident and that's just a few but hey we're paranoid, if you can't beat them fairly then just kick them seems to be the motto.

1.) 17 Apr 2017 11:19:14
@mallythetally - maybe the outrage after the Tierney tackle has made Robertson reevaluate what a bad tackle really is so the greeting from Celtic has been Browns undoing?

2.) 17 Apr 2017 13:19:32
Aye right u are uj. the tierney tackle had durrant written all over it but for kieran lifting his leg it was a carreer finisher we had every right to complain just like yous have been complaining fae 1988 HH mind the gap.

3.) 17 Apr 2017 16:56:33
they forget the souness tackles on george mccluskey and billy stark.

16 Apr 2017 14:33:00
Thats got to be one of the worst penalty decisions av ever seen by officials but what the foock is broony thinking about thatll be him out of both sevco games.

1.) 16 Apr 2017 14:44:31
Brown was daft with challenge but its a yellow for me. Will we appeal it?

2.) 16 Apr 2017 14:51:21
We can appeal it though.

3.) 16 Apr 2017 14:58:49
Totally agree. To be honest, despite all the posession we are not winning well. Since January we don't create as many chances as we should for the amount of possession we have and we always look vulnerable at the back when players run at us. Not over confident about next week. With Brown out it will make it more difficult but was not too sure we are going to win against Rangers before Brown got his marching orders.

4.) 16 Apr 2017 15:08:10
Is the cup game not different?

5.) 16 Apr 2017 15:08:27
That game's cost us big time! Don't understand everyone tip-toeing around the player's blatant cheating, he was diving just as he touched the ball, complete with the head flick back. it's a dive! You don't flick your head and throw your arms in the air if you anticipate being clattered. cheat!

Broony lost any composure he has, can you appeal a straight red?

Hope they go down now.

{Ed001's Note - terrible and embarrassingly shameful dive that was!}

6.) 16 Apr 2017 15:46:59
Who's tip-toeing around it miko? Even Neil McCann said it was blatant cheating. Absolutely disgraceful from the player and the officials. Scott Brown should know better than to dive in at that speed in injury time, he's let us down but luckily we can appeal.

7.) 16 Apr 2017 16:07:05
@kevbhoy yes it was blatant cheating . Brendan called it correct, put it on camera so as not to be ignored . Will brendan be charged though for his comments 🤔🤔🤔

As for broony! It was a rush of blood to the head . Barry Robson said it looked worse that it was in terms studio. Mind this is the ref who deemed a studded tackle by a Motherwell player on wee tierneys knee cap only a yellow?

The refs are just warming up for the weeks ahead .

8.) 16 Apr 2017 16:24:28
What you on about Kev? On one hand they're saying he's cheated and they then comment about how he was anticipating contact and he'll be feeling a wee bit guilty. bollocks to that mince! There's no ambiguity, he took a dive, why try to justify his actions?

9.) 16 Apr 2017 16:26:06
Outrageous decision for the pen. The Premiership could do without Don Robertson for a while. Big let down by Broony too. He's showed real maturity and experience the past few seasons and that was just foolish from him. I've seen yellows given for worse but he gave the ref a decision to make. I'm not a fan of that set up today either. Never been comfortable with three at the back and really don't see the point unless you play with two natural strikers.

10.) 16 Apr 2017 15:54:00
Is it both?

11.) 16 Apr 2017 16:01:25
@mallythetally - I heard SB doesn't want to be known as part of the side that loses the unbeaten record to Rangers. 😉.

12.) 16 Apr 2017 16:33:33
Yayo it's a yellow for me as well.

13.) 16 Apr 2017 16:34:50
If we appeal it he will be able to play on Sunday supposedly.

14.) 16 Apr 2017 16:42:03
The Honest mistakes are the only thing that will stop the treble! Ref and linesman had a perfect view.

15.) 16 Apr 2017 16:49:25
He can't be banned in time if we appeal kev. So no doubt we will appeal.

16.) 16 Apr 2017 16:49:41
. and Scott Brown's not let anyone down, he's been outstanding this season!

17.) 16 Apr 2017 17:02:51
An honest mistake stopped the treble 2 seasons ago and wouldn't surprise me if something similar happens on Sunday. Got to make sure we"re out of sight early on cos i fear if it's tight going into the last 15 mins the honest mistake will happen.

18.) 16 Apr 2017 16:44:25
It is a dive. Its not only cheating Celtic but all of the teams fighting relegation. Dusgrace. Not sure about this but i think if ref sent him off for violent conduct then he can't play in semi. Otherwuse ban kicks in on next league game. Ed will know better than me. What happens Ed?

{Ed007's Note - Appeals have to be made within 2 working days and are normally held on the Thursday but as Monday’s a bank holiday clubs were told in advance that any hearings arising from the weekend’s games would not be heard until April 27 - so if Celtic appeal Brown can play next week and then his case will be heard on the 27th.}

19.) 16 Apr 2017 18:49:07
UJ look forward to speaking next Sunday night ☘️.

20.) 16 Apr 2017 18:56:58
Embarrassing guys. Yes it was a blatant dive but come on, how many times has Dembele done exactly the same thing this season? Whether the referee falls for it or not is irrelevant it's still cheating. On my opinion every player caught diving whether the referee falls for it or not should be given a one match ban. Mind guidetti and his dive last season or Dembele against Dundee and rangers this season.

21.) 16 Apr 2017 18:57:28
Sorry to burst your bubble Union Jack but due to pub hol / red tape SB is free to play :-D.

22.) 16 Apr 2017 19:02:08
Get it done then. After that decision today celtic have every right to work the system to our benefit.

23.) 16 Apr 2017 23:03:01
@stuart ac no way have u seen anything as bad as that
@uj dream on pal and broony will be at hampden next week. oh how your heart must have missed a beat when u thoght hed miss it haha.

24.) 17 Apr 2017 00:20:23
@jfp88 - you know me lose or victorious draw this season I've always came on. 😉
@jb7 - you have to admire Brenda for calling it like it is for the penalty - blatant cheating but does he then not embarrass himself by appealing a definite red for Brown?

P.S. I thought Brown was rank rotten in the last game as he was too interested in off the ball stupidity with Holt so I'm quite glad he will be playing as ever since he's returned for Scotland I think he's went off the boil a wee bit?

25.) 17 Apr 2017 07:06:36
A definite red was it any worse than holts against us or millers 2 footed lunge or wee gurner against hamilton btw none deemed a red but broony sees red.

26.) 17 Apr 2017 12:03:52
Union Jack if you don't think SB will turn up against you after that and sailing close to the brink of being suspended. added he will miss the following two games then you are filed under just another 'silly billy' am afraid. take a ticket and join the queue .

P.S. It's a big queue!

27.) 17 Apr 2017 17:04:46
Mally in my opinion Dembele dive against rangers was equally as bad. Had Celtic been given the penalty there would be the same outrage. Anyway we aren't talking about who's is worse as a dive is a dive. No matter how bad it is If you Cheat to win a penalty or attempt to win a penalty you're as bad as anyone else who tries it which is why in my opinion every player caught doing it should be given a one match ban whether they've been booked for diving during the match or they've managed to con the referee.

Also for all the Celtic fans claiming some sort of bias against your club from officials this season just have a look at some of the decisions that have gone your way. You might not be discussing an unbeaten season had it not been for that awful decision to award you a penalty away in Perth earlier in the season.

14 Apr 2017 17:47:11
See our kids pumped sevcos 4-0 now for the 23rd.

1.) 15 Apr 2017 10:26:38
Any idea who scored?

2.) 15 Apr 2017 12:39:28
@fab - and you had the cheek to slate me last week for taking over 24 hours to watch the Rangers v Aberdeen highlights and here we are 12 hours later and a ' Superfan ' like yourself can't even be bothered to google the match report.
PS. Let a Hun fill you in - hat trick for a young striker and an own goal 😉.

3.) 15 Apr 2017 14:53:21
UJ come on mate, its just madness to support your team totally nothing special. Its also bad manners to come on here and nearly busta bloodvessel.
You really need to be a better selector of teams you support mate lol.

4.) 15 Apr 2017 18:47:41
Never claimed to be a super fan, but would never be so embarrassed by something one of Celtic players did, that I would spend all day on here stirring it but couldn't be bothered searching for the highlights on line, and pretend I hadn't seen it, your really comparing the rangers biggest game of the season to Celtics boys playing the recently founded the rangers boys hardly important in our season, you do know your teams playing this afternoon don't you, but I'm betting your another new club fan that couldn't find ibrokes with a sat nav .

5.) 15 Apr 2017 19:25:06
Regan hendry hatrick and an own goal
@ uj u oan yer period.

6.) 15 Apr 2017 20:46:37
Lay aff our resident hun, he's just realised they're not the same club after all and Kings leading them down the garden path. 😉.

7.) 16 Apr 2017 00:05:43
@fab - I wasn't on here stirring. I was asked what I thought about Garner and replied truthfully that I hadn't seen it at that time. I prefer to see things for myself before passing comment which I eventually did. Hardly important? Yet you've replied twice to a post regarding this game?

P.S. Ibrokes? Take a hard right from Snake Mountain ( Celtic Park ) and follow the signs to the hero's pad ( Castle Greyskull ) where you'll find the FEAR - For Ever Always Rangers. 😉.

8.) 16 Apr 2017 00:07:50
@rayman99 - I'm impressed you went to all that effort just for me! 😘.

13 Apr 2017 18:24:44
So the post split fixtures have been released and as we all know way before they were announced the computer has sent us to the asbestos dome. seriosly have a missed something bhoys.

{Ed007's Note - It's 2 home games and 2 away games a season, everyone knew we still had to go to Ibrox.}

1.) 13 Apr 2017 19:03:41
great last fixture just a shame its on a sunday early ko but still going to be a party.

2.) 13 Apr 2017 19:22:53
Never mind that it's going to Aberdeen on a Friday 😠😠.

3.) 13 Apr 2017 19:27:49
you will need to leave the house about 5 am welshy, you'll have to spark that buckie a bit early lol.

4.) 13 Apr 2017 19:29:21
You serious mally? That's always been the case buddy. they've played at our place twice mate.

5.) 13 Apr 2017 20:07:08
Shit ed don't know what a was thinking apologies head up ma arse the now.

{Ed007's Note - Hahaha no worries mate, we all have days like that.}

6.) 13 Apr 2017 21:00:09
lol jb its always a 5am start . when i get out ma pit lol.

{Ed007's Note - That's your age and prostate mate ;)

7.) 13 Apr 2017 21:23:29
I know it's not Celtic related, but I would do away with the split. I don't know why it's done.
Ross County have to play 20 away matches against 18 at home, if they were relegated by a point they'd have every right to kick up a stink.
Also you could have a scenario where a team in sixth place could end up with more points than the team finishing third, if that were ever to happen, I wonder who would qualify for Europe.

{Ed007's Note - Spot on, Gerry the split's a farce and we should get shot of it.}

8.) 13 Apr 2017 22:04:47
It's never really worked for me, someone always loses out n a can remember a few times where 7th has more points than 6th but it's because it makes us look like a mickey mouse league that I hate it. It's a daft gimmick that should never have seen the light of day. And it is celtic related mate, we need to take part in it every year.

9.) 14 Apr 2017 10:14:02
Can't mind but was it not part of a better tv related £ deal to squeeze an extra game against them?

10.) 14 Apr 2017 11:35:25
It makes us (even more of) a laughing stock and serves no real purpose, apart from guaranteeing half the clubs more money from Celtic fans. The bottom 6 are left to play out meaningless fixtures in front of a handful of folk, a wee boy up a tree, tow pigeons and a crisp poke.

11.) 14 Apr 2017 17:30:25
I remember a few years ago when Hibs were in the spl. They lost 5 or 6 of their games before the split when they were sitting mid table. After the split and they were in bottom 6 they won most of their games Heard from a player it was deliberate as they knew if they were bottom 6 they would get more win bonuses. Seemed to work for them 😂.

12.) 14 Apr 2017 18:35:26
Rglen8, pre split everyone played each other 4 times twice at home twice away so there is no extra game against them with the split, it was a way of extending the number of clubs in the league, while not increasing the number of games, we should extend the top league to 18 play each other twice, 34 games, finish the season end of April , players get month of and back for pre season training the 2 nd week of June to get them up to speed for the European qualifiers in the Third week of July , something must be done to get the likes of Aberdeen and the rest to pull there weight in Europe , it can't always be Celtic left to prop up the coefficient.

13.) 15 Apr 2017 10:25:03
Haha you can't be serious about "Celtic propping up the coefficient"? Enlighten me as to what exactly Celtic have done for Scottish football in Europe over the last 3 or 4 years apart from a freak draw against man city (similar to Warsaw getting a freak draw at home to Madrid) and a draw away at man city against their reserves in a meaningless end of group game?

I'm not slating Celtic here, my point is Scottish football is where it is because of the money available to 6 or 7 bigger leagues in Europe. In the past big games for Celtic and rangers were champions league group games. Now though Celtics big games are the qualifiers.

Get through them then it's a case of take the money and run. While football is the way it is that won't change as it's impossible for Celtic and Scottish clubs to compete.

Is it not because its the same association that runs the league and the scottish cup Niall.
