Daily ranger at it again, foaming at the crotch because 1 numpty shouted something. And they don't even kno where it came from. Its this paper and others like it that should be done for inciting violence.

1.) 31 Dec 2016 15:12:59
Totally agree. Heard one or two "shouts" but couldn't tell where it came from but plenty of sectarian and banned songs from the home end. that was clearly identifiable to be from a large proportion but as usual sod all will be said or done about it.

Already I've seen posts on Social media slating Celtic fans for disrupting the minutes silence. Total arrogance that they cannot see their own shortcomings amongst what I'd say is a majority of their support!

And Neil McCann. GIRUY ya wee bam!

Be safe everyone if out tonight.

2.) 31 Dec 2016 15:29:06
Disgraceful reporting by the daily Hun. I thought the Celtic fans are very much to be applauded for observing minutes silence especially after listening to half an hour of anti-catholic sectarian abuse. I sometimes buy the record for football as I wouldn't have the Sun in my house either but that's me finished with the record. I would urge all Celtic fans to do the same. The paper isn't worth wrapping a fish supper in or wiping your arse with. But learned a long time ago that the Scottish press and BBC were never big on truth. I for one was proud of our supporters. 🍀.

3.) 31 Dec 2016 15:52:52
One tit shouted gb bobby sands that wasnit but they reacted by making more noise shouting the usual bile. The min silence imo went greatbwas proud to be a tim there not rising tonthere stunt.

4.) 31 Dec 2016 15:55:30
Guys as I have just posted, but will do again.
the guy that shouted was in fact a Rangers fan, my son has just been told that his mate ( Rangers fan ) was less than 15 ft away from the guy who shouted.

Lets see how they dress this 1 up or NOT.

5.) 31 Dec 2016 16:17:28
I heard that too cprs I suppose where the route of all evil too them the orange ear here's what it wants.

6.) 31 Dec 2016 17:13:16
The initial shout did come from one of ours let's not cover that up but 1 shout that was is you could hear a pin drop otherwise. I was next to my mate whispering please blow the whistle as it was tense but the bhoys all deserve credit. yes we know it was a ploy but it was respected (rightfully so) and then we done our talking on the pitch.

31 Dec 2016 14:20:35
To Neil McCann " i really want Rangers to win this one". GIRFUY. Ya wee walloper.

1.) 31 Dec 2016 14:23:43
Sorry son.

2.) 31 Dec 2016 14:43:55
My favourite comment was from Andy walker in the 1st half he said sinclair wasn't in the game lol not sure which game coz everything went through him.

Armstrong and dembele both amazing.
An honourable shout out for mcgregor who was a spectator 1st half but uped his game 2nd fair play.

3.) 31 Dec 2016 14:50:56
Thought mcgregor had a very good second half.

{Ed007's Note - I think McGregor comes in for a lot of unfair criticism. The whole team were rotten for the first half hour. He came onto his game when the rest of them did and for me he put in a solid performance.}

4.) 31 Dec 2016 15:14:47
I totally agree ed007.
Said it before every squad needs a utility player like mcgregor.
How many positions has he played this season?
Add to that he pops up with assists and goals.
For me not a first pick but still important member of the squad.

{Ed007's Note - And he seems happy enough with that role. McGregor would easily walk into any other team in Scotland.}

5.) 31 Dec 2016 15:32:08

6.) 31 Dec 2016 15:48:32
Nice and unbiased commentary from Neil Mccann there . Would have liked to have seen a bit more of his sour face on the tele. 😂 Never mind u little traitor.

7.) 31 Dec 2016 19:29:43
He knows what it means to play for celtic and he probably realises that his career will never have a club as big as celtic after he leaves ed007.

{Ed007's Note - He's made over 20 apps this season so it's not as if he's just warming the bench and Rodgers obviously likes him. I wouldn't have him in my starting 11 but he's definitely good enough to be a squad player for Celtic on the domestic front.}

Got to a good laugh at the tramps page, always cheers me up these days. According to some fud called seeker our manager has to turn the lights off before he leaves tonight. You would think they should be worried about keeping their own lights on. Our wonderful club is thriving, their current club is dwindling to the edge of existance. Its good, good times. Not our year in CL, but its all progress in the bigger picture. Onwards and upwards.

1.) 23 Nov 2016 23:33:37
Well said, Bhampot! Totally agree! HH!

04 Nov 2016 23:14:37
Can i just wish Andy Murray all the very best for his match tommorow, a win and he's number 1 tennis player in the world, a remarkable achievment and well deserved. A true Scottish sports legend. Go on son.

1.) 04 Nov 2016 23:32:29
Couldn't agree more mate! I've said it before but we won't truly appreciate what Andy has done til he's retired! Incredible sportsman and it shows that hard work pays off! To get to number 1 in the world in the era he's been playing in is some achievement! We should all be proud of him.

2.) 05 Nov 2016 03:17:31
He gets a lot of bad press for being a boring sod, which I think is unfair, he's got a voice that could cure insomnia but if u watch some of his interviews when he's not getting the usual negative stuff, he's quite a funny person really. Good luck to him, he's made the most of himself so fair ****s to him.

3.) 05 Nov 2016 07:48:42
|When you consider the era he is playing in, you realise how hard it is to achieve what he has achieved.

4.) 05 Nov 2016 12:24:23
it will be an amazing achievement …truly amazing!

16 Oct 2016 18:12:18
Is it just me or have there been a lot of heart attacks on the field of play since they started all this sport science nonsense in the 90s. Before then you never really heard or seen that kind of thing.

1.) 16 Oct 2016 18:30:03
Was thinking the same myself but came to a different conclusion. My thoughts are that it may be caused by doping and that it is predominantly black players who it happens to.

2.) 16 Oct 2016 19:21:58
I think I read somewhere that during the 1980's Liverpool went through a season using only about 14 players, yet they played over 60 matches, they were obviously fit enough.
Football as a sport is not only played at weekends, if clubs want to be successful then they have to tailor their fitness regimes to playing 3 matches a week rather than 2.
I think too often now clubs are targeting the league matches on a Saturday and nothing else, In England especially, teams are giving up on the league cup and FA cup, some clubs don't even want to play in Europe as it gets in the way of league matches.
I accept that there is a lot of money involved in the English league, but I always thought the idea of a sport is to compete with each other and try to win as much as you can.
If sports science means that you can't play 3 games a week then I am against it, the Lisbon lions played lots of midweek games, they didn't keep putting weakened teams out, and they didn't have the advantage of luxury travel the way that modern players have.
The lions can tell their grandchildren about all the medals they have won and about the history they made, a lot of modern players will only be able to boast about finishing 16th in the league, it all seems a bit of a waste to me.

3.) 16 Oct 2016 20:44:17
I am not 100% sure on this but i remember hearing that the majority of people who die from heart issue's on the field is largely due to un-diagnosed heart defect's gabby logan's younger brother died from it as have many others also remember kanu had a heart defect that was found when he was young think it was before he went to arsenal and he had it operated on allowing him to continue his career.

4.) 16 Oct 2016 21:04:10
Its not just the number of games played that is the problem . Every game means a minimum of three days training lost . The day before the match, the day of the match and the day after . That doesn't take into account long travelling times that can interfere with training even more .
The amount of games that Celtic are playing especially pre - Christmas are really crazy and there is no way a top club like Barcelona would be asked to play them.

5.) 16 Oct 2016 23:11:05
Think you're grasping at straws a bit, Oldbhoy, mentioning the lost training days, surely more lessons are learned and more benefit gained by playing sn actual competitive game, these are well paid (too well paid) , professionals, who are mollycoddled too much.

6.) 17 Oct 2016 08:38:00
I just recently took part in a sport science project and a lot of professionals there were talking about how much energy drinks were now involved in my current job you get to see the effects if people can't burn the energy drink or super protein off and the results can be frightful.

7.) 17 Oct 2016 16:54:32
Aindoh, you never complain about our defence conceding goals from set pieces, nor do u complain about us not scoring enough from our corners and set pieces . Of course you moan away about these things after watching a match on the radio .
Our manager needs more training days to work on set pieces and other aspects of the game . Playing matches builds up team spirit and team - work but British teams play far too many games compared to Spanish for example who really have a different touch than team based from these islands .
Celtic have played in front of the most spectators at home this season, not because they have the biggest attendance but we have played the most games at home .
Strang to say, I am clutching at straws and wanting players mollycoddled, plain stupid I am sure B R would expect to work the players far harder on a training day, than they would work in a match day.

Most rumours are falsehoods started by someone somewhere, so we may aswell all pack our bags and close the site. some folk really ought to lighten up a bit. If you want facts stick to the official club pages.

Dont get me wrong, playing 1 good game in 10 in that outfit is quite a feat. You can smell the dung wafting across the southside with this story. They need fast cash, so they tell their pals at media towers to spread the word of the collosal talents of their wonder winger, word spreads, now their are Premiership teams interested (none named) , and teams from Europe (none named) . No price has been mentioned. Its all just guff of the very highest order, KT is a powerful and fearless tackling defender whom attacks wave after wave, Mckay has a little bit of skill it has to be said, but is physically weak, and is just too inconsistent, maybe worth £1m to a lower championship side. There is no debate as to who is the better talent, they know it as do we. Its utterly shameless media prostitution by them. Its cringeworthy, and those inside clubs all over Britain will know exactly what they're upto, tried it before with Jelavic with the famous £9m mystery bidder to try and get as much as possible. They are going bust again and trying every well used trick in the book. Sit back and just laugh my freinds, this is one long lingering laughable fall into the bigots abyss and a very timely death indeed. I can only wish them all the very worst

I know what your saying, European progress is a top priority. But at home, to get 10 or more titles will give a generation of fans a generation of bragging rights, it sounds petty, but the feelgood factor of that achievement would last for years to come.
