Hes there biggest asset since Lewis Ferguson who went for about the £3:5m mark so they are entitled to ask for what they think his value is, personally a think in the £4/ 5m mark would do it.

The price, as far as we, the supporters concerned is totally irrelevant. The Blair Bhoy is of no value at all, if we sign him for £1m and he doesn’t get near the ist team squad, a waste of a down payment £1m and a wage, and maybe keeping a young fellow away from training with ist team .
As far as Miovski is concerned. If we pay even £8 to £10 m and up to £20k in wages he is one of the buys of the century if he comes to us scores and assists in more than 25 goals per week season after season.
We should be highlighting players who will fit into our team and do a good job, the Boards responsibility is to make the supporters dream come through .
If we say a player is too expensive, surely we are letting Board off the hook . The shouldn’t be our role.

Our support have not forgotten last season's shambolic summer window and I would hope our first signing sets down a quality marker that shows the intent and ambition of the club to progress and improve.

I just don’t know about Holm . I watched him very carefully playing under 21 against Ireland and although I was very impressed with his positioning sense and his ability to take the ball away from an opponent, I thought he was very lazy and unprofessional after he won ball, he usually gave a very short pass to a colleague but never attempted to make an angle or create a space to get ball returned . He stood out amongst all the other players on both teams and didn’t seem to have any desire to impress.

I know people want to see immediate signings but on the goal keeper we need to take all the time needed to get it right. as this is the major position needing filled in the summer.

All the positions we need filled are important.
GK, LCB, LB, CM, winger and striker.
I agree we need to get them right. I am just annoyed that the board did not bump Lawwell and Co, as soon as the January window closed.
Leaving it late makes this window harder. I know we have brought someone in but it is unclear what our current setup looks like. Hopefully we have identified the players we need and have the ball rolling. It is important to get them in early, get them a good pre-season and integrated before season kicks off.
At the minute we have 1 striker and no first choice goalie. It is also looking likely that our best player will be sold and we have yet to strengthen the areas of our team that need strengthened, despite knowing about it last summer.

I wouldn't panic now as the Euros will put a bit of a delay on what will be a chain reaction of movement. But in terms of targetting a Goalkeeper, all that should be done by now. The club has been well aware that Hart was leaving. Unless a better player gets offered to us then we should really have approached players' clubs/ agents by now surely?

I am not really worried when we get the players in apart from wanted them in before next season. The most important thing is that we get the right players, the players BR want and above all keep those who have served us well in the past.
Has anyone saw or heard direct quote from M O’R, I certainly haven’t, I know media has speculated, and hopefully he doesn’t go this window.

Don't think he would cost us 20 million. He's very highly rated by managers and coaches who have worked with him. Tbh I've watched him a good few times and he's not really impressed me. Doesn't have the strongest wrists doesn't command his area and makes a few clangers. I reckon we would need to pay 10/ 12 million to sign him.

No way mate, never 20m for a player that has only about 50 pro games in his career.
Id say 10-12m would be accepted with maybe addons or possibly even a loan as we are not in the same league as liverpool. They might try get 20m from another EPL team but they're not guaranteed to get it.

Imagine if the SMSM thought that Celtic were really interested in two players who would make our team a lot stronger for upcoming season and more .
Surely the SMSM would do their best to try to put both players and outside Celtic’s. reach by stating the maximum transfer fee and wages that their clubs are dreaming about, to try to stop Celtic before they really get involved .
I suppose, I should know better and know that SMSM would welcome talented footballers coming to Scotland . They have already mentioned one player who is going to play a few years before joining Real Madrid .

Again, at the time of negotiations, Siegrist was expected to be at the very worse completing for the position of first choice goalkeeper with another goalie not yet signed .
When Joe Hart was signed many of us were not convinced that he was much better than we had . However Joe Hart proved to be far better than we expected Siegrest found himself not used and he seems to have been a bit of a loose canyon, to say the least . He doesn’t seem to have been available for playing much over the last couple of years . With the possible non availability of Siegrist maybe we aren’t paying £15k per week .
Kwan £2k per week, I wonder are we still paying part of his wages.
