fantastic result last night but got to praise scott brown i had honestly thought going by the last couple of seasons especially in big games he had lost his way as at times he was to be honest really poor and i was one of many on here who thought he was finished due to injuries catching up with him bhoy oh bhoy how wrong was i captain fantastic was outstanding last night now all that's left is for broony to make sure we get the result we need next week to take our amazing club back where we all want to be in those group stages and for those players to be cheered on by the best support ever H. H.

I thought his injuries and time at the club had caught up with him too, but he seems to be fully fit and has regained his appetite, energy and influence in games as he was outstanding against Motherwell and Be-er Sheva.
Forrest will never be a favourite of mine, but he is having a mini revival as well and although some things are not coming off for him, he gave everything last night - for the full match too!

I agree bhoy123 I thought Broonys time was up, however so far he looks great. I hope this form continues over the year as we're only just started and there is a long way to go. I would like to see consistency develop especially from Forrest who will likely be on the bench when PR is back fit. JF will need to fight for his place and if he is used in an impact sub role he will need bring something to the table.
I'm surprised hearts haven't been banging the drum today about handball. Maybe the press will get to that tomorrow after harping on about flags all day today.
Well done to the players, manager, back room staff and fans. Last night was pure entertainment start to finish. I'd be happy to pay for a by subscription if I didn't have my mates password!

I must say I found it frustrating last season, defending Brown, to me it was evident that something has to be wrong with him, probably putting his club first by playing through . Anyone would know, u can't lose it so quickly .
Wee Forrest is a different case, he has spent 6/ 7 seasons as a promising ( youngster ) just when it seemed he was for the road he and Brendan Rodgers have connected and he currently working exceptionally hard as a winger, his cross for our second goal last night was brilliant .
Good managers have to not only sign good players that fit into the team but also get the best out of some existing players.

celtic CAN and WLL get through to the next round BUT the majority of those players need to be told that they need to find a new club and rodgers has to make sure that the board make the signings that the manager requires in time for the next round BECAUSE certain players AND our captain being one of the most consistent under performing player we have had especially in european ties need to go NOW.

I thought ajer looked a bit clumsy in some of the videos and maybe not as technically gifted as some. Decent pace, good tackler, gets stuck in and pops up with a few goals so as a DM I think he could do well. Depending how he develops and how BR uses him he could be good at protecting the defense. Might be a bit early for him to be first pick but he give's us options.

thinking being that the right hand side is better defensively and charlie can play the wide left role very efectively at times and would be good cover for izzy plus if malmo go all out attack as the coach suggested then any break up of play could lead to the ball going over the top and griffiths is our best option with his pace and finishing.

Be a good shout that I was thinking the same 2 wingbacks on the wing will provide good cover to the back 4. Thinking their pitch will be a lot more smaller than ours too so that will make us harder to break down too.

We are not at the stage yet, that we need to change everything and experiment with Allan who hasn't played for Celtic yet .
The tried and tested will work providing we don't do anything stupid defensively .
Trying new things won't make up for stupid defences .

that would be the same man who in my opinion cost us that final with some of his decisions and has to take the blame for failing to get OUR TEAM any silverware that season
Not for me di canio was a loose cannon as a player and so much worse as a manager di canio has an ultra ego problem and would most definitely bring destruction to the dressing room and as for swindon he lost the dressing and the respect of the playing staff and was also the same at sunderland so not for me mark
