this site used to be great with a bit of banter with the eds and other regular posters. Now however their seems to be an element on he here who think that if you don't agree with their opinion yuo must be a sevvy. One poster in particular seems to think he's an authority on everything . Now I have no problem with someone strongly defending their Heros but when it starts to become personal then that's anther thing entirely.

Am I that poster u speak of? Is it not personal to come on here and call one of our greatest ever managers overrated and question what he would have won if he hadn't spent money or had henrik! Is that not personal? I'm all for a bit of banter mate and I don't think I know Everythin! And if your question was only do we think MON has been a failure with ROI then I wouldn't have said a word! The difference between you and me is I respect your opinion although I don't agree with it in my original post I asked the question has oneill gone backwards as a manager I personally think he has and without johnRobertson at his side he's tacticly inept . On the subject of Seville theirs not a celtic fan alive that won't be forever grateful but that doesn't mean it excuses the mess he left behind as a motivater mon is great as a tactician I don't rate him and never have .

Yeah I read this the other day and I think what the original poster is trying to get across is that MON had a lot more money to spend than most managers and if he had to manage our current team, for instance, then he may not have been as successful, which is a fair point imo. I agree that the man will always be a legend, but think Wiss you may have taken the Proudcelts comments a bit to heart! Both of you make valid points

This forum has a small( my estimate 5/6 posters) who seem to have an agreement that they will attack,savage,disrespect any post that one of them does not concur with,while not being an everyday poster,but for sure an everyday reader I am finding this Clique syndrome becoming a little boring. you just need to check/ look at the Forum posts,to see who they are.

Proudcelt I thought your original post about mon was a tad silly to say if he didn't have Larsson petrov or lambert then he might not have had success, Ronny is being hailed a success by some people but would he have succeeded without Virgil broonie and johansson? I rate the manager on what he produces with the team he has and martin o'neil did a good job as did Gordon strachan.

Fab 1 , I am surprised at a contributor with your ability doesn't understand that just because a contributor doesn't agree with what another one says. , that doesn't mean he doesn't tolerate the other contributor .
I do find it difficult to be tolerant with the posters who are continuously intolerant with some of our players who have given worthwhile service . If that means I am intolerant that

Chris if I disagree with your post it's because I think you are WRONG about something not because it's you .
