Not Celtic related but about Euros. I've a lot of time for the players who'll represent England as they give me a lot of enjoyment via MOTD and super Sunday. The way I'm feeling right now, I want them to do well, even win the whole shabang. But if recent tournaments are anything to go by, I usually do a U turn coz the arrogance and hype the deeper they go into tournaments is nauseating. What are your thoughts guys?

Since I was 6, all I've heard is 1966, I cannot spend whatever time I have left hearing about 1966 and 2024, so god no.

I am flabbergasted, my summer would be completely ruined if England won Euros, I am just about getting over the home won World Cup in 1966 and i certainly don’t want to have to listen to them again.

It was Saturday 30th July 1966 and I was 18, I watched it on BBC TV, and was totally deflated. I was sure Germany would win.
I had a date to take my then girl friend to the pictures and the first thing she said to me was 'Isn't it great that England won the World Cup? '
We did not last long.

The whole of sky spotts tonight was about Englands players who didn't make or wer sent home, youl be lucky if Scotland get 5 mins coverage when ther final selection is named. unfortunately a can see them winning as the press keep telling us they have the best players playing in the best league.

While they have some great players, they have many deficiencies at the back. For that reason I cannot see them winning. Not to mention Southgate is a terrible manager.

In most cases the hype etc. is created by the media and not the players and manager.
As for MOTD? I cannot stand Lineker and his jolly boys club with shearer and wright etc.
Never successfully managed a club but can, as 'experts' tell us what the manager SHOULD have done.
