12 points clear, it makes sense, Liverpool are 25 points clear, we’re 13 points clear, it makes sense to call the leagues, no football will be played anytime soon. The only club who will argue that they could win the league is the sevvies, even though they admitted the league was over and wanted gerrard out the door.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool were not awarded title without winning on pitch . Despite their massive league they haven’t won league in about 30 yrs they could slip up again and their lack of winning experience could tell on them.
We have won it 8 yrs in a row and it is 2nd nature for us to win league.

old man Chris. absolutely no way Liverpool could throw away that lead, it's practically impossible. They deserve their much deserved title just as much as we do. If neither happen then it's an absolute travesty and both would be deserving of answers.

Does anyone think there will be many changes for the next game against Kilmarnock, with Johnston, Schlupp, Hatate and Khun, not playing well recently, l could see Ralston, Taylor start, Maybe play Schlupp in midfield instead of Hatate, and give James Forrest 55,60 mins and bring on Khun to replace him, Trusty will probably play, although Whoever plays centre forward for Kilmarnock will be in about Trusty all game, if Donnelly plays in midfield for Kilmarnock, he will get booked eventually, because he usually does.

A nvr watched us against sevco but a heard Rocky was our best defender and nxt game, why he was then dropped for Trusty a can't understand l, not many of us apart from Maeda are in form so why drop a pLayer who is playing well??♂️Ralston Ccv Rocky Taylor for me.

Trusty has recently got married so it's possibly that which is slowing him down with all the coming and going, ups and downs, ins and outs which is knackering him.

Although I posted similar about resting players who have been under-par for a few games; I don't think BR will make that many changes.
He seems to have settled on a fixed starting line-up and formation and barring injuries I expect much the same as last Sunday. Hopefully, with a better attitude and application.

Our centre defenders are since New Year caused us lots of problems . We use to be able to rely on CCV, especially if he was going through a spell without injuries. Since new year CCV appears to be injury free but his form has slipped and it is debatable if CCV is one of our top two centre backs .
Trusty was bought in in summer but he hasn’t convinced many that he is a Celtic centre back .
Nawrocki was given a couple of opportunities but not enough to be sure of his ability . Scales partnered CCV last season and although some worried about Scales, looking back he and CCV were probably our best partnership and were never bullied and out played as we have suffered this season.

Aindoh It is bad enough I am half deaf without been labelled blind because I don’t see Trusty as any improvement on Scales .
It appears there are other blind people on here as they don’t see Trusty any better either.

Scales is a much better defender than Trusty, (what a misnomer! ) added to that he is naturally left footed so a better partner for CCV or Rocky. Scales also offers something from set pieces in opposition box, something Trusty doesn't despite his height advantage.
{Ed007's Note - I'd even go as far as to say with the form we've seen from CCV this season that for me Scales is our most reliable CB just now - has playing with Trusty affected CCV's form?}

Both Kuhn and Hatate have been empty jerseys for weeks and should not be starting. McCowan looks to be our most creative MF currently and assuming Bernardo is fit, I'd like to see him get more minutes too.
The "huns without the bus fare" will try and rough us up as usual, so Trusty, Hatate and Kuhn should not start.
Back four of Ralston, CCV, Scales/ Nawrocki, Schluup would do for me.
Midfield McCowan, Calmac and Engels/ Bernardo.
Up front, Jota, Maeda/ Idah and Yang/ Forrest. 5-0 easy!

Reading a couple of posts yesterday regarding Bet builder betting, would

In terms of how it works or tips?
How it works - look for the 'bet builder' tab and add multiples of events you think will happen: Result, Player to score etc. Fouls conceded/ won do well for me. Keep it fun and go with your gut though. Some websites allow you to combine bet builders from different games.
For tips look for bettingvillage on twitter but play small stakes. See if it pays off for the 'tips' you go for. These guys put a bit of analytics work in for you. Build a 'pot' and then increase stakes if you fancy but playing with bookies money. Betting should really be a bit of fun though and never gamble anything you will miss for more important things.
{Ed007's Note - Glen, I dip my toe in to a bit of gambling now and then and I'm back doing it because the season has just started, they are really easy to and the choices are quite self explanatory. I'm only betting £1 or £2 as a wee extra interest in our games - I'm far too stingy and miserable to be a serious gambler.}

To be honest Glen, for me betting is always down to getting a feeling about a game rather than these stats guys. Sometimes you just take a fancy for a scoreline, a goalscorer or a booking depending on the opposition. I read a predictor ahead of last night's game and it looked well put together but they were recommending a 2-2 draw.

With Beaton being the referee on suday, does anyone think he will referee this game the same as he refereed our last game against sevco, no fouls against Dundee in the first 20 mins or so, give fouls against Celtic, so Celtic don't get allowed to get there passing game going, book 3 Celtic players in the 1st Half of the game, or is this tactic by him only for Celtic v sevco games.

That's what most of us are expecting and with Sevco playing first, there is a strong chance we will be level on points. The manager and players will be of the same opinion, as many referees do similar.
The SFA know BR won't utter a stutter or he may be liable to miss the Sevco game. It's therefor up to the players to try and play as they can (at pace) and above all take their chances. We have shown for decades that Celtic can overcome cheats and corruption.

If Hatate wants to play in a better league, why does he not show more consistency with his performances while playing in Scotland, if he wants to leave hopefully Celtic will get a good transfer fee.

Ajwr still can't defend, he has to grab onto a opposition players arms, when defending free kicks or corners, but that is allowed in English Football for some reason, you don't see penalty kicks being awarded for all the pushing and holding that goes on.

Hopefully this will be the start of getting the players that are not part of Brendan Rodgers plans, it was mentioned on these pages a while ago that there were about 18 players who Celtic could move on, but it is not always a easy thing to do if the player is getting a good wage, without contributing anything as a player to the 1st team squad.

Would Celtic have signed any other player with such a long injury record, but it's Kieran Tierney, so Celtic will sign him, In my opinion, l think Celtic have been lazy in signing somebody with so many injuries, could Celtic not have signed someone younger, that has pace, what does this say about Celtics staff who have the job of bringing players to Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers has been a successful manager at Celtic, but this tippy happy football around the penalty box doesn't help my blood pressure, we can beat all the teams in Scotland, but recently against sevco they seemed to have worked out how to play against us, and unfortunately they won the last Derby game recently, Does anyone think Brendan Rodgers will have a plan B, the next time Celtic play sevco, or will be the tippy tippy around the penalty box still be the way Celtic will approach the game.
