See the boy shankland being looked at today I’d take a punt on him he scores for fun, playing regular football albeit a league down from our own but I’d give him a chance, know about his family’s football background couldn’t care less if we get him he may not be the glamour signing we clamour for but as I say he scores goals, would like to see us sign a battling midfield player I know wanyama has been spoken about but he’s not played in a good while so getting his match fitness may take a while would rather we sign players good to go, not let’s get him up to speed, just my thoughts hail hail 💚.

Da1888 we have sign the best player in that league twice in recent years and both have been abject failures.

That boy scores goals for fun I don’t suppose what I or you kev for that matter will have any bearing on the signings we will make, all I’m saying is he was watched the boy did score a hat trick Nicky Hammond was there I personally would be quite happy to give the boy a chance, Mcginn made the step up it’s always a chance with the budget we have if players are a success, pay ure money take ure chances, I’m still hopeful that griff will become a regular again but maybe it’s my heart ruling my head he’s a big miss 🍀.

Morgan tore that league to shreds
Allen controlled whole games at a time.
McGinn made the step up with a smaller team, he did not jump straight to the champions who are un the middle of a dog fight for the title.

To me your argument does not make any sense, McGinn didn't make the step up to a smaller team, McGinn was always good enough, to those that could see his potential, Allen was handled all wrong at Celtic, I would have had him in the team before Brown, Morgan will probably still be a big player, bit somewhere else now, people are so snobbish about Scottish football, and more so about anyone playing in the lower divisions, football is a simple game and there are a lot of simpletons watching it.

We sent a better player to hibs on loan in Liam Henderson than allen
Ofcourse youd have him in the team before brown but thankfully 3 different managers had more sense than you do.

Morgan was never and will never be good enough for Celtic no matter how he plays at a smaller club.

This guy that scores goals for fun as people keep saying couldn't even get a game at aberdeen and only scores goals in the championship or below and at 24/ 25 he's no longer a prospect to take a punt on.

I have no problem signing players from scotland and the ed will back me there as I was happy with signing the likes of taylor
But if we are signing from scotland the player has to be at least proven in the spfl.

Da1888 I agree with you. 22 goals this season the boy’s scored. Big Cosgrove has 21 goals. Exactly the type of players we need, out and out goal scorers!

Scott Allen should have been in for Scott brown whos just led us to the last 10 trophies out of 10! And u call other people simpletons! Morgan is a bang average player and won’t be a big player anywhere but the lower level! Replace broony with Allen 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

McGinn started at st Mirren and play 98 games in our top league before playing in the championship and spent 2 season there.

Shankland moved to aberdeen, hand 4 years with them and managed 17 games. Including loans he's in his 9th season in the championship or below.

Their career is nowhere near the same.

Kev as I said every signing is a gamble, and we all have different takes on players, there’s always some player who the boo bhoys don’t like, here’s hoping we can return to the grind with a couple of new faces one being a striker, here’s hoping our injuries lessen, rogic is one I can’t fathom he seems to constantly pick up injuries baffling I hope el hammed gets fit again soon think the defence is more solid with him in it 💚.
