It's like pulling teeth listening to the ex player link drivel, head of recruitment is pivotal in how we move forward, wouldn't surprise me if the board announce the successor the day before deadline day ?.

I really don't think taking any of our past players back would work, that includes Jota. They have had their time, gave us some great memories but it is very difficult to go backwards and have the same success.
The sadest thing is that going backwards would cost us an arm and a leg and make us no money, no for me, BR and his team should be looking at young quality players with some experience and possibly a couple of older experienced players who can help us out in Europe. Maybe freebies on decent wages.

Edouard was terrible after he didn't get his move during the 9 season. Didn't look the same player and certainly didn't look good for an extended period down in the pub league either.
