Don't think he would cost us 20 million. He's very highly rated by managers and coaches who have worked with him. Tbh I've watched him a good few times and he's not really impressed me. Doesn't have the strongest wrists doesn't command his area and makes a few clangers. I reckon we would need to pay 10/ 12 million to sign him.

No way mate, never 20m for a player that has only about 50 pro games in his career.
Id say 10-12m would be accepted with maybe addons or possibly even a loan as we are not in the same league as liverpool. They might try get 20m from another EPL team but they're not guaranteed to get it.

Their clubs want £20m each (some posters think clubs will quote us less because we are Celtic, aye right)
Then there is their wages Odsonne quoted as earning £90k weekly
Kelleher won't be far off that either
Even if Celtic broke their wage structure and offered £50k that is still a long way short for players to accept, anyway circa £40m for just two players, there goes our ENTIRE transfer budget.

Imagine if the SMSM thought that Celtic were really interested in two players who would make our team a lot stronger for upcoming season and more .
Surely the SMSM would do their best to try to put both players and outside Celtic’s. reach by stating the maximum transfer fee and wages that their clubs are dreaming about, to try to stop Celtic before they really get involved .
I suppose, I should know better and know that SMSM would welcome talented footballers coming to Scotland . They have already mentioned one player who is going to play a few years before joining Real Madrid .

French Eddy downed tools when NL blew the 10.
We sold him for a very good fee considering his contract was running down and like many fans I'm glad we got rid of him.
I'm not sure, even if he wasn't on approx 90K per week, why any Celtic fan would welcome his return? ?
