And I expect baby sevco to throw themselves about go over the top with tackles and be allowed to do so . Hearts will be play a lot better against Celtic than what they did against sevco, its what they do, Hearts will be right in the faces of the Celtic midfielders and try win that battle, the Celtic midfielders will have to stand up to everything that Hearts through at them, l also expect the Hearts players to fall to the ground dramatically to waste time, and the referee and linesman will help them, with them getting free kicks, Celtic don't have wingers that try and get past the defenders, so that will be a area that Hearts won't have a problem with.

We should have enough to beat the mini Sevconian at home. It's how little we control games that has become a huge worry.

I'd be starting with idah and iwata at the weekend. Iwata isn't perfect but he at least can break counter attacks down. With McGregor hatate and O'Reilly we look soft and rarely win the ball back.

We need to start taking our early chances. Our midfield has been non existent almost all season but they need to turn up now and just get this over the line.

One thing for sure we will have to improve on yesterdays game and be much more clinical in attack, compete and control midfield and defend crosses at the back post a lot better than recently.
The points are paramount in all games, but if we can click into place all over the pitch it gives the team and support more confidence.

Celtic like many teams don’t use their wingers to try to beat man on outside and cross big long crosses into box, as even if Kyogo was playing well he couldn’t get on to the end of them and get header on goal .
First half yesterday was a very good example of Kuhn creating danger by cutting in and he got a couple of shots on target and on many an occasion slipped the ball into vacant space behind left back and midfielders or A J got crosses in from good positions.
JF on the left wing wasn’t intending to take on RB when he scored a goal in each half . If we played Idah more maybe our wingers should take on full backs . But IMO BR isn’t going to make changes at this stage.

3 Points is 3 Points But. Wow, what is going on with us as a team just now? Why are we so bad? I was at the game yesterday and it's amazing what you can see that you maybe don't pick up watching it on TV. Kyogo unfortunately just now is like playing with a man short and offers absolutely nothing upfront, The Dundee defenders never had anything to do until Idah came on.

If McGregor is fit then maybe he is starting to show that he is losing it, he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 at present, and Iwata should be easily ahead of him.

You can also clearly see that Scales has ZERO confidence at the moment, guy is a bag of nerves. I don't blame him at this stage, I blame Rodgers for starting him. No way Nawrocki should be benched when Scales is in the form he is in.

We need to really up it between now and the end of the season Because if we continue to play like that we will drop points and throw away the title.

Very valid and you would think the manager sees the same problems as us. We are used to seeing Celtic teams pushing and flowing towards the finish, but we seem to be stuttering and stalling at times.
I can understand him not wanting to rock the boat with wholesale changes but needs must and a couple of tweaks could make all the difference, especially when a few players are struggling badly.

Kyogo tends to be a passenger in most games, if he doesn't pop up with a goal he doesn't have any real impact in the game. Idah is a menace and gives the defenders a torrid time and should be given more minutes. Our press is non existent without Maeda leading the way, giving up easy possession. Maeda is brutal but so important to the way we have to play. Looking particularly at the last two games the midfield three failed to turn up against Aberdeen and only Hatate turned up yesterday, that's the main reason we are struggling to play well. McGregor i'm certain is not fit enough to play and we are just trying to get him through to the end of the season. Delighted to get the three points but every game we currently play we look like we could drop points.

Kyogo works best when we have 2. Quick aggressive wingers / wingbacks that can cross. We haven’t had that in a while. Don’t know what’s happened to MOR 🙄.

Poor performance same old story can't kill teams off but we got the points. but if we play like that till the end of the season we will get beat at some point. forrest must play till maeda is fit and calkum nay be fit but is well off it as is kyogo the Dundee cbs must have thought it was Xmas they had nothing to do till idah came on. kyigo needs a rest.

Celtic have only conceded the 1st goal 6 times which is brilliant but our problem has not been able to finish teams off.

If Ange actually gets over the line for 5th place with Spurs this season, will his EPL achievement be better than Rodgers TWO fifth place EPL finishes and FA CUP win with a very average Leicester side?

On the flip side, if we get rid of BR at the end of the season, as some are suggesting, is Jack Ross still in the running?

Firstly, Ange's achievements aren't anywhere near what Rodgers managed with Leicester.
Secondly, the only way Rodgers will be leaving is if Dermot says so or if Rodgers quits which will never happen as he has mentioned on numerous occasions since he came back that he will be here for AT LEAST the 3 years of the contract that he signed.

This was a day that Celtic were better team for the greater part of the first half and only had a super strike from J Forrest giving us a one goal lead at the interval . Dundee piled on the pressure from the restart and it took us a full twenty minutes to lift the siege . Forrest pressurised Dundee on the end of their penalty area won ball and then took short pass and scored his 2nd .
Celtic struggled for most of 2nd half but they didn’t give up and kept going to end.

THE most important thing was we won. Regardless of how we played BUT regardless of IF we win or lose the league its clear that we need MAJOR fixing this next window. A LOT of players need shipped out permanently but also we need 4 or 5 quality players brought in ATLEAST and we need them in quickly not at the end of the window IF we win the league we still need them in ASAP but I hope we can ship them out as quickly I can't see us bringing in 5 quality players but I would hope for atleast 3.

Another hard watch and again powder puff in midfield. We really need a couple of strong tough tackling midfielders.

That was simply awful. I feel strongly that BR needs to change things quite a bit.

We can't keep these types of performances going.

some will say . We won. which is correct. But that's two performances in a row when we could have been beaten.

I was cutting BR some slack, given the recruitment mess. but keeping playing guys every week who are 4 out of 10 will blow up in our faces soon. We don't have a functioning midfield. We don't have any full backs.

Why are Dundee showing more willingness and fitness than us? Why can't win any balls in midfield?

I'm can't wait until this season is over. Hard to enjoy when most of our players are not up for it.

We need changes for next week.

For me personally, I would have McGregor no where near the team just now. He gets bullied to much in the middle and we started to move the ball quicker and with more purpose when Iwata came on.
Kyogo is well off it also and Idha needs to start more, especially away from home.
On a positive note, I thought Beaton had a good game and let the game flow and i'm glad Baby Dallas and his VAR team weren't involved as I had myself convinced that the way they were pumping the ball into the box for the last 5 mins that we were going to conceed a penalty.

Celtic currently have quite a settled team.
Time will tell if it’s good enough.

Now isn’t the time to start changing our fullbacks and midfield.

I will also be glad when this season is over but it will still be enjoyable if we can get over the line, top of the league.

Celtic do need changes for next season.

Trying to shoehorn a clearly unfit McGregor hasn't worked. If he's not fully ready, he shouldn't be starting. I'd go with Forrest, Maeda and Idah against Hearts as well if Maeda's back.

Bernardo could come in. Hatate is not just not contributing but is like Yang…. Constantly giving the ball away and exposing us. A liability. Plus he won’t tackle and has low energy. Couldn’t believe he lasted the match.

Kyogo is a good player…. But for some reason his confidence is shot…. Need to Bring the Idah in.

That’s two changes that can help us.

I don’t know how we fix our fitness but every team seems to be going for us in the last 15 minutes…. Are we really that unfit?

BTW I’m not saying Bernardo and Idah are great 😎.

We have to keep changes to the minimum Buzz Bomb is right . We are a small light team and have to work harder and use more energy than the far taller and physically stronger. Dundee team .
Hatate was not at his best but he played a good ball in to Kyogo which led to opening goal and hit the post when we were 2 nil up.

I don’t know why Kyogo is getting again from fans. He is a striker and like all strikers they need service so there is not a lot he can do without it. Our midfield created nothing today.

{Ed007's Note - So what about the sitters he misses when he does get the ball- like he has since he came in to Celtic - whose fault are those?
We're playing a LW as our main striker, since he came in he's missed more clear cut chances than he has scored, he doesn't have that striker's instinct that a Henrik, Sutton, Hartson or even a Hooper, Leigh Griffiths or JVOH had.
A good striker will create their own chances when their team mates aren't helping, create space for their team mates in and around the box etc, Kyogo adds nothing to the team except the odd goal, he's had a 54% shot accuracy this season, one of the lowest in the squad.
People are looking for excuses for Kyogo, it's Rodgers system, it's the wingers and midfields fault blah blah blah, there's no excuse for the levels of performance from Kyogo this season.
Idah has scored 7 goals in 11 games, Kyogo has 13 in 41 games, so who's giving Idah the service that Kyogo isn't getting?
I've said this stuff since Kyogo came in, he was and is never good enough to be Celtic's main striker and we will not progress as a team if he continues to be our main striker. It gives me the fear the thought of going into next years CL with CalMac at CDM and Kyogo as our main striker.}

Said before that with what we have at this moment in time, I’d consider playing without wingers ( Jamie, s contribution acknowledged ) for the last few games. We wouldn’t miss them as they never give us width or get to the line. That would beef up the midfield, protect the defence and we could play with two up front. Couldn’t be worse than what we’re watching just now.

Spot on Ed, oh how I yearn for the days of Larsson, Hartson and big Sutton. Even big Giakoumakis would bring far more than Kyogo currently brings. don't see why we can't play with a front three of Forrest, Kyogo or Maeda and Idah. It needs something different.

Giakoumakis was a proper striker. I thought he was one of the best we’ve had in years. He’s Idah on roids!
