Let us hope Dundee still have ground covers on as forecast for Saturday Sunday in Perth Dundee is for RAIN.

24 Apr 2024 15:29:09
They would have a field day trying to rearrange that game and probably have us go there on the eighth for maximum risk of injuries and/ or suspensions - or is that too far fetched?

24 Apr 2024 12:10:17
With Beaton being the referee on suday, does anyone think he will referee this game the same as he refereed our last game against sevco, no fouls against Dundee in the first 20 mins or so, give fouls against Celtic, so Celtic don't get allowed to get there passing game going, book 3 Celtic players in the 1st Half of the game, or is this tactic by him only for Celtic v sevco games.

24 Apr 2024 13:00:50
That's what most of us are expecting and with Sevco playing first, there is a strong chance we will be level on points. The manager and players will be of the same opinion, as many referees do similar.
The SFA know BR won't utter a stutter or he may be liable to miss the Sevco game. It's therefor up to the players to try and play as they can (at pace) and above all take their chances. We have shown for decades that Celtic can overcome cheats and corruption.

24 Apr 2024 13:27:17
I’m sure Brendan will have his players fired up in the correct manner.
Not in the way, to give Beaton a derision to make against us.

Play the Celtic Way and Beaton won’t enter any calculations.

Hail Hail.

Just watched goals we lost in semi again as lots of folk saying Hart could have come for 2nd and 3rd. If he was positioned better he could have but was way to close to front post and moving back across goal made it impossible. Had been in middle or more towards back post maybe but no chance from his staring position. Whether he was positioned right or wrong who knows but we must surely work on this stuff but lose way too many similar goals. Hart, AJ, CCV, Scales, Taylor and none of them command the box in the air. Therein lies the problem.

24 Apr 2024 08:48:31
I’m expecting clubs in the Top 6,to now play similar balls to that back post until the end of the season.
They would be daft not too.

Scales, Taylor and Hart will need to be on their toes.

24 Apr 2024 09:51:44
We have to improve on Sat starting on Sunday as that was well below par. we need to be killing teams off as that's been a major issue all season and is hurting us big time.

24 Apr 2024 12:02:14
Our problems on Saturday in my opinion came from the quality of cross Aberdeen were allowed to get in . This problem has happened in many other games . On Saturday AJ was either too tired at the end of match, or he was afraid to get too close to their attacking winger to stop cross . Again, imo I think AJ knew he was on yellow card and was afraid of getting too close and receiving 2nd yellow or a penalty . Just look at AJ going out half heartedly before 3rd and at half pace towards man on ball and then turning his back and allowing the sheep all the time in world to pick cross . This is certainly not like AJ, but who would want to meet team mates having conceded pen or red card.
Ralston could be substituted, but he likes to put in a tackle and maybe BR is afraid to use him .
I think the best way Celtic can see out games is by ball retention and when we do lose ball make sure they don’t get ball within 30/ 40 yds of our goals .
Our defence rightly panics when opponents gain procession within 30 yds of our goal, it isn’t just the likelihood of ref awarding free / pen to opponents, but the fear our defenders have of getting close attempting tackle and then the consequences.

24 Apr 2024 14:31:08
Both full backs allowed crosses especially AJ.

24 Apr 2024 23:24:02
I think Cal Mac isn’t helping out full backs as well as he should . i think he may have been better before his injury .
S Brown was very good at making sure full back wasn’t isolated and Brown worked very hard to stop crosses . Taylor isn’t the first wee left back to leave his position unmanned but we prevented opponents from getting time and position to get top crosses in.

"I saw 'Fat Sally' saying he would be saddened if Celtic faced the same fate as Rangers in 2012, i.e., they went into liquidation.

However, he is a deceitful individual. I vividly remember his comments in 1994 when we were on the brink of financial collapse.

He callously remarked that he would 'dance on our graves' if we succumbed to administration".

23 Apr 2024 22:18:50
When did he say he would be saddened, mate?

23 Apr 2024 22:50:49
Today.

24 Apr 2024 01:39:19
In fairness to Sally, 1994 was 30 years ago. A man - even a miserable orange 'un - might be expected to change his mind in 30 years.

24 Apr 2024 05:10:46
Aunt Sally showed his true colours when his beloved club died.

He sold out his own fans for monetary gain, see the emails between him and Charles green. His premeditated words also led to chairmen receiving death threats from their deranged fans.

Believe me, this cheeky chappy act is a sham.

24 Apr 2024 12:05:53
I could never state in fairness to Ally or any EBT recipient or any members of the Ibrox Tribute Act . Both the EBt recipients and everyone connected to new club illustrates fully the chaotic cheating by the Scottish game.

23 Apr 2024 19:51:39
I agree with the post from Weejoe but until our referees have only one profession and can be promoted or demoted in that profession then this corruption will continue any person earning from another promotion does not fear any comeback with regards their performance they just go about their other jobs. And given the current standard of said officials you would think that if they studied full time standards may improve.

23 Apr 2024 20:17:45
One thing for sure taking a short term view, Our SPL match v Dundee we won’t be safe entering injury time without a 2 goal lead . It isn’t just the son of the bigot Dallas as VAR but Beaton as ref who will want to give Dundee a penalty out of nothing but also the fear in every Celtic player of going close to Dundee player or hand near ball which undoubtedly result in Dundee penalty.

23 Apr 2024 22:33:36
That's it in a nutshell. The biased decisions incorporated by VAR is just the tip of the iceberg. The real damage has been instilled all season with fouls on Celtic players waved away, while the amount of ultra-soft free kicks gifted to every opponent to stop us playing. Then there is the yellow card imbalance used to intimidate us.
The establishment will try every avenue to influence the season.

23 Apr 2024 19:51:01
Av noticed David de Gea still hasn't got a club, does he carry an injury or price himself out of a move somewhere. mb worth at least an enquiry 🤷🏽‍♂️.

23 Apr 2024 23:48:44
The most over priced, overpaid, overrated goal keeper of all time.

24 Apr 2024 09:29:07
Well, he is 3 years younger than Hart so, if he is interested, might do us a turn.
Bit overrated sometimes but not a bad goalkeeper.
Worth a shot?

In the midst of the beautiful game's most thrilling moments, the integrity of football is put to the test by the decisions of those entrusted with upholding fairness and justice on the field: the referees. Yet, in Scotland, this fundamental pillar of the sport is crumbling under the weight of incompetence and suspicion.

For far too long, Scottish football has been plagued by the specter of dodgy referees whose decisions not only mar the game but also raise serious questions about bias and even corruption. It's a scenario that has left fans disillusioned, players frustrated, and the credibility of the sport tarnished.

Despite widespread outcry, the Scottish Football Association (SFA) has shown a reluctance to address this pressing issue effectively. The status quo persists, leaving fans and stakeholders alike feeling powerless and disheartened. But all hope is not lost.

Enter UEFA, the governing body of European football, with the power and responsibility to ensure the integrity of the game across the continent. While UEFA may be hesitant to intervene in the internal affairs of national associations, the time has come for them to take decisive action to restore faith in Scottish football.

A proposed solution lies in the implementation of a rigorous assessment system overseen by UEFA, whereby referees' performances are evaluated both on the field and through the lens of VAR technology. Referees would be held accountable for their decisions, with only those meeting the highest standards of fairness and accuracy being permitted to officiate in European competitions.

This system would serve as a powerful incentive for referees to uphold the principles of integrity and impartiality, knowing that their future opportunities in the sport hinge upon their ability to make correct and just decisions. It would weed out the incompetent and the biased, ensuring that only the best and most deserving officials are entrusted with the responsibility of officiating at the highest level of the game.

By implementing such a system, UEFA can send a clear message that incompetence and bias have no place in football, regardless of national borders. It would demonstrate a commitment to upholding the integrity of the sport and safeguarding its future for generations to come.

To the fans who have endured countless injustices on the field, to the players who have suffered the consequences of dubious decisions, and to the integrity of football itself, the time for action is now. UEFA must heed the call and intervene to rid Scottish football of its referee crisis once and for all. Only then can the beautiful game truly flourish.

Uefa are as bent as a bottle of crisps.

23 Apr 2024 21:49:18
I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic made a complaint to UEFA, no matter how clear cut complaint was, Celtic would finish up punished. The Masons and Orange Order members would conspire to rule Scottish Football Association fair and right .
We know what it’s like in the Demi-Province to bang your head against a stone wall to try to get fairness.

Just this week they have decided that even though all ranks of Brit’s Army told lies (yes perjured themselves) in Bloody Sunday Enquiry, they wouldn’t be prosecuted. Their perjuring cost Brit Gov £191 m, if truth had been told cost has been estimated short of £20m
This shows authorities can rule as they want.

24 Apr 2024 01:40:47
A Spectre is haunting Western Scotland . . . lol.

Nice, Weejoe.

23 Apr 2024 14:18:38
Regardless of all that we supporters say Celtic will not come out and question any decision made with regards to officials in charge of our games. Even the SMSM who can see the same collusion that we can write nothing or call us paranoid we'll with no official at uero 24 obviously Uefa can see that they are all sub standard. My money is on Sevco financially unstable and the establishment hoping to clear their debt. Or someone has£20 quid on sevco doing the treble.

23 Apr 2024 15:03:38
I agree, and when they saw the injury and recruitment problems we had since the start of the season, they fancied their chances.
This would have been boosted by our inconsistency in the first half of the season and some very controversial intervention at Tynecastle and Ibrox to guide the points away from Celtic.
Add to that the amount of crucial penalties awarded to Sevco and the rotation of a small band of selected officials hand picked to try and influence games and you can see a pattern of manipulation.

23 Apr 2024 13:53:19
. No Scottish Referee's at Euro 2024 as it clashes with marching season.

23 Apr 2024 14:30:03
UEFA were concerned that even if they were on VAR they would still try to award a penalty to the rangers. 🤣🤣🤣

Sad indictment of Scottish referees, even with twice the number of officials required SFA has NONE not 1 official involved. Enough said.

23 Apr 2024 15:30:24
I just seen we also have none at the Olympics. The Solomon island's have an offical picked! SFA and Crawford Alan in hiding.

23 Apr 2024 16:32:18
Just shows everyone what Eufa think of the standard of the officials in Scotland.

23 Apr 2024 12:29:34
The SFA are being serious in the run in Cheating as ref and baby Dallas on Var for the Dundee game how predictable.

23 Apr 2024 13:13:00
Yet WC hasn't had a league game since that mobs complaint.

23 Apr 2024 20:05:46
With Celtic once again playing after Sevco, appointing notoriously biased 'officials' sends out a clear message of intent.
