Reading this morning that Willy Sagnol wants to become the next Celtic manager. what's people's thoughts on this story. oldkilly.

oldkilly

1.) 18 Apr 2019 11:44:42
Underwhelmed tbh.

2.) 18 Apr 2019 12:09:57
He's got very little managerial experience not for me.

3.) 18 Apr 2019 13:21:51
I’d agree not experienced enough but after the news that we are looking interested in David Wagner and doing a wee bit of research I think this guy would be an excellent appointed and I really hope this happens identical style to klop fast attacking football and he did well with an average Huddersfield side small budget ideal manager if you ask me 🍀.

4.) 18 Apr 2019 15:18:14
I don’t think we are interested in Wagner mate I think you’ve just read my post from last week and taken it as gospel 😂.

5.) 18 Apr 2019 20:02:39
😂 Na didn’t see your post it’s all over the papers and social media so thought their might be something In it and considering he’s out a job definitely wouldn’t surprise me.

6.) 18 Apr 2019 22:03:56
Wagner on paper sounds like a great fit my concern would be on how he left Huddersfield seems like he needed a break from football if he can't handle the pressure at a club like that then would he survive in the madness that will come with being our boss and the added lunacy of the whole of Scotland trying to derail the 10 or am I mistaken did he leave Huddersfield for a different reason I'm sure you guys will know more than me.

7.) 18 Apr 2019 23:07:58
I believe it was mutual consent they were bottom of the league and they decided to part ways I don’t think it had anything to go with needing a break and I don’t think managing celtic would be hard for him he would manage the job I think, at the end of the day we will find out soon enough who it’s going to be but like I said I’ve heard celtic are interested in him there will be others too and time will tell.

Cup final day 25th May What a special date to create another piece of history for the club by winning a treble treble . oldkilly.

Been told the next game against sevco w/ e 27/ 28th April . Hopefully league is officially won by then, be interesting to see who is in charge. oldkilly.

oldkilly

1.) 02 Apr 2019 13:20:40
Good chance it's the Sevco-Select of Collum, (red card red card) Ross on the standside line and Madden/ Beaton the 4th official ha ha.

2.) 02 Apr 2019 14:11:52
Collum is not a rangers fan.

3.) 02 Apr 2019 14:35:53
Has collum had a sevco game since slippy came out n publicly criticised him?

4.) 02 Apr 2019 15:16:54
To be fair to Bobby Madden, he gave us 2 penalties and sent off one of their players in the cup semi final last season, then on Sunday he sent off 2 of their players.
I don't think that officials should be allowed to referee games where they support one of the teams but at least he gave us the decisions.
Going back I can think of some referees who wouldn't have given us anything.

5.) 02 Apr 2019 15:36:25
Don’t rule out Kevin Clancy, could be his first after being 4th official on Sunday . oldkilly.

6.) 02 Apr 2019 17:20:27
Clancy getting it will burst a few bubbles oldkilly.

7.) 02 Apr 2019 21:04:45
Madden had a good game really.

8.) 02 Apr 2019 21:31:34
In charge of what, Oldkilly, Sevco?

9.) 03 Apr 2019 08:57:16
Madden isn't as bad as everyone makes out. I think he is the best of a bad bunch but he isn't afraid to give good honest decisions against them. Where most are.

Now that the dust has settled following yesterdays rather surprising news and posters having aired their thoughts and opinions on BR regarding his loyalty to the best job in the world (his words) and being a life long fan of the club it got me thinking of all the other I'm a Celtic fan through and through players over the years Crerand, Nicholas, McClair, Macari, Johnson etc, who were quick to jump ship likeBR. Im of an age were the following players Fernie, Evans, Peacock, Collins, Stein, Provan, McLeod, McAdam, Gemmell, Wallace, McGrain, none of them Celtic minded who gave their all for the club and stayed much longer than the above mentioned. Those are true Celts . oldkilly.

oldkilly

1.) 27 Feb 2019 17:06:09
Well you should know Crerand was in tears when told he could go.

2.) 27 Feb 2019 17:09:38
Read Sean fallons book what a true Celt he was.

3.) 27 Feb 2019 18:28:02
Pat crerand was practically thrown out park head after Robert Kelly walked in on him having a blazing row with Sean Fallon during half time in some game.
He never wanted to leave Celtic.

4.) 27 Feb 2019 18:30:14
Mcstay genuine world class stayed the distance.

5.) 27 Feb 2019 21:47:20
Oldkilly, I agree. Br's claims are hollow, and as fake as his tan. Broony wasn't born a Celtic fan but he will die one. HH.

I see Kris Boyd bumping his gums about being hit on the arm by a coin yesterday, I know people shouldn't throw objects, it was about 20/ 30 seconds before he reacted by looking at the ground . The fallout to yesterday was in my opinion a result of Celtic winning so late on breaking a great number of hearts. I do he is okay and is released from hospital soon, as i said objects shouldn't be thrown but for me this is all down to final score. oldkilly.

oldkilly

1.) 18 Feb 2019 14:12:27
Coin throwing is for that other mob. I don't want these guys supporting our Club. Identify him and ban him. Just gives others ammunition.

2.) 18 Feb 2019 14:36:38
I said yesterday that the coin throwing pitch invasion SB red card would be all the media headlines due to their pet club's chance of the League has gone. I hope the guy gets banned (not Brown the coin thrower😂 (if caught. God knows how these nutters think it's a laugh to throw coins at a player. The orcs are up in arms about Catholic Conspiracy;Catholic Refs😂😂😂Celtic supporting CO:It's the hope has killed them again😂😂I hope killy put them out the Scottsh Cup and the remainder of the season will be Vikings on tour.

3.) 18 Feb 2019 14:38:08
As a rule I am against throwing object at individuals or towards playing pitch .
Sometimes there is an exception to every rule, and if I was making exceptions at throwing coins at individual, I would make an exception to Kris Boyd . His double life of singing the praises of the 6 yr old club whilst on playing books of Kilmarnock shouldn't be tolerated.

4.) 18 Feb 2019 14:49:45
Seen Kris Boyd with a joke sling on. He is a cheeky chappy.

5.) 18 Feb 2019 16:08:29
No excuse for that behaviour total a@seh@le.

6.) 18 Feb 2019 16:11:46
There is no excuse for coin throwing, and it shouldn't be made light off, it is nothing but a disgrace.

7.) 18 Feb 2019 17:06:16
The first lady of The Republic of Liberia had a great day watching her Bhoy. Hopefully he stays at the end of the season. Whover missed a 25stone target better get to Specsavers.

8.) 18 Feb 2019 17:08:16
No place for it in our game, you want to throw tgings, take up darts!

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

9.) 18 Feb 2019 17:46:20
I wasn’t making light of it as I said it shouldn’t happen, Boyd didn’t even know a coin was thrown at him as it brushed the sleeve of his top, there was no reaction from him for the 20/ 30 seconds i mentioned until some one told him then he looked down. I agree the culprit if identified should be punished. oldkilly.

10.) 18 Feb 2019 18:32:17
Lighten up i wis only giving Kris Boyd some spare change so he could a pie.

11.) 18 Feb 2019 18:56:37
Come on, we all know coin throwing is terribly wrong . However the target of the coin thrower was K Boyd, hardly an angel, in fact a terrible example of most that is wrong with Scottish Football . He is payed to play for Kilmarnock yet almost on a daily basis he spouts positive propaganda about Rangers 2012., developing and building sectarian divide in Scottish football . He has never got even something neutral to say about Celtic .
Now we should seek out the culprit and particularly if he is a young lad or lassie, he/ she should have a good talking to and pointed out that behaviour is unacceptable.
I would hate any young person to be barred from Celtic football for a period for throwing coin at Boyd . Obviously even if Boyd is the worse low down person in Scottish Football we cannot continue to throw coins at him .
Remember we were all young, once and maybe we didn't always behave perfectly.

12.) 18 Feb 2019 20:56:23
Don't understand the logic of it being kind of acceptable, because the target was Boyd, ridiculous argument.

13.) 18 Feb 2019 21:22:07
If there was much as he said there was he could’ve feasted in Greggs till the end of the season don’t get me wrong don’t condone it makes us as bad as them if I’d seen it cnt would get it from me more annoyed that these are the headlines whereas it should be that that was the day we won the league.

{Ed007's Note - It's bang out of order any Celtic fan throwing a coin and it's not at a referee or the Orange Walk 😲😋 Seriously though if you're throwing coins at anyone at a football match you deserve to be severely punished and banned from games, it's bawbag behaviour and we need to stop it.}

14.) 18 Feb 2019 21:50:11
Haha ed when I was young it was tailing the orange walk giving it roaming in the gloaming getting them to chase us down a close into where the older bhoys were waiting 😂.

{Ed007's Note - The good old days.......

Well done Glasgow Celtic against what I can only describe as thuggery and for not reacting to the provocation. The comments from the pundits on Balls challenge on Christie beggars belief, to say it was accidental, it was nothing other than serious assault and should have been taken away by the police. Im not a great fan ofNeil Lennon but well done Neil for today, and our stats in cup competition will never be equalled 26 straight wins and 81 goals scored exceptional. Hail Hail. oldkilly.

Mally regarding the Man City game last night, with the high millions of talent on show I gave up at half time, for me it was a dreadful game of football, don’t know what others thought. oldkilly.

I’m not a fan of Lennon, the games games since he has been in charge have been pretty dire, although unbeaten I think it’s fair to say it’s not been nice to watch. Yesterdays game was pretty dismal due to the way Livingston played, to be honest I could have managed them. That was anti football at its best Man City, Barca, Real Madrid would have struggled to score, and to hear pundits praising Holt for his tactics beggars belief and to see him cupping his ears at the end wasn’t very professional either. Football is supposed to be an entertainment, that yesterday was torture no wonder fans are staying away from the game these days. oldkilly.

I also hope we don’t sign Lennon permanently either, since he came in it’s been absolutely dire, yes we haven’t lost but it’s not nice to watch. oldkilly.
