Benkovic in the stand tonight 👀.

1.) 30 Aug 2018 21:55:39
Will be quite a few signings tomorrow, stand by your beds, Griffiths looked a bit annoyed, injured?

2.) 30 Aug 2018 22:05:21
Not a crazy rumour either bhoy1der, it's a fact. HH.

3.) 30 Aug 2018 22:07:43
Saw the picture, definitely him!

4.) 30 Aug 2018 22:25:31
Griff did go straight down tunnel after coming off. reappeared on bench though few mins later. hopefully just a precaution.

5.) 30 Aug 2018 22:30:34
If Moussa stays, mulumba signs, benkovic signs and full back and midfielder signs, ok window?

6.) 30 Aug 2018 22:30:49
Prob just to check hairline, broony rubbed it pretty hard.

7.) 30 Aug 2018 22:37:49
Loan deal benkovic all but done, hope it’s benkovic and not berkovic.

8.) 30 Aug 2018 22:38:02
He was changing a nappy.

9.) 30 Aug 2018 22:43:54
Might just have needed a dump?

10.) 30 Aug 2018 22:44:37
Ya he looked pissed off. Hope it's not his calf again but he went straight down the tunnel with the physio. That's all we need is him injuried also. Hope it's nothing 🤞.

11.) 30 Aug 2018 23:05:04
Rodgers says he think mousonda and Benkovic will only be the transfer activity we do tommorow. What you make of that . We will have went through this window and spent a couple of million and that’s it. Doesn’t seem very good on my account.
Do you think we have had a good window if these 2 are only ones signed tommorow.

12.) 30 Aug 2018 23:11:42
Tamtam I wish I had your level of optimism. If we get 2 loans tomorrow that's it I reckon. Mulumbu and Benkovic. The club clearly is not going to be paying any fees. HH.

13.) 31 Aug 2018 01:38:54
Couple of million? Eddy?
Hail hail.

14.) 31 Aug 2018 06:56:13
Kev that's what I was thinking 😂😂😂.

15.) 31 Aug 2018 09:17:13
I think Mulumbu is a half decent player, but do we really need a midfielder?

good backup, but we have backup for our backup in midfield lol.

and he's 31. Who's place will he take? Ntcham, Brown, McGregor?

16.) 31 Aug 2018 09:51:44
What if brown got injured? Would much rather mulumbu coming into the team over kouassi.

17.) 31 Aug 2018 11:55:21
100% agree birminghambhoy. Kouassi for me is miles off Celtic level. Think the transfer proves that.

29 Jan 2018 09:26:42
A friend, who has friend that works at airport, has just sent me a pic of charly masonda arriving. so he's definitely in Glasgow.

15 Jan 2018 19:03:51
Hearing rumours our Physio/ club doctor is on a flight to Germany. Also heard us linked with Franco di Santo of Schalke. could the 2 be linked?

Find out next week on.

Another dead end window story.

1.) 15 Jan 2018 21:24:51
Fecking hope it’s not di santo! He’s absolute mince.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 21:25:53
With Erick leaving could this be the signs to come ED I don't see much more coming in unless a big player leaves I. e Armstrong what's your thoughts ED?

{Ed007's Note - I have no doubts that there will be signings made before the window shuts.}

3.) 15 Jan 2018 22:48:42
Turns out physio is in Germany as Armstrong is having a hernia op over there.

17 May 2016 08:49:31
Hail hail!

New member here!

I've heard 2 separate rumours pointing towards one guy becoming new manager. One of those involves registering his kids in school here. that man is Neil Lennon.

Anyone else heard similar?

1.) 17 May 2016 10:38:07
Think he kept his home in Glasgow and moved back soon after he left the Bolton job did he not?

2.) 17 May 2016 11:54:29
If someone follows this up with news about NL getting a sky package sorted then it's only a matter of time before he's unveiled.

3.) 17 May 2016 12:11:34
He's had a flat in Dowanhill for years, and still has it. His boy was at St Aloysius before so it's hardly a big deal if he's back there if they've all moved back to Glasgow. He was a good player for us, I respect him totally but his management spell with us was average. It took a few attempts to get in Europe under him, we were appalling in domestic cups, and there was no Rangers. Even Aberdeen weren't as good then. Bolton was a failure, so why anyone wants him back is beyond me.

4.) 17 May 2016 12:15:42
For anyone that's interested - Frankie Boyle lived in the same street the last I heard.

5.) 17 May 2016 12:37:56
Frankie Boyle you say he's good at talking might be worth a punt. 😀.

6.) 17 May 2016 13:14:46
Alternatively Jim, - we could get Frankie to do our PR. If Malky Mackay gets the job we might need to. All kidding aside, I just want us to, for once, go and pay whatever it takes to get a real top manager. I'm talking someone even better than Martin O'Neill. For me it pays for itself, - it can improve the whole club, from selling more jerseys to improving our youth. The whole dynamic/ standing of the club changes. It also gives you that edge, extra 10%/ 20% before we even play a game. The opposition automatically thinks we're better than we are also, it changes the perception completely. And let's face it, as it stands our stock has never been lower. We have to do what it takes, I'd happily sell Biton for eg and give the money to a manager as a salary. If we get hit with a Lennon or a Mackay it will honestly tip me over the edge. It will be a potential case of human combustion.

7.) 17 May 2016 13:19:47
Delphic I'd say you're being a wee bit harsh there. Lennon inherited a woeful Mowbray team and had to buy a lot of new players and in a short space of time if you remember how the club made him wait ages before appointing him. He then took all those new players to within one game of winning the league and then won it the next season with Rangers still there. Cups, I agree they were rotten. Europe, definitely 50/50.

8.) 17 May 2016 13:42:37
Got to agree Delphic get the best manager we can. I'd certainly be happy with o'neill as he gets the best out of what he has IMO. I've got a horrible feeling that the club are going to wait till after the season ticket renewals before appointing someone. If sales are good then expect Lennon and if sales are poor they might have to push the boat out. That's why I'm not renewing till I know who it is as I want the best not the easiest option and withholding renewal is the only bargaining chip I see. That said I might still renew regardless who is in charge as they won't put me in any worse a seat than I have just now so I can hold off .

9.) 17 May 2016 20:34:54
Ma mate works for virgin and he said lennon got the full package the day. Just for u tpp

10.) 17 May 2016 20:35:53
Joking obviously he's not much of a mate

Tonight was another example of our inability to manage a European 2nd leg from a positive position. we need to learn how to at uvly.

27 Feb 2020 22:13:21
A lot of people are looking at brown. but whole midfield disappeared 2nd half for me. we missed Christie's energy. it's another example of us not being able to play a second leg when in a positive position. I always think we're better with first leg at home. we wouldn't be as disappointed if the other mob didn't get a result. however 4th treble is on the cards and they won't get passed next round.
So come July this will all be irrelevant. 🍀.

12 Feb 2020 22:04:13
Can't wait to go to work tomorrow 😁 the bluenoses asked me how I thought tonight would go. I said we'd take 6 off Hearts and their game with Killie could potentially be a 1-1. delighted they were right that I'd be wrong 🍀.

1.) 12 Feb 2020 22:59:52
bhoy1der can i come to your work with you also to wind them up.

29 Jan 2020 19:17:41
In O'Neill's bar in Aberdeen (working up here again) . last time I was here was when we played Sarajevo first leg. got chatting to a Bhoy off the rigs. he introduced me to his mate who proceeded to telle about every drug induced experience he'd ever had. missed most of the game. now every time bar door opens I duck 😂.

09 Nov 2019 10:45:53
Looking forward to Griff getting back fit,

1- it means we have cover for eddy
2- it means we can remind our bluenose friends we have 2 strikers better than their petted lipped Columbian.

1.) 09 Nov 2019 12:10:21
Hae that muppet boyd says he worth 50mil that's more than the whole team worth what the is he real mad cows desease that's never going to happen he hasn't played at an elite club yet sevco ain't elite what a fud.

2.) 09 Nov 2019 12:20:49
Scored one and made one against Porto who are second in the Portuguese league and they’re on same points as us with only one goal separating us. He’s doing not too bad.

3.) 09 Nov 2019 13:19:15
We have to stop going on about him. IMO he's a not bad goal scorer who is scoring at a not bad level.

4.) 09 Nov 2019 15:21:56
he is a good goal scorer but an average player/ / / if he had not played for them but say abdeen or hibs, and had the same stats most people slagging him would want him bought.

5.) 09 Nov 2019 15:53:56
He's a cracking goal scorer and banging them in domestically and in Europe, he looks to have sorted his attitude but until he scores against us then he'll aways be El Coo😆.

6.) 09 Nov 2019 16:02:51
He is a good player. He is by far their most valuable asset and will go for a decent sum. I for one will not be sad to see the back of him.

7.) 09 Nov 2019 18:10:28
Until 10 in a row is over one way or the other he won't be going anywhere, it would be a massive mistake to be so short sighted and sell your best player at this stage, unless he wants away. Same goes for us, unless our big players ask away then they should not be sold.

Attacking line up, I'd have liked bitton in there for extra height defending set plays as it's their most likely route to a goal. hopefully we'll have this put to bed for halftime. Rogic needs to turn up big time tonight! I'll go 3-1 hoops (working in Aberdeen again, so in O'Neill's which we're unbeaten when I watch here 🍀)

Great bench. rogic, Christie and elyanousi are all match winners. can understand people wanting Christie in but who do you drop? Griff and Eddy look great together. and Forrest is on form (well until next derby anyway) tough game tonight. reckon it'll be 4-2 hoops.

Would be better going to a Scottish team. worked great for Christie and Ajer.

Happy enough with that. Hayes has been struggling with the defensive side of late and teams have been looking to exploit that. Taylor's big chance tonight.

Griffith's on for Christie at half time no doubt, would like to see sinky get a good few minutes tonight.

I said pre match Rogic had to have a big game and it looked promising at the start but again he fell away. I don't know why Lenny didn't go with 3-5-2 and Griff up top. but he can't be blamed for jozo errors or players like Forrest and elyanousi disappearing second half.

Yes Ed all Rangers should be smited/ blessed with Tim children and grandchildren. and hopefully some orange order grand master's grandson bags a new year's Day hat trick in the hoops one day! 🍀.

{Ed007's Note - 😁👍

I'm trusting Lenny on this one. I reckon he's still settling in, I watched a video on YouTube of him playing FIFA with Stephen O'Donnell and Robertson and Snodgrass and he seemed a little reserved and perhaps lacking a little confidence. reckon he's still coming to terms with joining one of the biggest clubs in the world. think he'll play next midweek.

Should never have got rid of Strachan, the progress we were making under him has been undone, we have no identity, no style of play, but our biggest problem is we genuinely don't have any half decent centre halves.
