neil lennon i believe won't get a penny until we sell and get a big fee. i really hope am wrong but if the past is to go by in regards to transfers god help us.

1.) 11 Jun 2019 05:07:43
Give yourself a break. The window has literally just opened this morning and we are sitting with 3 trebles and 8 consecutive league titles. let's stop the negative carry on. if our club has a maximum they will pay for individuals then I think they should stick to that. I genuinely believe that one of the biggest issues in the previous windows was Rodgers, he had a certain type of player he wanted and if the club couldn't strike a deal he didn't go for other options. although rangers have made a few howlers they have done a lot of there business the way lennon did and went for players who are out of contract (ledley, Mathews etc) . I have confidence that we come out this transfer window better off than we went into it and we shouldn't be knocking out club until the window is shut never mind before its even open. number 9 is on its way.

2.) 11 Jun 2019 07:34:57
We have just lost 9 players from the squads wage bill with more likely to follow so there's plenty of money in the pot and as it stands we only have 1 recognized RB and LB. We will get some deals done early in key areas. Just hope we pay off Compper and get him gone as early as possible that'll be a good start to the window.

3.) 11 Jun 2019 09:21:40
Your far to sensible Craig for this site we like negative didn't you know 👍get with the programme.

4.) 11 Jun 2019 11:47:17
What gives you that impression RobRoy? Apart from a complete lack of any supporting evidence?

5.) 11 Jun 2019 12:49:52
ok guys have you been over the moon with the transfers in the last 2 seasons. let's remember why neil left first time around. i pray we go and do our deals early without controversy and I will be the first to apologise if this happens but w will see.

6.) 11 Jun 2019 15:22:44
Jaysus, the moaners on this site are enough to drive people away. If you haven't got anything positive to say then maybe it's better to say nothing. HH.

7.) 11 Jun 2019 15:16:36
the window just open our best players are still here regardless of what crap other papers say to sell papers or other sites, with celtic click bait. they and we know nothing what celtic are up to, we never have or what any other teams are bidding.
if we keep out best players keep shipping out the dead wood, don't forget we have been getting ready for this year coming last year, few contract ext few new players loaned out and now back training for us ready to go. i for one would think 3 more in get wage bill down no hanger ons.
so far celtic have done great things remember that.
The negativity from our own fan drives me nuts if any player gets sold and makes our club a lot of money you should be happy and say say thanks the player and remember the gd times which incidentally we have right now its great to be a tim
I Know the money should get pumped back through the club it does sometimes not on players but contract renewal, pitch and building upgrades. New hotels state of the art football training ground come on lads.
our stadium is one of the best looking in the world not to bad for an unsuccessful team, or for our owners who in your words not got a clue the stats say exactly the opposite of what some celtic fans say, oh and in a little place called glesga.

8.) 11 Jun 2019 16:10:45
Our stadium is nowhere near one of the best stadiums in the world, it’s a great stadium for atmosphere but one of the best stadiums around is a massive stretch.

9.) 11 Jun 2019 16:41:51
inside our stadium and outside our stadium amazing.
the area its in its like a new place down there are you even a fan QUINN its a matter of telling everyone in the world how its the best in the world to come and visit then they believe. is that not how these things start. i for one think its the best in the world and punches way above our needs.
so celtic fans want more better players blah blah we have to sell to these better players around the world that we have the whole package but its celtic fans like you who are of the opinion we are not the best stadium. how do you sell that apple say they are the best phones but its obvious it is not apple believe they are the best that's what celtic fans believe we have and are the best.

10.) 11 Jun 2019 17:35:59
Are you drunk fitness? Celtic fans like me? If the club are after a potential signing they have never contacted me or any other fans to tell the new player how nice a ground we have. Celtic way is decent but if you take off the green tinted specs there’s loads of stadiums better than ours. (Again not for atmosphere) Hanging posters of previous players and trophy wins can’t really hold a candle to the Allianz arena and stadiums like that. So you are saying if we say it for long enough it must be true.
Might try that with a girlfriend, it is 12 inches long . 😂.

11.) 11 Jun 2019 19:52:19
rose tinted you are damn right there Quinn. drunk with happiness yep
all my posts are like that i don't care.
for the past eight years yep win mostly everything posters yep trophyies yep i don't care about allienz arens with there billions. we do it with history and fans parting with there money maybe that's fashioned in your eyes but TV deals the big boys in media want nothing to do with us the English league want nothing to do with us.
show me another club whose stadium can compete with us with our small budget and with our 8 in a row, our history there are non.
even the grounds around looking better now with the hotel new training pitches etc will attract better players its all in the paxkage
i also think potential new players etc would feel motivated to play in front of 60,000 fans IMO that's a gd selling point that was what i was referring to.

12.) 11 Jun 2019 20:06:40
I’d totally agree with you regarding wanting to play in front of 60,000 fans. Everyone on here wants the best for the club, some have different opinions as to how we get there. Me personally would like us to spend a bit more to enable us to stay clear in Scotland and give us a chance of at least not looking like we are there just to be whipping boys, others want us to only spend what’s basically been set out and avoid a person type meltdown. Each to their own as long as we get the right results.

13.) 11 Jun 2019 20:44:50
i agree with you but even in the english league i was watching partly the europa league final im sure it was that game one english player on the park the rest foreign so England will claim there players are the greatest but let them know they are not take away big wages and the great players would go to other countrys.
now imagine if celts got as much as they do via tv deals we would run riot the only thing i would hate would be if no scots are the celtic team,
there is talent out there get in the schools train the ajax way from a young age it would work, teach kids to train hard eat the right way they would take this into there adult hood and even if the kids don't make there life skills will always be there.

14.) 11 Jun 2019 21:13:24

15.) 11 Jun 2019 22:22:12
After we build the Hotel, we have to demolish the brick entrance and add in more seating, in preparation for the Atlantic League, which will happen in the next 5 years.

27 Feb 2019 10:28:06
has any body heard that rodgers had an agreement with liverpool that part of his settlement package was he couldn't manage back in the premiership for a period of 3 years. if this is true then he was just sitting and waiting to dump us. karma will find him one day and soon i hope.

23 Oct 2018 00:44:11
hi guys. do you think brendan would have came to paradise if he knew he was going to be operating in the loan market?

1.) 23 Oct 2018 05:55:06
No chance. You just need to look at his demeanor over the summers shambles to answer your question.

2.) 23 Oct 2018 07:16:45
We've had 4 loans that I can think of under Brendan and 2 of which we signed after.

3.) 23 Oct 2018 10:22:07
Operating in the loans market?
5 loans
Bain - signed
Edouard - signed
Roberts - tried to sign.
Daniel Arzani - reported option to by but need to wait and see
Benkovic - probably out our reach.
Clown fae Chelsea sent packing.

De vries

So out of 19 signings 15 of them have been permanent signing and one may have an option to buy.

So please explain how is operating in the loan market?

4.) 23 Oct 2018 10:10:47
No he wouldn't have and luckily he's not operating in the loan market.

5.) 23 Oct 2018 11:10:20
6 loans. Can't count 😂.

6.) 23 Oct 2018 12:53:30
That’s a really un-thought through comment.

Celtic has always had loanees in the modern era. Brendan would have expected it.

Loanees are normally high value players, sometimes beyond our financial reach. Big Filip is doing an excellent job and is worth £13m. Brendan will be happy he’s there helping to bring Brendan success.

It’s a great situation Celtic can attract such quality. It raises the game in Scottish football and is good for the whole game up here.

If you’re suggesting Brendan won’t get a sell on % cut of loanees, that might be there with contracted players then that’s a very mercenary attitude and would depend upon Brendan’s contract which I’m sure you haven’t seen.

7.) 23 Oct 2018 13:04:45
Grey Heid Bhoy I reckon it was a fully thought through comment looking for bites.

8.) 23 Oct 2018 13:53:54
Agree Kev, what could a Celtic fan have to gain from such a play?

9.) 23 Oct 2018 23:29:21
I don't mind a loan if it's a top. quality player. Roberts, Benkovic and Edouard are like somewhat our new marquee players. We can't afford/ refuse to pay for players like this (Edouard excluded) but agree if we are more strudent in recruitment we could have the bones of a great team. We all know here we need to invest just wish we would but 2 players a season in the mould of Ntcham. Promising youngsters waiting to step up to forst team. With the odd experienced player coming in too.

10.) 24 Oct 2018 10:25:30
the reason i asked the question wasnt loaded.
i just want a settled team to go for ten.
loan signings can cause uncertainty with clauses
that you need to play them. we have the cash so let's splash
it and show that mob what power we have. and i think brendan would like that flexibility also.

11.) 24 Oct 2018 13:16:05
It’s a three way balancing act:
1. Buy talented players (cheaply if possible)
2. Develop youth from Reserve Squad
3. Bring in proven loan talent

I think we get the balance right. You’re not going to get all three right. Giving youth game minutes can cost points and it’s a big step up for them (Hendry and Johnstone) .

The big failure is if you buy a player and he’s costly and a dud.

Loan players can be sent back in the next window if they’re gash.

12.) 26 Oct 2018 00:41:45
ghb i do agree with your logic but it can put off players from coming if they think a loan player will get preference. i am just impatient i want to spend 150 million but then i don't want to end up like the immoral mob. i am new to this forum stuff and do apologies if i started of wrongly.

guys i know it was a preseason friendly but it had at least 8 of neils starting 11 for next season. french eddie needs help, he is no good on his own and it puts us under pressure. views please.

12 May 2019 14:38:16
that today people was a total embarrassment. well done jonny hayes but your teammates let you and all there supporters down today. there is one positive from today thou is that neil is NOT up to the job now. the club and the job is too big for him. i love him as a player and what he has done for our club, but please walk away in the summer and don't taint your memory's. lawell better get this sorted in the summer or he could be on his way also. hail hail.

1.) 12 May 2019 14:52:45
Totally agree Lennon isn’t management material, he’s like a mate you’d drink with in the local!

09 May 2019 23:28:10
guys. i fear with the next two matches coming up before the final that our boys will get kicked of the park if the refs don't get a grip. they will try and weaken our first team for the final by any means.

1.) 10 May 2019 08:04:39
Rob that’s not a fear it’s a fact. McCann actually said that the Hearts game before the final is (quote) ‘One for the hard men’. And you can be sure their big cousins in Govan will be having the same thoughts. Play the under 20s or a second string in both games they matter not a jot.

2.) 10 May 2019 07:29:41
Not any different from the rest of the season then.

3.) 10 May 2019 10:19:40
We really have some weird supporters at our club. since when did a Celtic v rangers match not mean a jot? Not to mention all the people paying £50 to watch a reserve team. Then there's 60000 sell out at Celtic park on trophy day when the players who won it should sit in the stand. Personally I love it when teams get stuck in to each other it raises the interest and tempo, they're all big boys and I'm sure they can handle it. On injured players does anyone actually know how many injuries this season are due to serious foul play? Prob not much more than most clubs but I might be wrong.

4.) 10 May 2019 10:43:45
I have thought about this situation and first opinion was to give the young guys a game as it is a bit meaningless from our point of view (other than bragging rights) .
However, if (big IF) they were to get hammered then that result would.
1. Give the media a field day at our expense.
2. Possible Detrimental effect on the young players.
3. Get the dead so worked up they will buy more ST's
4. THAT result would remain on the record books as a fact.
5. Kind of cheat OUR supporters who may have spent a lot of money just to attend (Hard earned cash, travellers from abroad etc. )
NO, we have to at least start with our recognised top team.

5.) 10 May 2019 11:02:47
3 games left of the season im sure our players can handle that, strongest possible team in all the games for me. They can't be allowed to finish on a high. No way am I listening to weeks of people climbing out the woodwork cos we've played kids.

6.) 10 May 2019 14:59:15
I’m sure if you asked the players if they wanted a rest to miss the rangers game and the league game against the mini huns they would all laugh. I for one am glad we aren’t just coasting along to the end of the season.
These games should hopefully keep our players sharp until the cup final.

7.) 11 May 2019 02:15:36
I agree with a lot of the points made guys. While I wouldn’t wish them luck in a raffle the game doesn’t matter in the context of the league and cup and treble treble is massively more important. There is also a disrespect and humiliation factor in playing a second string against them I’d quite enjoy watching even for £50. They’d be in a lose lose situation playing against the young lads but I get what your saying.

28 Apr 2019 18:32:45
guys has anyone seen the photo with pedro and jose mourinho and 3 other gentleman?

{Ed007's Note -

1.) 28 Apr 2019 19:00:44
ed have you seen the photo?

{Ed007's Note - Yes.

2.) 28 Apr 2019 19:11:32
is it a fake?

{Ed007's Note -

3.) 28 Apr 2019 19:28:33
sorry mate. my security won't allow me to open it.
thanks any ways for the response. hh.

{Ed007's Note - Oh right sorry, it's a fake mate. I posted the pic it was taken from and then the pic going round. Lawwell's face is obviously photoshopped just by looking at it. Both Mourinho and (I think that's his agent) Jorge Mendes on his right look at least 10 years younger.}

4.) 28 Apr 2019 20:23:22
thats why am on here. you always get the truth. cheers ed hh.

{Ed007's Note - No probs mate 👍

5.) 28 Apr 2019 20:54:20
When he was thin with black hair by any chance?
It’s years old it’s Vila boas with his back to the picture.

{Ed007's Note - I think it's either AVB's agent Jean-Paul Lares or Rui Faria next to him with his back to the camera. The guy on the left I have no idea, I'll ask Ed002.}

6.) 28 Apr 2019 20:58:33
Is that no villas boas across from Jose.

7.) 28 Apr 2019 20:59:33
have had some fun thou, sending it to my sevco mates and they are panicking we are going to spend mental money to put them back in there box lol hh.

8.) 28 Apr 2019 23:26:11
Ed the guy on the left looks like Will Ferrel, maybe they’re making a movie about Jose’s life haha.

9.) 29 Apr 2019 06:13:34
Rui Faria is a shout! Think it’s more likely him! A wouldn’t want Jose anywhere near us I cannot forgive him for his teams antics against us at Seville. Cheating scumbag.
Ed you heard anything about who will be managing us?
Iv heard DD wants Michael Oneil god forbid.

10.) 29 Apr 2019 16:36:54
The new managers initials are seemingly M. O. easy to work out, but might not be the one you think lol.

11.) 29 Apr 2019 17:35:06
😂😂Liking the PL photoshop. Mourinho looks 10 years younger.

23 Apr 2019 09:12:51
rest in peace big billy
you will never be forgot
thank you for the memories
lost for words
hail hail.

the green brigade do a great job. but now it needs to be taken to the next level. lawell pisses on us every season with excuse after excuse. i think for next season the season book renewal should be after the window closes, then if your happy renew, if not you dont. but us sitting on our arses moaning but doing nothing is going to cost us big time.

peter lawell doesn't care what we all think or want. his only interest is the bank balance, hence the cheap skate appointment of lennon. we can all greet on here and it won't make a difference. unless we get rid of lawell nothing will ever change with regards to getting quality players and a quality manager. the orcs can smell blood and they are moving in for the kill. we need t get quality in before window shuts. hail hail.
