I still fancy that Dons striker Miovski would do well with us. We always seem reluctant to pay SPL teams their players worth. We know he makes a bee line for the opposition goal and we know he can score.

Miovski is also my realistic preferred option, since I found out Edouard was on about £90k a week.

There are bound to be plenty of fish in the sea, the most important thing is to sign a striker that settles down well and scores regularly from the chances he gets . It’s extremely difficult to know whether a striker from a foreign league is able to, adapt and kept up his scoring rate when he plays for Celtic against packed defences, for that reason it is difficult to look beyond Idah who we have had a good luck at . He also processes what Billie Mc Neil regularly spoke about, , he is Celtic minded.

I think he's a cheaper and currently a more accomplished option than Idah and an upgrade on Oh.

DontLookBack- I'm not sure why he's more "accomplished" option the Idah. He has played well against us and them. But the game against killie, added to cup final goal, last minute winners, last minute pens, I don't see what he's done to be more accomplished than that. Million miles better than Oh for def.

If we are signing a striker who has played in SPL, I think it has to be Idah , he has height strength ability and loves the club.

Idah has scored on 2 glasgow derby's one being the winner in a cup final. how anybody thinks miovski is more accomplished playing in a less pressurised environment is beyond me.

Billie McNeill was highly thought not only as a centre half and captain and twice as a Manager . One thing that Billie said often was that he always looked for Celtic minded players. I think he mean’t players with a love for Celtic . Idah certainly looked a different player, a player playing with more hunger playing for Celtic compared to Norwich .
