So, the SFA deem physical assault by sevco player as a slap on the wrist punishment but verbal assault is an 8 match ban. (I have no doubt that what was said was probably nasty) but to physically attack someone (in full view of the referee) and be told to stop being a naughty boy AND be selected to play for your country.

ED007, just a quick question in regards to McCarthy, are Celtic still interested in him? Do you think there is a possibility that he will be a Celtic player one day?
{Ed007's Note - McCarthy needs to get fit and stay fit or he'll be no use to anyone. It's still James' dream to play for Celtic and with him being 5 years younger than Scott Brown he would make an ideal replacement for him in the Celtic team.
I don't think it'll happen any time soon but in 2/3 years who knows, McCarthy has told Everton he won't be leaving for a mid-table team or one fighting relegation and last summer he told Everton he would only move to us on (an initial) loan or stay at Everton.}

McCarthy is a hell of a player but the guy just can't stay fit for any period of time. Would love to see him in the hoops one day but reckon he would need to prove his fitness at Everton first. McGinn may be a better option.

Apparently, their brand new, all whistling singing and dancing super grandstand built at ENORMOUS cost, has one teeny weeny flaw, about a quarter of the stand has a great big CONTROL ROOM restricting fans from seeing one of the goals.
But not to worry Mrs Budge is just REDUCING the prices of these seats lol.

Just came round after having my gallbladder removed and hernia sorted l thought l would cheer myself up by reading the latest posts and on to TB in answer to Chris if Tommy is not a wonderful person and a legend to our club then l don't know who is as he never had a bad word to say about anybody and as he always said he was a fan who got lucky.
Lennoxtown should be named after TB without a doubt remember how bad barrowfield was.
R. I. P Tommy and to his family you will never walk alone.

Be careful with your weight, as many people pile on the pounds after having gall bladder removed .
I am sure if you read my post again re Tommie Burns you will note that I, too, praised him and wouldn't let anyone say a bad word about him .
As their hasn't been a real or successful clamour to name Lennoxtown Inmemory of T Burns, I just expressed the opinion if Brendan Rodgers takes us through 10 in a row and success in Europe using many players from our academy maybe he could get the alcolade .
However if the board decide to give it to T B I will be happy enough.

Just proves that you never can tell if a kids going to make the grade in football there’s so many pitfalls and shows how lucky we are to have players like KT CalMac and even James Forrest who come through our own academy. Great read all the same Ed.

Still play this too sometimes. Celtic have a cracking team in this version. Always sign Samba, Mark Kerr is great too and Justin Georcelin, who in real life ended up getting done for armed robbery or something.
