As predicted one match ban and one suspended did we really expect anything else. Robertson doing the livie game Sunday let's see how that goes or was it just Beaton Rodgers complained of being incompetent if that's the case what's the betting on Beaton getting some involvement in the Glasgow Derby at the crumbledome.

I didn't think Robertson had that bad a game, it was Cheating Beaton that was sticking his neb in that caused the problem.
There is a good article on Celtic Newsnow about the amount of times Beaton has sent our players off/ given penalties against us when the ref or in VAR but let Sevco away with murder.

Let's see who we get for the baby sevco team (officials) I'm going for Robertson with Muir on VAR. And I expect baby sevco to throw themselves about go over the top with tackles and be allowed to do so . There will be no lying down in this game watch how animated Naismith will be yet just stood there calmly at Hampden.

Hearts will be play a lot better against Celtic than what they did against sevco, its what they do, Hearts will be right in the faces of the Celtic midfielders and try win that battle, the Celtic midfielders will have to stand up to everything that Hearts through at them, l also expect the Hearts players to fall to the ground dramatically to waste time, and the referee and linesman will help them, with them getting free kicks, Celtic don't have wingers that try and get past the defenders, so that will be a area that Hearts won't have a problem with.

We should have enough to beat the mini Sevconian at home. It's how little we control games that has become a huge worry.
I'd be starting with idah and iwata at the weekend. Iwata isn't perfect but he at least can break counter attacks down. With McGregor hatate and O'Reilly we look soft and rarely win the ball back.
We need to start taking our early chances. Our midfield has been non existent almost all season but they need to turn up now and just get this over the line.

One thing for sure we will have to improve on yesterdays game and be much more clinical in attack, compete and control midfield and defend crosses at the back post a lot better than recently.
The points are paramount in all games, but if we can click into place all over the pitch it gives the team and support more confidence.

Celtic like many teams don’t use their wingers to try to beat man on outside and cross big long crosses into box, as even if Kyogo was playing well he couldn’t get on to the end of them and get header on goal .
First half yesterday was a very good example of Kuhn creating danger by cutting in and he got a couple of shots on target and on many an occasion slipped the ball into vacant space behind left back and midfielders or A J got crosses in from good positions.
JF on the left wing wasn’t intending to take on RB when he scored a goal in each half . If we played Idah more maybe our wingers should take on full backs . But IMO BR isn’t going to make changes at this stage.

My god how hard was that need to get in about this squad don't give me its nervy the one you would expect to show a winning mentality are no where you would think not one of them have won anything with celtic before. Backline shocking too slow with the pass foward, midfield is absolutely nowhere wether lack of form I don't know you would think they had never played together before. fowardline missing no wingers bar Forrest and kyogo offering nothing time to start with Idah. And just a quick one on Beaton when opposition are time wasting from the start of the game no issues our keeper takes his time at the end and is booked unreal.

Great result although our performance was dodgy.
Celtic now have 3 home league games left out of our 4 league matches left.
Celtic are in a great position and we can only throw it away.
I feel Kyogo still remains a man short away from home.
Wee James has stood up big time recently.

There's definitely a form and fitness issue with some of them.
Cal-Mac is clearly not fit or able to perform anywhere near what Celtic needs. BR has to put sentiment aside and play Tomoki, who is more than capable. As far as form goes, I think this is a more serious issue. We have not seen MOR play well since the transfer speculation in January. Kyogo has slipped from a consistent goal threat to a bit-part fraction of the last 2 seasons. The return of Hatate was anticipated as a perfectly timed asset in the run-in, but is struggling to assert himself, either through lack of fitness or confidence and like McGregor lost possession far too often.
The defense has struggled to keep a clean sheet, looking as vulnerable from set plays as I've seen all season.
The plus points are we won another game and maintained our lead and we have three home games where the support should play a huge part and the form of James Forrest is making the difference these days. I mentioned on the live chat that this must be one of the smallest and softest Celtic sides, in comparison to almost every SPL opponent and although we have had small built players down the years, many of them had big hearts and a big presence to match.
We need a lot more endeavor, grit and composure in the coming weeks, but we are in the driving seat and need to go up the gears.

Idah makes a massive difference to the way we play. Exactly the same focal as the Moose but obviously not on same level yet. Idah needs to start. I've no idea what to do with the wide men. Hopefully Maeda can play a part soon. Calmac was shocking today. However I'm not sure if iwata should start over him because I just don't think iwata offers much apart from a body in that position. He struggles even with simple passes and ice yet to see hom make a tackle since he joined. 3 decent-to-good performances at home should seal the deal.

I fear for some of my fellow Celtic supporters, those who have spent most of our after match discussions either ridiculing the whole team or many members, the same players after nearly every game .
We all know by now that the team isn’t perfect, nor are all the players ( either not good enough or in poor form) but we are almost their as SPL champions and are in cup final . We must be getting something right
It’s going to be hard for those hardest on our team to enjoy our successes if we get them.

Not one of them get passes marks if they think this form wins leagues they are seriously mistaken more than a kick up the arse required . BR needs to sort this out or he won't be here even if he wins the league.

I just want this season over, and pray that we win the league. There hasn’t been much joy in this season watching us stumble around.
Two terrible teams if truth be told, like watching two homeless drunks fighting.
We need a massive clear out of players that aren’t physical or good enough, although as previous windows have shown it’s not easy to move players on that don’t want to go. On top of this we will probably have to replace mor as well.

Not the game for kyogo get idah on more physicality to much tippy happy at the moment get idah on and force wingers to get crosses in because just now we are trying to play through them and wingers are constantly coming inside.
